Uso-No: Injury Update On Jey Uso

No matter what they are doing, they can be cut off out of nowhere in the blink of an eye and unfortunately it can happen to anyone. Unfortunately that is the case with a current WWE star, whose injury is a bit different than previously thought. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Jey Uso Injured, MRI Set For Next Week Last week during a European tour, Jey Uso injured his hand during a match but the extent of the damage was not clear. This week on SmackDown, Michael Cole revealed that Uso had undergone an X-Ray and while there was broken bone, there was a chance of some ligament damage. Jey Uso Injured, MRI Set For Next Week

That’s a rough way to go. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any wrestling match and unfortunately there is little way around it. A wrestler can get hurt doing the simplest of moves and it can derail plans for a very long time to come. It can happen to anyone, including a champion, which seems to be the case again as a reigning WWE champion is having an issue. This weekend at WWE Crown Jewel, it was announced that Jey Uso believed he had broken his wrist during a live event during the week. Uso is expected to undergo an MRI on his wrist on Monday to gauge the severity of his injury. Uso and his brother Jimmy retained the WWE Tag Team Titles over the Brawling Brutes. They are set to defend the titles against the New Day next week on SmackDown. It is not clear if the injury is legitimate or part of a storyline. World Champion Confirms Torn Bicep, To Undergo Surgery

Ouch. There are all kinds of ways that wrestlers can get hurt and some of them can be rather devastating. Some of them can leave a wrestler on the sidelines for a long time, which can cause all kinds of other issues. A serious injury that leaves a wrestler hurt for a long time can mean some decisions have to be made about the future, which might be the case again. Over the weekend, NWA World Champion Matt Cardona posted a tweet saying that he thought he tore his bicep during a match against Blake Christian at a GCW event. Cardona has confirmed that he has since undergone an MRI and confirmed that his bicep has been torn and will require surgery. As a result, Cardona will be forced to miss some dates, though it is not known how long he will be out of action. It is also not known what will happen to the championships he currently holds. Omos Reveals His One Of A Kind Medical Issues

That sounds worse. Wrestlers are larger than life characters with personalities that are often over the top and meant to be as big as possible. That can often come with bodies that are literally larger than most, as you see some wrestlers who dwarf most normal people. However, those wrestlers have their own issues, and now one of the biggest wrestlers ever has revealed some previous problems. During a recent appearance on the Out Of Character podcast, Monday Night Raw star Omos revealed that he had a brain tumor removed when he was 18 years old. Omos was playing college basketball at the time when an MRI revealed the tumor. As he was getting ready to have the tumor removed, he was diagnosed with partial Cushing’s Disease. Omos said that he was the first person ever recorded with a tumor on his pituitary gland, a brain tumor and Cushing’s Disease, which resulted in a medical journal article about his case. Details On Natalya’s Injury, Including Surgery

That’s a relief. Injuries can be devastating to both wrestlers and wrestling companies. They can derail plans, but far more importantly they can derail careers. A wrestler might never be the same after an injury and it can stop everything they are doing at a moment’s notice. Finding out how bad things are can be a rather scary process, but we might be getting some good news this time around. Natalya suffered some sort of a leg injury during this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. Her knee gave out during a tag match and she did not return to the ring. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Natalya suffered an ankle injury, but an MRI revealed that the damage was “better than expected”. Natalya is expected to be out for a few weeks, meaning that WWE will not have to vacate the Women’s Tag Team Titles. That can make for a scary situation and unfortunately that was the case for one of the biggest stars in the world earlier this month. Now we know a bit more about the situation. Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay tweeted out an update on his condition after suffering a neck injury earlier this month. According to the update, Ospreay spoke to his physio and will be undergoing another MRI on his lower back. There is a chance that his back has suffered the same sort of injury as his neck, though Ospreay did not specify what is wrong. Ospreay injured his neck during a match against Shingo Tagaki on May 4 and was forced to vacate the title as a result. There is no word on what New Japan will be doing to crown a new champion. <p>PWInsider reports that Chris Adonis (former WWE Superstar Chris Masters) suffered an injury during Monday’s Impact tapings in Mumbai, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/india/" title="India">India</a></strong>.</p><p>It’s being said that Adonis went to a local hospital to get an MRI but it’s currently unknown exactly what injury he had suffered.
