WATCH: Naomi And Mercedes Mone Appear Together In New Advertisement

They’re still a thing. Nine months ago, Naomi and Mercedes Mone (then Sasha Banks) walked out on WWE on the same night, vacating their Women’s Tag Team Titles in the process. That is the kind of career altering change that you do not see a wrestler deal with very often, but the two seemed united in what they were doing. Now we will get to see them united again in a very different world. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Maybe Later: How WWE Nixed Plans To Bring Back Finn Balor’s Demon The Bar Rescue Twitter account has sent out a video advertising an upcoming episode. Maybe Later: How WWE Nixed Plans To Bring Back Finn Balor’s Demon

That would have been different. One of the most complicated aspects of wrestling is to make sure that the most important material is used at the right time. A promotion has to build things up over time and then pay it off when everything is ready. WWE is no exception, and now we know that they hit the brakes instead of letting someone make a special return. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Swap: Trish Stratus Reportedly At Monday Night Raw, Not Used As Planned According to Fightful Select, WWE had originally planned to bring back Finn Balor’s Demon persona at the Royal Rumble. The Demon would have fought Edge, possibly inside Hell In A Cell. However, due to Edge’s filming schedule, WWE went with the mixed tag instead. In addition, some people who were asked about the plans were unsure if the Demon would fit in with the current version of Balor. There is no word on if the Demon will return anytime soon. In case you forgot. Check out what the Demon is all about: [This post contains video, clic..

Former WWE Star Claims Hulk Hogan Nixed Early Randy Savage WWF Title Plans

There’s a game changer. It takes a special kind of star to rise to the top of WWE. Getting there is not easy and it often means making moves that hurt some people in the process. This might not be the nicest thing in the world, but it is the kind of thing that happens with almost every top star. Now a former WWE name is telling a story about one of the biggest stars WWE has ever seen. During the latest episode of his podcast, former WWE star Mario Mancini told a story about then booker George Scott wanting Randy Savage to win the then WWF Title from Hulk Hogan in 1985. According to Mancini, Hogan did not take kindly to the idea and had Vince McMahon fire Scott as a result. Mancini also said that his career would have been very different had Scott remained as booker, though he did not explain why. Savage would go on to win the title three years later at WrestleMania IV. Opinion: I’m never sure what to think about situations like this, as while it does make Hogan look like he was out f..

WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Nixed Huge WrestleMania Main Event, May Try It Later

It kind of writes itself. There are certain groups of wrestlers who might not be officially recognized together on screen but have a real connection. That was the case with the Kliq and the Bone Street Krew, but it is also the case in modern wrestling. Sometimes this spills over onto television as well and it almost did again in a major way on the biggest show of the year. According to Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport, WWE considered a fatal four way match between Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley, collectively known as the Four Horsewomen, for WrestleMania 38. However, the plan was scrapped primarily because of Ronda Rousey, who decided she was ready to return to WWE and was put in a WrestleMania title match instead. In addition, the feud between Lynch and Bianca Belair is also scheduled to end in their title match at WrestleMania. WWE is still interested in running the match at some point in the future. Opinion: This really is one of those matches that writes itself and I ..

Brock Lesnar Nixed A Planned Champion vs. Champion Match

That’s going to be a no. WWE is a huge company with a lot of different moving parts, but there are always going to be some things that do not make the most sense. Some of these instances involve plans that seem to change at the last minute, which was the case with a major match just a few years ago. The match never took place, and now we know the simple reason why. Jinder Mahal won the WWE Title in May 2017 and held it until November of the same year, ultimately losing it to AJ Styles. The loss canceled a scheduled match between Mahal and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the last minute change was due to the fact that Lesnar did not want to work with Mahal. Lesnar went on to defeat Styles at Survivor Series. It wound up going well. WRESTLING RUMORS: Vince McMahon Nixed NXT Call Up After One Night

The boss wasn’t a fan. Vince McMahon is a lot of things but ultimately he has the final say in what takes place in WWE. That makes him an amazingly powerful person and any decision that he makes can make or break a career. McMahon is also known for some rather fast paced changes, one of which seems to have altered a new star’s career before it got a chance to start. NXT’s Von Wagner appeared on the November 12 edition of SmackDown, standing next to Adam Pearce in his office. The appearance came after McMahon felt that Pearce needed a bodyguard, but Wagner did not appear again. According to Ringsidenews.com, the angle was dropped simply because McMahon did not like it. Wagner did not speak or do anything physical during the appearance, nor was he mentioned by name. He has since returned to NXT full time. Wagner could be a big deal on WWE TV.
