In spite of the show’s title, the Elimination Chamber matches are far, far down the ladder in importance from the main event, which should have one of the most electric atmospheres WWE has seen in years. Let’s get to it. The opening video looks at the Chamber matches, before shifting to the Zayn vs. Reigns main event. Women’s Elimination Chamber The winner moves on to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Title at Wrestlemania and there is no word on the length of intervals. That’s a rough way to go. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any wrestling match and unfortunately there is little way around it. A wrestler can get hurt doing the simplest of moves and it can derail plans for a very long time to come. It can happen to anyone, including a champion, which seems to be the case again as a reigning WWE champion is having an issue. This weekend at WWE Crown Jewel, it was announced that Jey Uso believed he had broken his wrist during a live event during the week. Uso is expected to undergo an MRI on his wrist on Monday to gauge the severity of his injury. Uso and his brother Jimmy retained the WWE Tag Team Titles over the Brawling Brutes. They are set to defend the titles against the New Day next week on SmackDown. It is not clear if the injury is legitimate or part of a storyline. One of the most common stories that you will see is a betrayal of a friendship, where one wrestler turns on his partner and friend out of nowhere. WWE had plans to do that again on a big scale but now an injury has changed those plans in a big way. Back in May, Randy Orton was forced to take time away from WWE due to a serious back injury. During his absence, Orton’s partner Matt Riddle has continued to talk about Orton as well as using his signature moves. According to WrestleVotes during an interview with GiveMeSport, the original plan for Orton’s return would have seen him turn on Riddle the night he came back. Having the right signature move is the kind of thing that can make anyone look like a star but even then it has to be done in a certain way. At some point different people are going to wind up using the same moves as others, and now one of the biggest stars in wrestling history doesn’t like how another star uses his signature move. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg appeared on the Roman Atwood podcast where he talked about Roman Reigns using the spear. According to Goldberg, Reigns has said that it is stupid to go out and hit someone hard, though Goldberg says if you can hit someone hard and not hurt them it’s pretty smart.
