Back In A Bit: Another AEW Star Confirms Injury, Promises To Return Soon

On the shelf. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know how long they are going to be out of action. An injury can take place at almost any time and put someone on the shelf out of nowhere. That seems to have taken place again, as an AEW is injured and out of action, leaving someone else to take his place in the ring. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On The Market: Former Multiple Time World Champion Officially A Free Agent AEW’s Matt Hardy has announced that Marq Quen is injured. As a result, Hardy will be teaming with Quen’s Private Party partner Isaiah Kassidy for the time being. Quen responded to the announcement, saying that he will be back in the ring quickly. There is no word on when Quen was hurt or how long he will be out of action. Quen’s most recent match took place on November 30. Since @Marq_Quen is gonna be out of action for a bit, myself & @IsiahKassidy are marching forward. Tonight we team up on #AEWDarkElevation & plan on stealing t..

He Did It! Road Dogg Reveals Who Was Behind Unsolved WWE Mystery

There’s the reveal. There are so many stories that take place during any given week of WWE programming that it can be difficult to keep track of all of them. That can be the case for the fans as well as the company itself, as there are times when stories are left hanging with no resolution. Now we know where something was going to go but WWE never actually did anything about it. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: No More: Sasha Banks Reportedly “Done” With WWE, What Caused The Split On the July 4, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw, a food fight broke out at the 4th of July backstage party. Kevin Owens was the only person who did not get covered in food during the fight, but at the end of the segment, an unseen person hit him with a pie. The person who threw the pie has never been revealed on WWE television. Following the segment, several WWE videos attempted to figure out who did it, with no success. However, according to the Road Dogg on his Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Vince McMahon was going to..

Boss Time: Update On Vince McMahon’s Relationship With WWE In Retirement

He deserves a break. This year has been a very eventful one in the wrestling world and there is nothing to suggest that those changes are wrapping up anytime soon. The biggest change of them all has been Vince McMahon retiring from WWE after decades in charge. McMahon doing something other than running WWE seems hard to fathom and now we have a better idea of what he is doing now that he is away from the company. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Upgrade: Health Update On Missing Wrestling Legend According to Fightful Select, WWE sources have said they do not hear from McMahon very much these days. Instead, McMahon has reportedly been out more often than when he was running WWE. This included a birthday party with some WWE superstars earlier this year, plus being seen at a restaurant with a woman in New York City last month. McMahon left WWE in July. AEW Rampage Results – October 7, 2022

Rampage Date: October 7, 2022 Location: Entertainment And Sports Arena, Washington DC Commentators: It’s the first half of a live double shot with a special Rampage. That should make the show a bit more interesting, which is a boost that is rather necessary around here. We have a Trios Titles match tonight, as the previously announced mask vs. career match has been canceled due to reasons of Andrade El Idolo. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Blackpool Combat Club vs. Rush/Private Party Regal calls Excalibur a caramel cheesecake that he would let melt in his mouth. Regal to Jericho: “I’d rather rip off my own eyelids and dip my head in hot soapy water than sit next to you.” The Firm is watching at ringside as Castagnoli takes Kassidy down with almost no effort to start. Yuta comes in as Jericho and Regal argue over how filthy and horrible Blackpool, England is. Kassidy gets sent down again so it’s off to Rush, who spits at Moxley and shakes his hair, which is enough to bring Moxle..

AEW Rampage Results – September 30, 2022

Rampage Date: September 30, 2022 Location: Liacouras Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Commentators: Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone Rampage is back to normal this week and that should make for a decent enough show. You never know what you’re going to get around here, though odds are you’ll get at least one important thing. Other than that though, there is a good chance you’ll be seeing some names who aren’t around on Dynamite very often. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Tag Team Titles: Acclaimed vs. Butcher and the Blade vs. Private Party Acclaimed, with Billy Gunn, is defending. Bowens and Kassidy start things off as Matt Hardy is watching in the back. They trade quick one counts as the fans sing in praise of the Acclaimed. A standoff gives us a handshake before Bowens drives Kassidy into the corner for the tag off to Castor. With Kassidy down, Castor stops for some scissoring with Gunn before Bowens comes in for a neckbreaker onto Castor’s knees. Quen comes in and gets a..

