The question about the show’s namesake matches is who will be showing up after not being around for a long time. That can make for some interesting guesses, but now we have a good idea of two more stars who are making their returns. Alexa Bliss is one of the most marketable stars that WWE has under contract, which often means a crazy schedule that keeps her away from home for significant stretches of time. Anyone with pets will tell you how hard it is to leave them for an extended period of time. The five-time WWE Women’s Champion just went more than 20 days being home. Two more on the list? There have been all kinds of wrestlers returning to WWE in recent months and those returns might continue taking place for a little while to come. Several names are interested in working for the new regime and there are some who are in contact with WWE. Now it seems the company is at least interested in having two more former names return. New reports are suggesting that a pair of former champions are either on their way back to WWE or at least on the company’s radar. According to Ringsidenews.com, WWE is interested in possibly bringing back Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder. There is no word on if Ryder is interested in returning to the company. That is some great news. There are all kinds of injuries in the wrestling world and some of them are among the worst things that can happen to a wrestler. Sometimes you see someone’s career cut off out of nowhere and it can be quite the wait to see things get better. That was the case a few months back with a very serious injury, but now there might be some good news. This is the first time that Big E. has been seen without the brace since he suffered a broken neck after a botched belly to belly suplex from Ridge Holland on the March 11 SmackDown. This can happen for a variety of reasons and sometimes it is due to something beyond the wrestler’s control. That was the case again last year but now it seems like we might be seeing someone again. There is no word on when Deville could return to the ring, though WWE has considered bringing her back multiple times throughout the course of the year so far. Deville’s most recent match took place at Summerslam 2020, though she has served as an authority figure since January. Deville has taken time away from an in-ring career while she deals with the legal process involving a man accused of stalking her.
