She has their attention. There are so many stars on the WWE roster that it can be difficult for someone to stand out. That isn’t even including the NXT roster, which has its own group of wrestlers who can do some very impressive things as well. It takes something special to stand out but now a certain star has caught the attention of WWE officials and her future is looking bright. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Violent Attack Takes Place After Monday Night Raw According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is “very very high” on Sol Ruca, viewing her as a potential star in the making. Ruca signed with WWE and reported to the Performance Center in March 2022, making her television debut in July, following her first ever match in June. Ruca’s finishing move, a backflip cutter out of the corner called the Sol Snatcher, went viral after she debuted it in December. There is nothing to suggest that she will be promoted to the main roster at any point in the near future. WWE might be on to some..
So maybe not? One of the biggest wrestling stories over the last year has been the return of several former WWE stars. After multiple years of mass releases, a bunch of the former WWE wrestlers have been brought back into the company. These returning stars have had varying levels of success but now we know a little more about their internal reception with possibly the most important person around. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Interested In Bringing In Two Former World Champions Back in December, a rumor speculated that WWE COO Triple H was unhappy with some of the stars who had been brought back into the company. However, in an update from Fightful Select, if there is any truth to this, WWE officials are downplaying the idea. It is said that even if Triple H were disappointed, he would never make this known, either publicly or privately. The wrestlers were said to be brought back to add depth to the roster, though some, such as Bronson Reed and Johnny Gargano, will be..
The build continues. There are all kinds of ways to set up a wrestling match, with some of them being a bit more unique than others. This can include various angles and moments between the wrestlers involve, some of which can take place in different areas. With the advent of various modern technology, it can be easier than ever to film something outside of an arena and that took place again this week. WWE NXT recruit Alexis Lete uploaded a video to her Instagram page where she talked about a series of drills. As she was talking, Grayson Waller and NXT Champion Bron Breakker got into an incident, which included Waller throwing a water bottle. This caused the two to get into a fight, with officials having to break it up. Waller is scheduled to challenge Breakker for the NXT Title at Vengeance Day on February 4. Things got intense. Might we see more? One of the defining traits of the Triple H era of WWE has been the return of several superstars that were released when Vince McMahon was in charge of the company. It would appear that more may be on the way. According to a report from Fightful Select, Chelsea Green has been under contract with WWE “for quite some time and is still awaiting creative.” This was after she was released from the company on April 15, 2021. Another indication that Green was headed to WWE was her recently shutting down her Onlyfans page. Green’s husband Matt Cardona, who competed as Zack Ryder in WWE, could be on his way back also; however, officials say that “Cardona is not signed, but that we shouldn’t rule anything out for the future.” Finally, Kylie Rae is reportedly still a free agent despite being brought in for a tryout and appearing on WWE Main Event. Editor’s Opinion: I, for one, would love to see Chelsea Green back. I always thought that she was incredibly talented and didn’t..

At some point some of them have to go and that makes for some timely absences. It also sets up some nice returns down the line though, as you can get see someone come back, often in a surprise. That was the situation again this week in a big way. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Special: Eric Bischoff Claims Brock Lesnar Has This Special Privilege In WWE Bobby Lashley made a surprise return this week on Monday Night Raw, announcing that his suspension was over and that he would be entering the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match. Earlier this week, it was reported by F4WOnline.com that Kevin Owens tweaked his knee during a WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend. The belief was that the injury was an MCL sprain,. However, Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Kevin Owens will be part of the Survivor Series WarGames match. CageSideSeats reported this morning that Owens is rehabbing his knee at the WWE Performance Center and was consulted by WWE doctors on Monday. The report also details that the former WWE Universal Champion is still traveling with WWE and his status for tonight’s SmackDown and other shows is unknown. Related: Kevin Owens Injured At WWE Live Event PWInsider is also claiming that Kevin Owens is scheduled for SmackDown for tonight and next week before Survivor Series. With the physical demands of a WarGames match, which he’s undoubtedly familiar, it’s unlikely that WWE officials will have him wrestling on the show. He’ll most likely be doing promo segments and maybe a scuffle leading to ..

