The Miz Is Probably Going To Have A Celebrity Tag Partner

That would be a way to go. Celebrities have long since been a staple of WrestleMania, with the first edition featuring all kinds of them. There is a certain logic to it, as it can be interesting to see these people from outside the wrestling bubble come into the world and see what happens. Sometimes the celebrities even get into the ring and that seems likely to be the case again this year. The Kickoff Show match at WWE Elimination Chamber saw Rey Mysterio defeat the Miz. After the match, Mysterio and his son Dominik attacked Miz again. Later in the show, Miz promised that he was going to find a partner to deal with the Mysterios for good and left to make a phone call. According to PWInsider.com, Miz’s partner is likely to be YouTube celebrity Logan Paul, who has worked with WWE before, including an appearance at last year’s WrestleMania. Opinion: It’s a bit disappointing but Miz going the celebrity route does make the most sense. That ties in well with his Hollywood A-Lister deal, e..

AEW’s Cody Rhodes Says He’s Woody From Toy Story

That’s an interesting take. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works and has also come a long way in its short history. The company has rocketed up the charts, though things have also changed behind the scenes. This includes some adjustments to how much influence the top names have behind the scenes, which has changed the way they are viewed in front of the cameras. Now one of them has quite the opinion on how he is perceived. AEW Executive Vince President Cody Rhodes was a guest on Busted Open Radio and discussed the fans’ more negative reactions to his recent appearances. Rhodes talked about how his reception will be different depending on the location and he does not want to take the simple route of a boss abusing his power. He then went into an explanation based on Woody from the Toy Story franchise, saying that while he once was the most popular, now some new people have replaced him. Rhodes also said that he wants to ride this wave and enjoy all of it. Here are some of ..

But which version of the ordinary man who does extraordinary things would Lashley be facing? Those questions were answered tonight, as it was confirmed that The Demon will be making his return to WWE to take on the champion. The last time we saw Balor portray his alter ego was at SummerSlam in 2018. You can see the entrance from that below: [This post contains video, click to play] From WWE.com: Though Lashley and Rush went through a rough patch where they struggled to get on the same page, the two appear on good enough terms to give Bálor even more to worry about at The Showcase of the Immortals. Now that Bálor has promised to bring The Demon to WrestleMania, can Finn overcome the odds yet again en route to regaining the Intercontinental Title? Or, will Lashley find a way to overcome in h..

Kurt Angle Says GLOW Is Helping Bring More Attention to Wrestling

<p>Kurt <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/angle/" title="Angle">Angle</a></strong> talked about the success of GLOW on his recent interview with the <a href="http://www.dallasobserver.com/arts/wwe-champion-kurt-angle-en-route-to-dallas-for-great-balls-of-fire-talks-changes-in-sport-9622067" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dallas Observer</a> recently.</p><p>He talked about GLOW’s recent popularity which led wrestling into mainstream environment again, and the main event <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/women/" title="women">women</a></strong>’s matches:</p><blockquote> <p>I would say that <em>GLOW</em>’s popularity had an influence on us having women’s main event matches. But the WWE has been working on their women’s division for years, and we’ve already been leading up to having the <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/girls/" title="girls">girls</a></strong> main event TV shows.</p> <p>A few years ago, WWE made the decision to stop referring to the women wrestlers as “divas.” When I was in WWE the first go-round, the women were having bikini pillow fights and it was all about the look of the girl. Now it’s all about their in-ring ability. <em>GLOW</em> is helping bring more attention to wrestling and women’s wrestling in particular. I think people who watch WWE will watch <em>GLOW</em> and vice-versa.</p> </blockquote><p>GLOW is Netflix’s latest show which is based on a promotion of the same name, called Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. The show was released via <a title="Netflix" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Netflix</a> on June 23, 2017.</p>

