A totally different way to go. With less than three weeks to go before WrestleMania 39, there is only so much time left to get everything set for the show. That can make for some last minute problems, especially if something comes up that causes an issue. It’s possible that is the case again, and it could have a rather big impact on what we are seeing at WrestleMania. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Try Again: Update On WWE Pitching WrestleMania 39 Ideas To Steve Austin One of the bigger wrestling stories at the moment is the status of Bray Wyatt. While Wyatt has reportedly been dealing with a medical issue, Wyatt has been dealing with Bobby Lashley in recent weeks. However, on Monday, Lashley sent out a tweet talking about how he had worked too had and is willing to face anyone at WrestleMania. There was no mention of Wyatt, suggesting that WWE is moving on to something else for the WrestleMania match. This is NOT seen as a fact but rather speculation at this point. I’ve worked too hard to ..
The battle continues. AEW coming into the wrestling world has changed the industry as there is now a new place for various stars to go. This also means that there are going to be stars who are going to be pursued by both companies. It can lead to some wrestlers moving around in one way or another, and now an AEW star seems to be at least interested in jumping ship. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Wardlow Reveals The TNT Title Has Been Stolen (Along With The Rest Of His Stuff) According to Fightful Select, Brian Cage’s deal with AEW is expiring soon but the two sides have agreed to work with each other through the end of March. This will include Ring Of Honor’s Supercard of Honor, as Cage is one third of the Ring Of Honor Six Man Tag Team Champions. There is still a chance of the two sides coming to terms on an extension, with names such as Chris Jericho hoping to keep Cage in the company. WWE is said to be interested in signing Cage as well, though there is no word on where Cage is lea..
To the other side. With so much television time to fill in WWE, it can be easy for some of the company’s stars to start feeling stale. At some point a change needs to be made and that can be accomplished in a few different ways. One of the easiest is to turn someone either from good to bad or vice versa, and it seems that we saw that take place earlier this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Fits: Important Details On Next WWE Event In Saudi Arabia, Possible AEW Competition Following the February 10 SmackDown, WWE released a video of Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio backstage after they both took part in a fatal four way. The two talked about respect and exchanged masks. This week, the two were backstage when Rhea Ripley and Rey’s son Dominik interrupted and insulted Rey. Escobar defended Rey and seemed to set up a match with Dominik. This would indicate that Escobar is moving further towards a full babyface turn, which would be a first in his WWE career. There is no word on what this wo..
They’re gone too. WWE has such a big roster of talent that they can move wrestlers from one show to another without much trouble. It is the kind of thing that you do not get to see happen very often but WWE knows how to move things around quickly. That is what they did with three names on Monday, but it turns out that is not the only move that has been made on the same day. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Cha Ching: How WWE Made A Million Dollars In About Five Minutes Earlier this week, all three of the Maximum Male Models were moved from SmackDown over to Monday Night Raw. This came after the Models appeared last week for an angle on Monday Night Raw. There is no word on why the move was made or if any more moves are expected. That is more talent moving. That’s the big one. We are just over two weeks away from Elimination Chamber, which is the final stop on the Road To WrestleMania 39. The show will feature a pair of the event’s namesake matches, which will feature twelve wrestlers between the pair. That should be enough to carry the show, but now we have something else to add to the card which should be even bigger. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: So Close: Former WWE Star Opens Up On Nearly Winning World Title, Moving Forward The show closing angle from the Royal Rumble saw Sami Zayn turn on the Bloodline by hitting Roman Reigns in the back with a chair. Zayn attacked Reigns again the following week on SmackDown and challenged him for a title match at Elimination Chamber. The Bloodline attacked Zayn, allowing Reigns to yell at him in the corner, accepting the match in the process. WWE officially confirmed the match later that night. This is going to be a big one. Check out the angle and some of Zayn’s better moments: [This post contains v..
It was a change. Titles are the most important part of any wrestling promotion. They are often the focal point of anything the company is doing as well as showcasing the top stars. Fans understand the idea of a wrestler holding the title being one of the top names around so a title change means a great deal. Occasionally plans change though and now a former WWE star is opening up about what could have been. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Almost Time: Samoa Joe Opens Up About Possible Retirement From Wrestling Former WWE and current NWA star Aron Stevens, formerly known as Damien Sandow, was a guest on the Ten Count podcast and discussed his failed Money In The Bank cash-in attempt against John Cena in 2013. Maybe later. We are less than three months away from WrestleMania 39 and that means it is time to start hammering down the card for the show. With so many moving parts to the whole thing, WrestleMania can be very difficult to put together, but WWE does have some ideas in place. However, it seems that they may have known that one big match was not going to take place for some time. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Karrion Kross’ Very Odd Video With Wrestling Legend Earlier this week, a report came out that the Rock did not feel he could get in ring shape in time to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE may have known that Rock was not going to be able to do the match months ago. However, there is always a chance of a swerve, as Rock may have only told his real status to a few people. Those in WWE have reportedly said “it’s not looking good” for Rock to wrestle. There is nothing to suggest that Rock will be appearing on WWE TV anytime soon. Rock..
The roster grows. WWE has a roster with enough talent to fill up three weekly television shows, but those wrestlers have to be kept moving. At some point the roster is going to get a bit stale and needs some fresh blood, which is why WWE also brings in fresh talent every so often. Now they are doing that again, this time from other sports outside of professional wrestling. So maybe not? We are in a very strange time for WWE as things are moving so fast that it is hard to keep track of everything. The difference this time is that it is at the very top of the promotion, with the future ownership being questioned. Maybe? There are a lot of moving pieces in WWE at the moment and it can be difficult to keep track of what is going on from time to time. That didn’t take long. To say that WWE is rapidly changing at this point would be a huge understatement as the major backstage pieces keep moving around. Welcome home. There were a lot of changes to the WWE landscape in 2022 and there is nothing to suggest that those changes will be ending in the new year. Maybe they’re next? WWE has a lot of talented stars up and down their roster, but the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown rosters are firmly above NXT. It’s something for them. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can be difficult for the company to find something for all of them to do. Maybe or not. We are just over three months away from WrestleMania 39 and that means WWE is starting to put together its plans for the biggest event of the year. Moving up in the world. As previously reported, William Regal is returning to WWE after his contract expires with AEW this month. However, it seems he will be returning to a different role than before. According to a report from PWInsider, Regal will have a Vice President position in the company when he returns, but it is not yet known what his official title/role will be. He will return to the company beginning in January 2023. Regal was written off of AEW television a couple of weeks ago when MJF knocked him out with the same brass knuckles that Regal gave him to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Further according to Tony Khan, Regal can return to WWE and coach but not be an on-air personality in 2023. Editor’s Opinion: This is great news for everyone involved and a perfect role for him. He is one of the greatest wrestling minds of the last 40 years and everybody that is around him will benefit from his experience. He knows how to work with talent, executives, and peopl..