With many notable talents returning to the company, Triple H has opened the rumor mill to many potential names who could make their return to WWE. He’s earned it. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works, as the company now allows several other wrestlers a top level platform. This has allowed various veterans to move up the ladder a lot faster than they would otherwise, which means giving fans some new stars on national television. Now we might be seeing another newcomer appear full time, if he is willing to say yes. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT; Pencil It Out: AEW Pulls Match From Full Gear, Reschedules It For Dynamite This week on AEW Dynamite, AR Fox made his AEW television debut when he teamed with Top Flight in a losing effort against Death Triangle. Following the match, Fox and Top Flight were interviewed backstage, during which Fox was told that he was being offered a full time AEW contract. While Fox has not signed the deal, according to Fightful Select, AEW officials expect him to do so. The news dropped on Monday that Triple H and WWE officials were interested in having Stone Cold Steve Austin do more with the company following his long awaited return to in-ring competition at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens. Since then, the internet continues to speculate on who the best opponent would be for The Texas Rattlesnake with WrestleMania 39 returning to Hollywood. Naturally, there are a handful of dream matches that would help sell out SoFi Stadium this April. The few names that have emerged from the rumor mill thus far include John Cena, The Rock and CM Punk. While they each have their own unique intrigue for the grandest stage of them all, The Nature Boy is ruling out a few of these big names himself. Related: How A Possible CM Punk WWE Return Is Being Received Backstage During his latest To Be The Man podcast on Wednesday, Ric Flair was asked about Austin’s next opponent and immediately didn’t see a potential WWE return and match with Stone Cold as a valid option ..
That could have gotten bad. There are a lot of issues that take place during a wrestling show but one of the most impressive things a company can do is keep the fans from knowing about them. Sometimes you can notice a problem here or there though and that was the case last week, to the point where a promotion’s officials had to make sure that everything was ok. Last week on AEW Dark, Athena defeated Jody Threat in a match that saw both of them get more aggressive than usual. According to Fightful Select, AEW officials spoke to both of the women backstage to make sure everything was ok after the match. Sources close to Athena believe that she switched into a heel role during the match because of the positive reaction that Threat received during the match. Threat was said to have no complaints as she tries to avoid the political side of wrestling. Neither woman was said to be upset about anything that happened and there was no confrontation backstage. Opinion: The good thing here is th..
You hate to see it. The main event of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured Jon Moxley defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Hangman Adam Page. Unfortunately, the match had to be stopped due to a serious injury suffered by Page during the match. Page landed on his head after a spot in which he took a lariat from Moxley. As soon as Page hit the ground, his body seemed to go limp and he wasn’t able to move. The referee and ringside doctor, Doc Sampson made the decision to stop the match with about 10 minutes remaining on the show. During a commercial break, several officials took down the ropes in order to take out Page on a stretcher. You can see a clip of that below: They are literally taking the ropes down to take hangman Adam page out of the ring on a stretcher. #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/9hwcUQSAuK — Marshall Lloyd ? Monday Night Raw Date: October 17, 2022 Location: Paycom Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Commentators: Corey Graves, Kevin Patrick We’re rapidly approaching Crown Jewel and WWE has the main event covered with Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns. That leaves some spots open for the rest of the card, some of which needs to be filled in soon. Odds are we’ll get some of that soon and you can probably guess some of the matches from here. Let’s get to it. We open with Bobby Lashley in the ring mid-promo, where he calls out Brock Lesnar. Cue Lesnar and they get in a fight before Lesnar can even make it to the ring, with Lashley getting posted on the floor. Lashley slips out of another posting and sends Lesnar into it instead. A spear through the barricade draws out wrestlers and officials to break it up but Lashley gets away. This time it’s Lesnar going through the announcers’ table (on the second attempt) to leave him laying. OC vs. Alpha Academy AJ Styles is here with the OC. Anderson ta..
They liked what they saw. NXT superstar Roxanne Perez made her main roster debut this past week on Smackdown, teaming with Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez to take on Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky of Damage Control. According to reports from both Wrestling News and PWInsider, WWE officials were very impressed with what they saw from Perez and plan on continuing to use her on the main roster again very soon. Perez has had quite the rise in professional wrestling since beginning her training at Booker T’s wrestling school at the age of 16. She debuted for Ring of Honor in April 2021 at the age of 19, winning the inaugural ROH Women’s World Championship and becoming the youngest female champion in company history. She would debut in NXT in April 2022 at the age of 20. Editor’s Opinion: There are some sueprstars that just have natural talent, and she appears to be one of them. I’ve always been a big fan of her work and now that she’s having the opportunity to show the world what she can d..
