REVIEW: Elimination Chamber 2018: Wrap It Up Already

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Elimination Chamber 2018 Date: February 25, 2018 Location: T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Jonathan Coachman We’re only two stops away from Wrestlemania now because it just wouldn’t be right to not squeeze in a pair of pay per views between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. Tonight is a show of pretty predictable endings but at least the Elimination Chamber matches themselves should be a lot of fun. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Anderson and Gallows vs. Miztourage Axe..

EXCLUSIVE SPOILERS For WWE Raw 4/16/18: Some Planned Superstar Shakeup Names

WWE is headed for another big week, with their Superstar Shakeup going down. As first revealed on FightfulSelect.com, Dolph Ziggler will debut for the Raw brand in tonight's Superstar Shakeup. Ziggler has spent time on the Smackdown Live brand, but has been without much direction, despite becoming a WWE United States Champion late last year. Despite neither winning their match last week on WWE Raw, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will both appear on Raw again this week to participate in a ten-man tag team main event. They'll team with the Miztourage against Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley and a star who will appear during the Miz TV segment tonight. Also set to switch brands are the duo of Fandango and Tyler Breeze, collectively known as Breezango, and sometimes the Fashion Police. There is also a gap on the script rundown where Mandy Rose's opponent is supposed to be, so look for a new face to pop up there, as well. You can hear all about tonight&..

Jeff Hardy Makes His Return To WWE Raw

Jeff Hardy is back on WWE television after missing several months with a shoulder injury. Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy returned to WWE Raw on the April 9 edition, inserting himself into the WWE Intercontinental Title picture. He came to the aid of both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, who were outnumbered by The Miztourage during an in-ring segment. Hardy was sidelined back in September, after sustaining an injury at the July Great Balls of Fire Iron Man tag team match. Since then, his brother Matt has been "woken" and embroiled in a feud with Bray Wyatt. It would appear based on the booking of the last two nights, Jeff and Matt are headed their separate ways on WWE TV. Hardy himself is a four-time Intercontinental champion, and quietly among the most decorated pro wrestlers in history, also winning the WWE, World Heavyweight, Hardcore, European, Light Heavyweight, TNA World Heavyweight championships, and winning tag team titles for WWE, Raw, WCW, Ring of Honor and TNA. Intercontinental Title Match Set for “Wrestlemania XXXIV”

And we have a match! Coming out of last week’s “Monday Night Raw”, it wasn’t clear who would be challenging the Miz for the Intercontinental Title at “Wrestlemania XXXIV”. Both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins pinned Miz last week but no match was officially made. That changed this week. Here’s how Rollins beat Miz. [This post contains video, click to play] As announced on this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, both Balor and Rollins will be receiving a shot in a triple threat match. The announcement came after the two of them defeated Miz and the Miztourage in a handicap match. Rollins pinned Miz to win the match after a Curb Stomp. You can read this week’s full results here. Opinion: This wasn’t the biggest surprise in the world but what I’m really hoping is that they don’t add anyone else. There’s no need to make the match even bigger, especially when you already have enough people. Just let it be the three people already involved in the storyline and go from there. I could s..
