It wasn’t over. WWE presents all kinds of wrestling events every year, many of which are aired on national television. At the same time, there are several events that only take place in front of the crowd, with the WWE cameras not rolling. Sometimes you will get to see some of the footage shot by fans though, and that was the case this week, with some big names featured. That makes for some interesting times on the way to the show, and now we might have an idea of one big angle that could be taking place before then. Long Term: WWE May Have Some Plans For Liv Morgan’s Title Reign

They have a plan for that. Last weekend’s Money In The Bank event was a rather eventful night for WWE. Not only did the company have the show’s two namesake matches, but Miss Money In The Bank Liv Morgan cashed in her briefcase to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. That was a huge jump up for Morgan and it seems that WWE might have something in mind for her. The Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada is hosting a WWE live event on August 20. The advertisment for the event includes Morgan defending the SmackDown Women’s Title against both Natalya and Ronda Rousey. While the card is subject to change, this show takes place after Summerslam on July 30, suggesting that Morgan could be holding the title beyond the next major event. The main event tonight is for the TNT Title as Scorpio Sky defends against Dante Martin, but there is also an announcement from CM Punk about the future of the World Title. That’s how you make a dream match. The Women’s Revolution has brought women’s wrestling to unbelievable heights in WWE, to the point where a women’s match even headlined WrestleMania. That is something few would have ever believed to be a realistic possibility but they pulled it off. So much of it is due to the talent involved, but they were influenced by the generation that came before them. This weekend, the generations collided. This weekend, WWE ran a live event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The event was hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, a native of Toronto. The main event of the show saw Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch successfully defend her title against Rhea Ripley. After the match, Stratus got in the ring to confront Lynch, who slapped her. She’s good for that. There have been so many wrestlers throughout WWE’s history that it is almost impossible to keep track of everyone. Since there have been been so many, it takes something special to really stick out, which is what makes legends feel so much more impressive. They are the kinds of wrestlers that WWE can bring out for a one off appearance and get a nice reaction, which is what they are hoping for again. The Kitchener Memorial Auditorium is advertising Trish Stratus as the special guest host for a WWE live event on Saturday March 26. Stratus is not expected to wrestle or do anything physical on the show. This comes the day before Stratus is scheduled to host the March 27 live event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Call it a preview? We are less than two months away from WrestleMania 38 and there are a lot of matches that need to be set up. While we already know some of the bigger matches on the card, there are several more that still need to be added. Some of those might seem a bit obvious from here, but there are some that might not make any sense from here. Now, we might have some previews. According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, WWE is advertising two matches for a March 27 live event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The matches are: Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair Bobby Lashley vs. Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles While not confirmed, these matches could be previews of upcoming WrestleMania 38 matches. Lynch is currently scheduled to defend her Raw Women’s Title against Elimination Chamber. Daughter Of Former WWE Star Signs With WWE, Starting At Performance Center

Keep it in the family. There are certain wrestling families that have been around for a long time with all kinds of members. Names such as the Anoa’i and Hart families have been around for a very long time and still have members debuting even in modern times. Some of these might have more success than others, but now we might be seeing a new family get itself further established. During a recent appearance on Stories With Bradshaw And Brisco, former WWE star Santino Marella announced that his daughter, Bianca Carelli, has signed with WWE. Marella said that she will be starting at the Performance Center in two weeks and mentioned that Carelli has a background in television and was Ms. Teen Ontario. She made her debut in 2020 and has wrestled for the NWA at its Empower event. Opinion: I’m not sure what Carelli can do in the ring but there must be something to her if she is being signed to WWE. Having her around at the Performance Center should do some good things for her career, though..

Welcome back. There are certain legends who are going to get a reaction no matter what they do. It can make for some very special moments and some of them are the kind that you can only get in certain places. The best of them are often those which take place in someone’s hometown, which will be the case again for a special appearance to close out the year. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has announced that she will be appearing as the guest host for the WWE Live Event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada on December 29. Stratus has made it clear that this will be a one off appearance and not the start of a long term run. There is nothing to suggest that Stratus will be getting in the ring or doing anything physical on the show. Stratus is certainly a legend. Bret Hart Becomes First Wrestler To Receive Very Prestigious Honor

Better than a title. There are all kinds of accomplishments to be won in wrestling and some of them have quite the prestige. Wrestling is a bit of a unique industry though in that titles can be won and lost on any given night. You do not see many accomplishments that stand the tests of time but one wrestling legend will be receiving one of the biggest honors available. WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has announced, via an Instagram post, that he will be the first professional wrestler ever inducted into Canada’s Walk Of Fame in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hart is part of the class of 2021, also involving other athletes as well as scientists and others. Hart is a former five time WWE Champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006. Hart has one of the greatest careers of all time. With Rebellion done and Slammiversary about two and a half months away, it’s time for Impact Wrestling to get right back to their regular schedule and that means more episodes being taped. That was the case on Monday night, as the calendar turns towards the summer and their next pay per view. They’re coming off a very strong pay per view so hopefully things can keep going.