Booker T Not Happy With The New Day Mimicking His ‘N-Word’ Botch

<p>Booker T talked about the New Day mimicking his famous “N-Word” botch from WCW on the latest installment of his Heated Conversations podcast. Here are some highlights of what he said:</p><p><strong>Not Condoning New Day’s Mimicking</strong>: “I just want to make it publicly known that I don’t condone that at all especially coming off of Monday Night. We as a people, we gotta know when it’s time to speak up and when it’s time to shut up. My mother taught me that a long time ago. If you don’t know, it’ll come back and haunt you. [The WCW promo blooper] has haunted me for this many years. You put yourself in a situation for something to happen, just like Mike Tyson did, something can happen. For these <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/young/" title="young">young</a></strong> kids to understand and realize and be able to speak up for themselves…you know…then again, I <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/spoke/" title="spoke">spoke</a></strong> up because I was talent. I spoke up because I knew that I could speak up. I implore these young people out there to know exactly what they’re doing and how they are affecting our young people that are coming up. That’s the most important thing as far as I’m concerned. Me personally, I know I’ve made mistakes. That word that I said on national television in front of the world – I wish I could go back and erase it. I wish that I could take it back. I wish that WWE would never do something like that ever again.”</p><p><strong>Not Needing it to Air</strong>: “Me personally, I don’t appreciate it. I don’t know if [WWE] knew that the parody was gonna go down because I know those guys do a lot of their own stuff. I don’t think that we as a company need to go that route. I think that parody should not have ever been shown on television because it wasn’t a great moment for us as black people. For us as black people, it was one of our worst moments. Just like the [Lamelo] Ball thing. The kid is 15-years old [and] I don’t blame him or anything like that. It was something that slipped out just like myself [in 1997], it was something that slipped out. For me as a person that’s trying to set an example for us as black people and for me to let so many people down – even the ones that thought it was the cool – even the ones that thought it was an anthem… …I want them to know that it was my worst day that I could have ever had being a black man and letting so many of our people down by calling us that word or saying that word in any realm [or] any form was definitely not right by any means. I wish I could take it right back. That one blemish is the only thing they have over my head that they could put out there to try to make me look bad in any way <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/shape/" title="shape">shape</a></strong>, form, or fashion. Of course, I could put a spin on it… … but does that make it right? No, it doesn’t make it right. It’s still a stain, a blemish, a mark that no surgical procedure could ever repair. So I just want young people to know exactly what they’re saying and when they’re saying it.”</p>

WWE Monday Night Raw Results – 12 June 2017

<p>Welcome to what promises to be an explosive episode of Monday Night Raw!</p><p>WWE.com has already confirmed that tonight’s show will open with Brock Lesnar, who will look to confront <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/samoa-joe" title="Samoa Joe">Samoa Joe</a></strong>! Last week Joe choked-out Paul Heyman and made this title match a lot more personal. Lesnar is liable to be fuming tonight and we could see a knock-down drag-out brawl between these two behemoths, although I think WWE should look to keep them apart.</p><p>Also on tonight’s show, The Hardy Boyz will get a Tag Team Championship rematch against <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/sheamus" title="Sheamus">Sheamus</a></strong> & Cesaro. Can Matt and Jeff win the titles back, or will Shesaro win by hook or crook? This could serve as the end of the feud tonight, or a simple roadblock on route to their next big encounter. It’s a little too soon to end this feud, especially when there’s no viable contender’s in the immediate background.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/the-miz" title="The Miz">The Miz</a></strong> and Dean Ambrose are still embroiled in a feud over the Intercontinental Championship, although last week The Miz angered his wife Maryse. Ambrose is deep inside Miz’s head and I would expect that to continue here tonight. Elsewhere, Nia Jax got screwed out of a proper title match with Alexa Bliss last week and she will no doubt be on the hunt for revenge. And then we have Enzo and Cass, who are still getting attacked on a weekly basis. Are The Revival really the culprits? That seems far too obvious at this point, but we will hopefully find out tonight just who is behind the attacks.</p><p>That’s the preview for tonight’s show! What do you think is going to go down? Let us know in the comments and be sure to check out the awesome Ringside News app, enjoy the show!</p>

R-Truth Getting Heat Over Memorial Day-Related Tweet

<p>While several WWE Superstars took to their Twitter accounts today and remembered fallen veterans for Memorial Day, R-Truth went a different <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/route/" title="route">route</a></strong> and used it as an opportunity to further his feud with Goldust. This didn’t go over well with several fans as R-Truth is getting a lot of heat over his reply to Goldust’s Memorial Day Tweet:</p>