They might not be hitting the brakes. We are less than a month away from WWE Clash At The Castle, which will be one of the biggest shows that the company has run in a pretty long time. It will be the first stadium show in the United Kingdom in over thirty years and the show is going to need a big card. The main event has been set, and now we know an important detail about it. Clash At The Castle is scheduled to feature a main event of Drew McIntyre challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. The two had a faceoff last week on SmackDown, which was interrupted by the returning Karrion Kross. This led to speculation about Kross being added to the match, but according to Wrestling Observer Radio, Kross will not be added to the match. WWE officials feel that McIntyre vs. Reigns is the match that needs to headline the show. Opinion: I’m glad to hear about this as there is something a little annoying about having so many matches be a triple threat or multi person match...
They have a reason for that. Monday Night Raw and SmackDown are the biggest wrestling shows in modern times, with both being on the air for well over twenty years. They are institutions of WWE, but that does not mean things are always perfect. Both shows have some weird quirks at times and now we know both why one of them takes place, plus what some wrestlers think of it. Over the last few weeks, WWE has had wrestlers make their entrances on television but not have their matches start for sometimes over twenty minutes. Fightful Select has spoken to several WWE stars about the situation, with the wrestlers saying they found it annoying. They have complained to WWE officials, who told them that the delays improve the flow of the show. One wrestler said that they would spend the delay talking to the crowd and getting annoyed at having to wait around for so long. Opinion: I would love an explanation of how this helps the show flow, because all it does is make me forget that a wrestler is..
I hope it’s erasable ink. WWE has all kinds of television shows and you could quite easily say that there are too many of them. With so much television, it can be easy to see the lack of focus, but sometimes WWE will run a show that has a specific purpose. Now though, one of WWE’s most focused shows is ready for a replacement and it seems to be one that is long overdue. According to Wrestling Observer Live, WWE will be likely to change the name of 205 Live. The show is no longer live and now WWE officials do not want their champions to be under 205lbs. The show has featured non-cruiserweight matches for several weeks now, as it has focused on lower level NXT stars. There is no word on when the change would take place or what the new name would be. This change was referenced this week on NXT by Joe Gacy, though the show was not specifically named. 205 Live has had its moments. There she goes. According to a statement that was released via Twitter, AEW superstar Big Swole is leaving the company after the two parties mutually decided not to renew her contract. Swole had been part of the company since All Out 2019, where she competed in a 21-woman Casino Battle Royal. The statement reads as follows: Over the past couple of months my life has taken on the mantra grow, learn, change. Dealing with shadow work took strength I didn’t know I had. I think God for my loving family because they got me through some of the roughest months of my life. But I realized the real test is application. So I took my leap and after speaking with [Tony Khan] and AEW higher officials we’ve decided not to renew my contract with All Elite Wrestling. This was a hard decision but a needed one. I am grateful for their understanding and that we could mutually come to this agreement. I’ve enjoyed my time with AEW and wish them all the best. I appreciate their love and welcoming me into t..
More of the big one? There are certain wrestlers whose presence alone turns them into a star. That is not the kind of thing you get to see every day and it can be pretty awesome when it is done right. There are only a handful of wrestlers like that today, and now thanks to a change in their life behind the scenes, you might be getting to see more of them again in the future. According to PWInsider.com, NXT UK star Walter has recently changed his attitude about living in the United States. Over the last several years, WWE officials have attempted to get Walter to relocate to the United States but he has said no. It is not clear what has led to the change and there is nothing to suggest that Walter is coming to America full time at any point in the future. However, it now seems like a better possibility than ever before. This is a big deal. Now it’s official. We are just over three weeks away from WWE Extreme Rules, which will serve as the official followup pay per view to August’s Summerslam. As a result, you can expect a lot of rematches at the show, possibly with a bit more intensity. That will be the case with a Summerslam title match, and now it has officially been added to the Extreme Rules card. This week on SmackDown, Bianca Belair again challenged SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to a title match. Lynch turned her down for the second week in a row, saying the match would take place when she decided. WWE officials Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce told Lynch that the match would be taking place at Extreme Rules, with the contract signing being held on the September 10 SmackDown. The match will be a rematch from Summerslam, where Lynch made a surprise return and replaced Carmella, who was replacing Sasha Banks. Lynch went on to challenge and defeat Belair in less than thirty seconds. Belair went on to win a fou..
