Keeping it in the family. Last year, Brian Christopher, better known as Grandmaster Sexay, passed away at the age of forty six. Their dance act was rather popular, and that popularity continues to this day and this weekend in particular. On Saturday night, Christopher’s father Jerry Lawler and former partner Rikishi appeared at a Memphis Grizzlies game for part of their Grind City Wrestling night. Rikishi and Lawler performed the Too Cool dance on the court, with Lawler performing Christopher’s part. Before the dance, Rikishi talked about how Christopher was his friend and Lawler said it would be an honor to take his son’s part. The thing of it is, 40 years is good. It was a dream of mine as a kid. I spoke to an elementary school today. Yeah, I told those kids if they have a dream and a desire and a passion than they can accomplish those dreams. I mean that. Yeah, I want to tell every child that. I had a chance to live a dream. Not only that, sir, but I got a chance to go further than I ever thought that I could.” On being paired with Tommy Rogers for the “Fantastics” team: “Well, Tommy and I met in Memphis, TN for Jerry Jarrett’s company.
Lawler is joined on today’s show by his co-host Glenn Moore.

Lawler informs that he injured his knee recently and it might require some attention in the near future. He recently visited a doctor with his son and the doctor told him that his son’s knees are three times worse than his, and his son is looking at a double knee replacement surgery. Lawler says that Elizabeth was a tremendous talent both as a valet and as an in-ring worker.
