WATCH: AEW’s CM Punk Appears On ESPN SportsNation

He has something to say. There are a lot of wrestlers who are known for their in-ring abilities while others are known for their talking. Very rarely do you see someone who is excellent at both and it makes sense to have those people as the focal point of a promotion. That is the case with modern wrestling as well, and now one of them is getting some extra attention. AEW’s CM Punk appeared on ESPN’s SportsNation and discussed his time in AEW so far. In addition, Punk spoke about his debut, as well as some of the younger names that he is looking forward to working with in the future. Punk also spoke about his promo insulting the NHL’s New York Islanders and his thoughts on boxing and combat sports stars coming into professional wrestling. It was an interesting interview. Major Update On NXT Possibly Moving To Tuesdays

Warm up the moving van? The Wednesday Night Wars have been one of the more interesting wrestling stories over the last year and a half and that is hardly a surprise. The battle between NXT and AEW Dynamite has given fans a miniature version of the drama of the Monday Night Wars, though this one has been a bit more one sided. Things are still changing and now it might be the big finale. One of the problems with the Wednesday Night Wars is having a pair of two hour shows taking place on the same night at the same time. It can make for a very long night and that is going to take away some of the impact a fan can have from watching the second show. It makes sense for one company to want to counter the other, but that may no longer be the case. According to PWInsider, NXT is still scheduled to move to Tuesday nights starting on April 13. This comes after the NHL and NBC Sports had come to an impasse regarding negotiations on a television rights package. However, the move is taking place a..

The two night WrestleMania event will be the biggest nights of the year but they are not the only times of the season that matter. In addition, WWE beefs up its television around the same time and now we might be seeing something else. The WWE television situation has been rather interesting in the last few years as NXT has been moved up to the same level as Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. At the same time, NXT has been going head to head with AEW Dynamite every Wednesday night for about a year and a half. That has made for some interesting situations, but one of them seems ready to be finished. According to Wrestling Observer Live, reports of NXT moving to Tuesday nights starting on April 13 are true and the move is considered a “done deal”. The move is coming after news from earlier this year that the NHL is likely coming to the USA Network o..

WrestleMania 36 is one of many events affected by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. NBA, NCAA, MLB, and NHL have all made precautions, by either postponing, having empty arena events, or canceling events altogether. For instance, while the initial decision was to have the NCAA March Madness tournament televised in empty arenas, it was changed to canceling the entire tournament (as well as the conference championship games) altogether. After a case was confirmed from Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, all further NBA games were suspended. WWE has taken precautions by now having their events in empty arenas. The last event where a crowd was involved was last week’s NXT television event at the WWE Performance Center. Since then, future events will be held in an empty arena at the WWE PC until further notice, such as last week’s SmackDown, and the “3:16 Day” episode of Raw. For WrestleMania 36, this may also be the case. TMZ has recently reported that WrestleMania is still on the books for..
