12 Time World Champion Makes Surprise AEW Debut On Dynamite

That’s a surprise. AEW has come a long way in a short amount of time and a lot of that has to do with its roster. The company has put together a roster with wrestlers who are a mixture of current stars, young up and comers and veterans. The company does a lot to build up its roster and now they have added another former multiple time World Champion to the roster. Former NWA and Impact Wrestling World Champion Jeff Jarrett made his AEW debut this week on Dynamite, joining forces with Jay Lethal and company. Trevor Murdoch Once Punched Out Irate Fan To Save Randy Orton

That could have been a lot worse. Wrestlers have to do a lot of things right to make a match or event come together in the right way. Above all else, they are tasked with making fans care about them in one way or another, which can be rather difficult. At times, they can be too good at their job and a fan can take things a bit too far. A former WWE star has quite the story about how a fan got out of hand and had to be dealt with quickly. Former WWE star and reigning NWA World Champion Trevor Murdoch appeared on the 10 Count podcast and talked about a time in a hotel bar in Ireland with then WWE Champion Randy Orton. A fan came up to Orton and asked for an autograph, which Orton gave him. The fan then insisted on getting something else signed, which Orton declined and asked to be left alone. This caused the fan to go into a tirade against Orton, shouting about how the fans pay his salary. The fan was taken away by security but was waiting for Orton in the foyer later in the night. Mur..

What Made Vince McMahon Reportedly Say “I’m Sorry I Brought That A****** back.”

That takes something special. In the history of professional wrestling, there has never been anyone as powerful as Vince McMahon and there likely never will be again. McMahon ran the most dominant wrestling promotion in the world for several years and was the biggest influence on wrestling for a very long time. It was rare to see him admit a mistake, but we do know at least one time when he did so. In his new book “There’s Just One Problem…: True Tales from the Former, One-Time, 7th Most Powerful Person in WWE”, former WWE writer Brian Gerwitz told a story of McMahon rehiring Vince Russo as a member of the creative team in 2002. After hearing Russo talk about his ideas, McMahon apologized to the team and reportedly said “This isn’t going to work…I’m sorry I brought that a****** back.” Russo’s return to the company lasted less than a month before he signed with NWA-TNA. Opinion: McMahon is known to do a lot of things, but apologize is rarely one of them. It takes a lot for him to beli..

WWE NIL Signee Officially Charged With Sexual Battery, Warrant Issued For His Arrest

That’s a serious situation. Back in 2021, WWE announced the Next In Line program, which was designed to find non-wrestling athletes and bring them into the WWE system, with the chance of eventually becoming WWE stars. The program has brought in several prospects, but now one of them is facing some very serious legal issues that could change his career path in a huge way. According to the Oklahoman, WWE NIL signee and former Oklahoma State University wrestler AJ Ferrari is facing a charge of felony sexual battery with a warrant being issued for his arrest. Ferrari was accused of holding a woman down in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 2 and performing unwanted sexual acts on her. The woman filed an emergency protective order against Ferrari three days later. WWE has not commented on the situation or on Ferrari’s future with the NIL program. Opinion: That is a very serious charge and if the accusations against him are true, I cannot imagine he is going to have much of a future with WWE. Fe..

Office vs. Locker Room: Backstage Issues Reportedly Causing Issues In NWA

They might need counseling. There are a lot of wrestling promotions throughout the world and some of them are rather prominent. These are the promotions that have been around for a very long time now and a lot of people have heard of them over the years. It turns out that the modern version of one of the most famous promotions in history might not be going so well. On August 28, the NWA will present its 74th anniversary show, featuring Tyrus challenging Trevor Murdoch for the NWA World Title. This comes after NWA owner Billy Corgan pulled Nick Aldis from the match. The two have both commented on the situation, with Corgan blaming Aldis’ attitude. According to PWInsider.com, there is some truth to the storyline comments, as Aldis has been critical of Corgan’s creative direction of the NWA. This has resulted in heat on Aldis for promoting himself as bigger than the NWA itself. Aldis is still expected to wrestle at the show with a new opponent to be named. ?? JUST ANNOUNCED: @Billy has ..

Crossover? NXT Fight Takes Place Backstage At WWE SmackDown

You have to get it in where you can. There are several WWE shows every single week with each one looking at a different core of wrestlers. This includes both main roster shows as well as NXT, which has its own world and group of stars. It can be interesting to see someone from NXT get involved with something on the main roster and now that has happened again (kind of). The NXT Twitter account has released a photo of a brawl that took place between Solo Sikoa and Von Wagner at last week’s SmackDown taping. The two have been feuding in NXT and it is unlikely that the brawl suggests that the two are being called up. Instead, the fight was likely held at SmackDown due to the show being taped near the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The footage will likely air on this week’s NXT. On Friday night there was an altercation between @WWEVonWagner and @WWESoloSikoa at #SmackDown. Tune in this Tuesday on #WWENXT at 8/7 C on @USA_Network to see what went down! pic.twitter.com/nH8Q7kJTd0 ..