Yes, Again: Another AEW Star Hurt During Rampage Match

Yes again, but not too bad. AEW has a very talented roster but the company has been going through a nasty run of injuries in recent months. The company has had one wrestler injured after another and some of the wrestlers have been out of action over and over. That is the kind of thing that can take time to get over but thankfully the most recent injury might not be so bad. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW’s Rey Fenix was injured during the Lucha Bros vs. Private Party match on Rampage. Fenix was injured taking an atomic drop, hurting his ankle in the process. However, Fenix is said to be ok and has since wrestled another match in Mexico since the injury. It is not expected that he will be missing any time from AEW as a result. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that keeps happening in some way in AEW and there comes a point where it isn’t a run of bad luck or coincidences. I don’t know if AEW wrestlers are trying to go too fast or if they need more time in the ring or what,..

Yes Again: Another AEW Star Injured, How Long He’ll Be Out Of Action

Another one down. AEW is in a weird place as the company has been dealing with an incredible series of injuries. That is the kind of thing that can slow anyone down and you never want to see it happen to anyone, but AEW has had one issue after another. Now they have another one on the injured list, though in this case it might not be as bad as some of the others. AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Andrade El Idolo was injured in a match against Rey Fenix three weeks ago. El Idolo has still been able to make appearances, including being ringside this week on Rampage, but has not bee able to wrestle. Following the announcement, El Idolo sent out a tweet saying that he will be back in a week or two and said the injury is nothing serious. There is no word on what kind of an injury El Idolo suffered. He’ll be ringside for Private Party vs Lucha Bros on #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama tonight, he’s been hurt since the classic vs @ReyFenixMx 3 weeks ago. He got @IsiahKassidy & @Marq_Quen t..

Top Independent Star Suffers Possible Torn Bicep, Finishes Match Anyway

Ouch. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to be put on the shelf with an injury. It might be something that has built up over time and has to be corrected but there are also times when an injury pops up out of nowhere. Both are equally bad, but the latter can stop someone’s push cold. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again, as a top independent star may have been injured. NWA World Champion Matt Cardona revealed that he was injured during a match at GCW’s Downward Spiral event. The injury took place during a match against Black Christian though it is not clear when it happened during the match. Cardona tweeted that he thought he tore his bicep and was forced to miss his own after party as he flew to Orlando to get his arm looked at. There is no word on how long Cardona could be out, though he is scheduled to defend the NWA World Title against Nick Aldis on June 11. I think I tore my bicep and I still finished the match and beat you!!! https://t.co/PWzrCryEV6 — Matt Car..

Triple H Makes Surprise WWE Return With Message For The Roster

Welcome back. A return can be a very special thing in wrestling as you never know when you might see one. That can make it all the more interesting when you see someone pop up that you didn’t expect. It can be all the more emotional when it is someone who is coming back after a serious issue. That was the case this week, though it wasn’t something that took place on camera. According to Fightful Select, Triple H surprised the WWE roster by making an appearance at a talent meeting this week. This was one of Triple H’s first appearances in any official capacity after his heart issue in August of last year. In an interview with Metro, Kevin Owens said that the message of the speech was “enjoy this”. There is no word on when Triple H will be back to work full time for WWE, or if he ever will be. In addition, also according to Fightful Select, the wrestlers were told they would be making more money off of third party deals, including Cameo, signings and more, making it a “great” start to t..

BREAKING: Jeff Hardy Makes AEW Debut

There he is. Wrestlers jump from promotion to promotion fairly frequently these days, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. It can be a lot of fun to see someone show up in a different company, as you never know what they might be doing. Sometimes it is nearly impossible to hide who is going to be showing up though and that was the case again with the latest debut. Jeff Hardy made his AEW debut this week on Dynamite, saving his brother Matt, Sting and Darby Allin from an attack at the hands of Andrade El Idolo, Private Party and the Butcher and the Blade. This came three months after Jeff was released from WWE after walking out on a match at a live event. There is no word on what Jeff will be doing now that he is a part of AEW. Opinion: This isn’t exactly a surprise and that is not a bad thing. Your mileage on the Hardys getting back together again might vary but at least we have gotten to the point and can see their latest reunion. I don’t blame AEW for trying something like t..

