Kingston revealed that he suffered some sort of foot injury, which according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, took place when Drew McIntyre dove onto him during a brawl. LOOK: AEW’s Dax Harwood Drops Huge Tease About Possible Future With WWE
That would be a change. The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works, as now WWE has another big budget wrestling promotion to deal with on the national stage. In addition, AEW has allowed wrestlers to have another place to go, which has led to some interesting situations. Now a current AEW star seems to be teasing a jump back to WWE after a rather nasty exit. Back in June 2020, FTR left WWE (where they had been known as the Revival), following a six year run with the company. The team has since moved over to AEW, where they are former Tag Team Champions. Dax Harwood has since announced that the team will be sitting out until their AEW contracts expire at the end of April. This week, Harwood posted a new Instagram story, which shows a piece of paper featuring a WWE logo. Nowhere is safe anymore. Following last night’s NXT: Vengeance Day premium live event, Shawn Michaels did a media conference call to discuss the show. However, he was not alone, as Grayson Waller decided to make his feelings known. Waller interrupted Michaels during the call and shared his frustrations about not being HBK’s guy. Waller felt that Carmelo Hayes has taken that place, as was shown in the final moments of the show. Matt Bloom ended up entering the room and removed Waller before he took things too far. They aren’t happy. This week’s WWE Monday Night Raw was a special edition focusing on thirty years of the show. That is the kind of milestone that no wrestling show reaches, especially not as one of the biggest wrestling shows in the world throughout its run. It meant something to be associated with the show and now two legends are taking issue with something that wasn’t involved. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Dem Boy? Update On Mark Briscoe Possibly Appearing On AEW TV The Bella Twins had been previously advertised for Raw XXX but were later removed and ultimately did not appear on the show. The Twins recorded a live Instagram stream after the show was over, talking about how there was little mention of the Women’s Revolution and saying WWE could not mention Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) because she is too popular. Something Positive: Excellent News On The Recovery Of Jay Briscoes’ Daughters
That’s a big step. The saddest wrestling story of the year so far has been the passing of Jay Briscoe, who was killed in a car crash earlier this week. Briscoe’s death was horrible enough, but on top of that, his two daughters were severely injured as well. Now though there is an update on their conditions and in this case, it is something much more positive for a change. Josh Wharton, a family friend of the Briscoes, uploaded a live stream on Friday with an update on Briscoe’s daughters. Gracie, 12 years old, regained movement in her lower limbs for the first time since the accident. She has also been removed from her IV medication and is recovering. Jayleigh, 9 years old, is now in a back brace and should be able to recover from her injuries over the next several weeks. The hospital had hoped that her NG tube could be removed on Saturday, allowing her to eat and drink as normal. Here is something a bit easier to take. You have to hang it up sometime. There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the industry but one thing they have in common is they all have to stop wrestling at some point.
