That’s a big step. Wrestlers are part of a very physical sport that can cause all kinds of health problems over the course of their careers. At the same time, there are other factors that can make things even worse for them through a variety of ways. While speaking with the New York Post, Roberts revealed that he had been on oxygen for the last year and a half due to lung issues. Now though, Roberts is now only receiving oxygen at night through his CPAP machine. He is also exercising five or six days a week and riding his exercise bike for 45 minutes a day. There are all kinds of health problems that a wrestler could have throughout their career, with many of them being the same kind of thing that run of the mill people deal with every day. Those are often the more serious ones though and the question becomes how the recovery is going to go. That is the case again, as a wrestling legend is recovering from a health scare. Lawler’s longtime WWE broadcast partner Jim Ross has sent out a tweet, revealing that he spoke with Lawler briefly Tuesday night. Ross said that Lawler’s prognosis was “positive” but did not give any further details. There is no word on when Lawler might be released from the hospital. Something Positive: Excellent News On The Recovery Of Jay Briscoes’ Daughters

That’s a big step. The saddest wrestling story of the year so far has been the passing of Jay Briscoe, who was killed in a car crash earlier this week. Briscoe’s death was horrible enough, but on top of that, his two daughters were severely injured as well. Now though there is an update on their conditions and in this case, it is something much more positive for a change. Josh Wharton, a family friend of the Briscoes, uploaded a live stream on Friday with an update on Briscoe’s daughters. Gracie, 12 years old, regained movement in her lower limbs for the first time since the accident. She has also been removed from her IV medication and is recovering. Jayleigh, 9 years old, is now in a back brace and should be able to recover from her injuries over the next several weeks. This required Graham to have a breathing tube installed, but according to Graham’s wife, Graham is breathing on his own again and the tube could be removed this week. The incident led to a series of suspensions and changed all kinds of storylines for the company at the same time. That is the kind of thing you do not see very often and it seems that one star will not be back in the company anytime soon. As it turns out, that might not be the most unpopular decision. Better Than Nothing: Update On Adam Cole’s Injury Status Following June Concussion

That’s a good sign. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler, as you never know how long someone is going to be out of action. There are certain kinds of injuries that are worse than others and they often have an open ended time frame for a return to the ring. That was the situation earlier this year for a prominent AEW name and now we have a small positive update. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: No More: AEW Tag Team Splits, New Stable Formed In Its Wake Back in June, AEW’s Adam Cole suffered a concussion during a four way match at Forbidden Door. Cole has not wrestled since and has only made one appearance on AEW television since the show. According to Dave Meltzer on Twitter, Cole is doing “much better”, but there is no word on when Cole could be back on AEW TV.