Dynamite Date: February 23, 2022 Location: Webster Bank Arena, Bridgeport, Connecticut Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur We are two and a half weeks away from Revolution and that means it is time to start hammering down the card. That could go in a few different ways, which makes this show all the more interesting. It’s a huge brawl to start, with no entrances, and people fighting in and out of the ring. Blade knocks Alex Reynolds of the Dark Order out but spends too much time posing, allowing John Silver t..

AEW Rampage Results – January 28, 2022

Rampage Date: January 28, 2022 Location: Wolstein Center, Cleveland, Ohio Commentators: Taz, Chris Jericho, Excalibur, Ricky Starks It’s another Friday and Jon Moxley is back in the ring. That should be enough to make the show work, but we also have a pair of title matches, as Jade Cargill defends the TBS Title against Julia Hart and Private Party challenges for the Tag Team Titles. That’s not bad for an hour so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Anthony Bowens vs. Jon Moxley Moxley gets a great ovation and Caster’s rap is about every thing happening to Moxley as of late, save for his rehab. Moxley jumps Bowens before the bell and beats him up, including taking it to the floor. He even stops to bow to and pose with referee Aubrey Edwards. The fight goes into the crowd with Bowens getting beaten up out there too. Back to ringside with Bowens managing to post him to slow things down. They get back in with Bowens starting in on the arm but Moxley fights out of a suplex. Bowens neckbre..

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – December 29, 2021

Dynamite Date: December 29, 2021 Location: Daily’s Place, Jacksonville, Florida Commentators: Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone We’ll wrap up another year of Dynamite with this one, in the place that hosted the show for what felt like the better part of ever. Jurassic Express/Christian Cage/Lucha Bros vs. FTR/Matt Hardy/Private Party Wheeler takes Christian into the corner for a clean break so we hit the double bicep pose. Christian works on the arm for a bit so it’s off to Harwood to trade chops with Jungle Boy in the corner. Harwood gets caught in the wrong corner and it’s Christian coming in for a kick to the face. The jump over the top into the uppercut has Ha..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – December 27, 2021

Monday Night Raw Date: December 27, 2021 Location: Little Caesars Arena, Detroit, Michigan Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton It’s the final show of the year and that means it’s also the go home show for Day One. There are a few big stories this week, including the renewal of Miz and Maryse’s wedding vows, but we also get to find out how the Coronavirus outbreak has impacted the roster. Let’s get to it. Here is RKBro for a chat. Riddle, in a party hat, talks about how the team had a good year but Randy Orton won’t read a Christmas card. Orton wants to beat Otis right now to make sure he has a good new year, but Riddle wants to look forward to the future. Next year could see them patent Brogurt! Last week Riddle was thinking about the future and thought he turned into a viper but Orton doesn’t want to hear about it. Instead he asks to see a clip from last week, which has Riddle wondering what Orton means by “production truck”. Anyway, Otis might be non-RKOable, so ..

AEW Star Out Of Action With Injury, Already Missing For Months

That could change things. Injuries are never good to see in the wrestling world as they can shake up the status quo in a hurry. That is never a positive thing and then it becomes more about waiting to see just how bad things are. It seems that is the case again now, as an AEW star in injured. Unfortunately, it is the kind of injury that could keep more than one person out of action. According to Fightful Select, AEW’s Marq Quen is out with an injury, which has kept him out of action since the October 11 edition of Dark: Elevation. It is not clear when the injury took place or what kind of an injury Quen has. With Quen on the shelf, his regular Private Party tag partner Isaiah Kassidy has been wrestling with him, often as part of the Hardy Family Office. There is no word on when Quen will be able to return to the ring. Private Party is a heck of a team when Quen is available. WWE Announces A Very Special New Partnership

It’s a worthy cause. There are a lot of things that WWE does every year and some of them are rather interesting. You often see WWE run the same events during the same time of the year, but sometimes you see a change that gets your attention. That is the case again this year, and this time around they are doing something a little bit different and a good bit more special. The National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation has announced a multi-year partnership with WWE, which will see WWE help tell the stories of recipients of the Medal of Honor. This will include features on this weekend’s Tribute to the Troops special, as well as a donation of $1 to the Foundation from every souvenir WrestleMania ticket sold. The partnership will officially begin this week at the WrestleMania On-Sale Party at AT&T Stadium. This is a rather cool announcement.
