BREAKING: WWE Announces Newest Inductee Into Hall Of Fame

He’s a big one. While there are all kinds of accomplishments and milestones to be achieved in WWE, there are very few that stand the test of time. Almost any title that is won is eventually going to be lost, which creates a problem for remembering some wrestlers more than others. There is one honor that sticks around forever though and now another star is receiving the special recognition. Flashback: Bayley Seemingly Special Backstage Moment In Tweet To Trish Stratus

That’s a special moment. While wrestling is scripted and the results are known ahead of time, there are certain things about it that are more realistic than others. At the end of the day, these wrestlers are out there doing their jobs in front of millions of people. That can make for some tricky situations as they try to do their work while keeping their minds right. Sometimes that needs a boost, and that was the case in an infamous moment. Not Yet: WrestleMania Title Match Delayed After Controversial Finish To #1 Contenders Match

You’re up next. A long title reign can be one of the most interesting things in all of wrestling, as it opens up the question of who might be the person to take them down. Having a huge title defense can be a lot of fun as you can feel the possibility of a title change. We almost had that again, but things have gotten a little more complicated after a controversial finish. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s In: Active WWE Star Announced For Hall Of Fame Class Of 2023 This week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus won a fatal five way match for the #1 contendership to the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania. That’s Different: WWE Makes Huge Announcement About Backlash, Bad Bunny Set For Major Role

They’re going. WWE runs several events a year and some of them are among the biggest wrestling cards anywhere. Getting to see one in person is a pretty rare treat as they only come to certain areas. It means a lot to have a show go somewhere else for the first time ever or even in a long time. That is what WWE is now planning to do for the first time in eighteen years. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: LOOK: Liv Morgan Appears At New York Knicks Game, Gives Man The Cold Shoulder WWE has announced that this year’s Backlash will take place on May 6 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. REVIEW: WrestleMania 29: Round Two

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Wrestlemania XXIX Date: April 7, 2013 Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey Attendance: 80,676 Commentators: Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, John Bradshaw Layfield It’s Rock vs. John Cena II and I don’t think you need to hear anything else about the main event. With that match out of the way, the biggest name left is the Undertaker, who will be facing CM Punk in a match that might have been better had it been for the title. This time it’s personal though, as Paul Bearer had recently passed away, leaving ..

LOOK: Solo Sikoa Gets Married, Several WWE Stars In Attendance

That’s worth celebrating. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and they portray several different characters. Watching any given WWE show offers a big mixture of different looks, styles and personae, but it can be fascinating to see them mix together. One thing they all have in common is that they do other things once the cameras stop rolling, which was the case in a big way recently. WRESTLING RUMORS: Vince McMahon Pushed WrestleMania 39 Match Onto Card

That would be a change. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE. McMahon has taken his former role as Chairman of the Board, with the reported goal of selling the company. This has led to the question of whether McMahon will return to the creative side of the company. Now we might know a little more about such a change. Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar accepted MVP’s offer of a match against Omos at WrestleMania 39. The match would be a first time pairing as Lesnar and Omos have never faced each other. According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, the match was McMahon’s idea, who pushed it through and made it happen. WWE and its executives have consistently said that McMahon has no impact on the creative side of the company. I’m told the highly anticipated, very compelling (??) Brock Lesnar vs Omos WrestleMania matchup was the idea of one specific, powerful person who pushed it through. pic.twitter.com/VpcdEFsLzJ — WrestleVotes..

WATCH: Sheamus, Drew McIntyre And Braun Strowman Have Fun At WWE Live Event

It’s a different kind of show. There are all kinds of WWE events throughout the year and some of them are a bit more personal than the rest. While televised events go in a certain way, live events are much more geared to the crowd and that allows for some more unique moments. That was the situation over the weekend as some WWE stars had a bit of fun before a match. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Plan A: Here Are The Original Plans WWE Title Plans For WrestleMania 39 (They’re Different) Over the weekend, WWE held a live event in Rockford, Illinois, featuring a six man tag match featuring Braun Strowman, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre vs. the Bloodline. Before the match, McIntyre was posing on the top rope when Sheamus lifted up the back of McIntyre’s kilt to look underneath. Strowman laughed at the situation, with McIntyre playing along as well. The Bloodline went on to win the match. It was something funny. Check out what Sheamus did and the team in some more serious moments: [This post contain..

He Did It: Jon Moxley Is First To Reach Major AEW Milestone

He’s the first. While they might not always seem like it, wins and losses make a big difference in wrestling. If a wrestler is not treated as someone who can win matches when they matter, or at all really, the fans are going to pick up on it. That is why winning consistently can make someone a big star, and now someone has reached quite the winning milestone. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Ouch: AEW Personality Says He Might Have Suffered A Broken Jaw This Week The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Jon Moxley defeat Evil Uno via submission.
