This is the kind of show that can change a wrestler’s future and the question becomes what happens after that. Getting to headline the show is one of the biggest career boosts imaginable and now some different names might be receiving that honor. Mayweather sent several texts messages to his wife and called his juvenile son. These actions violate an order stemming from an incident in 2016 when Mayweather was arrested for headbutting his wife. Following decades of WWE dominating the industry, a new major promotion is now offering wrestlers another place to go. That can lead to some battles to land talent, and now we might be seeing that again with a very talented star who has recently appeared on AEW television. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Kingly: Great News On Jerry Lawler’s Health Following Stroke Earlier this month, AEW presented its annual Face of the Revolution ladder match, which included AAA star Komander. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE contacted Komander both before and after he took part in the match. The wrestling itself was pretty good, but the length of the show was quite the drag. They did offer something big at the end with Eddie Kingston showing up to challenge Claudio Castagnoli, so there is at least a path forward in the main event. Let’s get to it. TV Title: Samoa Joe vs. Tony Deppen Joe is defending and works on the wrist to start. For some reason Deppen strikes away, earning himself a beating in the corner.
