WATCH: Former WWE Stars Announce Pregnancy (This Is So Sweet)

There’s the next generation. There are a lot of wrestlers in the world today though some of them are away from the ring at times. Those wrestlers are still waiting to get back to the ring at some point, but there are things that can slow them down. Some of those things are very good news though and that is the case again, as two wrestlers have a very positive announcement. AEW star Shawn Spears and former WWE and Impact Wrestling star Cassie Lee (better known as Peyton Royce) have announced that they are expecting a child. The video shows Spears opening a gift and seeing something inside that tells him Lee is pregnant. An ultrasound photo is also shown, along with photos of Spears hugging Lee’s stomach. There is no word on when the baby is due. This is special. Update On A Pair Of NXT Contract Statuses

Get your calendars ready. It seems that you can’t go more than a day or two at this point without WWE having to deal with another contract issue. So many of their wrestlers have had their deals either expire or are on the verge of expiring, with several of them either leaving or seeming to consider leaving. Now we have an update on another contract status, which is related to another WWE deal. According to Fightful Select, Candice LeRae’s NXT contract expires at some point in 2022. This means that her deal does not line up with her husband Johnny Gargano’s, whose deal is set to expire on December 3. LeRae is currently out of the ring due to her pregnancy, but she has insisted on remaining a television character for as long as possible. It is not clear what either of the two plan to do when their deals expire. LeRae has all the tools needed to be a star. Top AEW Star Out Of Action “Indefinitely”

I’d say he’s earned it. Most promotions have their share of stars, but there are only a small number of wrestlers who feel like they are above the rest of the roster. Those wrestlers need to be treated like a different kind of star and a wrestling company should be a little more careful with them. That seems to be the case with a current top star, who is getting a bit of a break. During this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, commentary announced that Jon Moxley will be out of action indefinitely following an attack at Double Or Nothing over the weekend. Moxley had competed in a match for the Tag Team Titles and was hit with four straight BTE Triggers to end the match. There is no word on when Moxley will be back in the ring or on television. The announcement of Moxley taking time off also comes as his wife, former WWE backstage interviewer and host Renee Paquette is due to give birth later this year. That’s so sweet. Wrestlers are a weird breed as they are supposed to be playing characters, but a lot of the time those characters are amplified versions of themselves. Those people have lives and worlds outside of wrestling and it can be interesting to see what happens to them when the cameras are off. One of the bigger names in WWE is going to have some very good news to celebrate. In a new video posted to her Instagram, Kofi Kingston’s wife Kori has announced that the couple is expecting the third child. The video, as filmed by Kofi, shows Kori reading a book to their sons Khi and Orion, with the final page revealing that they were having a new baby in November. There is no word on what gender the baby will be or any potential names as of yet. This is rather great. It’s long overdue. There are a lot of names under the WWE banner and some of them are around a lot more often than others. At times it does not seem possible for someone to be as active as they are without collapsing but some people just have that drive that cannot be stopped. Shayna Baszler Rips Becky Lynch For “Irresponsible” Pregnancy

That’s getting a little serious. One of the biggest moments of the year saw Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch announce that she was pregnant, meaning that she would be vacating the title. This changed everything around for the Raw Women’s division and a lot of WWE as a whole. It was a very cool moment for a lot of people, but that wasn’t the case for everyone. There are very few people who came to the main roster with such a reputation as Shayna Baszler. She had held the NXT Women’s Title for more combined days than anyone in history and had seemed ready to be heading to the main roster for a long time. It was an amazing moment and one of the cooler things that you will see on television in a long time.
