AEW Rampage Results – February 3, 2023

Rampage Date: February 3, 2023 Location: Nutter Center, Dayton, Ohio Commentators: Chris Jericho, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur Rampage continues to be a bit all over the place as you know most of the card/lineup in advance but it still feels like a show that could go in a bunch of different directions. That could be the case again this week as there is some star power with the Elite around to defend the Trios Titles. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Trios Titles: Elite vs. Isiah Kassidy/Matt Hardy/Ethan Page The Elite is defending and for the sake of simplicity, Matt Hardy will be referred to as Hardy and Matt Jackson will be referred to as Matt. Nick Jackson and Kassidy trade some flips and takedowns to start before Matt comes in to take over. Kassidy gets over to Hardy for the tag, so Omega gets the overly dramatic tag. Hardy sends Omega outside and goes up but Page tags himself in to take over instead. Omega snaps off a hurricanrana and it’s the Bucks coming back in for..

That Could Be Serious: AEW Star Suffers Neck Stinger On Dynamite

They did it again. Wrestling is a rather dangerous sport no matter how it is presented. The amount of time in the ring, training and experience that someone has does not make someone immune from an injury and it can happen at any time. There are injuries that are built up over time and there are injuries that take place all at once. The latter was the case this week. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks suffered a stinger during the main event of this week’s edition of Dynamite. The match was a triple threat with the Young Bucks defending the AEW Tag Team Titles against Keith Lee/Swerve Strickland and Team Taz. Early in the match, Lee and Powerhouse Hobbs suplexed Jackson, resulting in him jarring his neck and causing him to wrestle slowly for the rest of the match. There was nothing wrong with the suplex, as Matt has a history of neck issues due to years of wear and tear. There is no word on how long he might be out of action, if at all. Opinion: Th..

Another AEW Star Has Tested Positive For The Coronavirus

That’s never good to hear. The Coronavirus pandemic has changed the way the wrestling world works and that is likely to be the case for a very long time to come. The virus is spiking again with hundreds of thousands of cases in America a day. It is no surprise that the wrestling world will be impacted as well and now another wrestling star has contracted the virus. The Young Bucks have updated the biography on their Twitter account, revealing that Matt Jackson has tested positive for the Coronavirus. There is no word on when Jackson will be returning to AEW television, though neither he nor the Young Bucks are scheduled for a match on this week’s AEW Dynamite or Rampage. The team did appear on last week’s edition of Dynamite. pic.twitter.com/Xiwz7PSmbh — Young Bucks Bio (@bio_bucks) January 5, 2022 The Bucks are a rather good team. Why Was Nick Jackson Not at AEW Dynamite This Week?

He gets a pass. One of the most exciting parts of AEW is the presence of the Elite, which includes The Young Bucks. Nick and Matt Jackson are two of the most talented wrestlers in the world, however, fans noticed that Nick was missing from Dynamite this week. Why was that the case? According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Nick Jackson’s wife is about to give birth to the couple’s third child. As a result, he was not on television and won’t be back until she gives birth. He was written off of television at their recent “Revolution” pay-per-view, as AEW has said that he was injured. However, the tag team match with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega & “Hangman” Adam Page was going to be his last until his wife has given birth. Check out the Young Bucks in action: We at Wrestling Rumors send our congratulations to the Jackson family as they prepare to welcome their new bundle of joy into the world! The Young Bucks Discuss The End Of Being The Elite And Why They Do The Show

The Young Bucks say they are considering the options regarding Being the Elite. Last week, episode 100 of Being the Elite was uploaded to YouTube with the title "Finale." In an interview with Sporting News, both Matt and Nick Jackson mentioned episode 100 could be the end of the series but did not definitively say if that will be the case. “I think it’s poetic if we did end it at 100 episodes. But everyone else says we shouldn't,” said Nick Jackson. “We’re like, man, 100 episodes, we can end it when it’s the hottest. It almost feels like we should end it,” said Matt Jackson. Even though the Young Bucks are given input on their work in the Bullet Club, they enjoy the one hundred percent control of the Being the Elite show. “It’s also control of your own destiny of your own career. You don’t know how you’re going to be booked in Ring of Honor or New Japan. We have influence, but we don’t have final say. With this show, we’re the writers, the actors and the editors,” said M..

The Young Bucks on Proving People Wrong, ‘Being the Elite,’ ‘Too Sweet’

The Young Bucks were interviewed on Sports Illustrated’s ‘Extra Mustard’ section on proving people wrong, losing ‘too sweet’ and the success of ‘Being The Elite.’ Matt Jackson explains how they’ve been proving people wrong. “We’ve made a career out of working with a chip on our shoulder. Maybe that’s why we work so hard? To prove others wrong? The pool of doubters has thinned in recent years, but it’s definitely still around.” He continues, commenting on people saying the Bullet Club has peaked and losing ‘too sweet’ was supposed to be the end for them. “People said our careers were over when the ‘Too Sweet’ hand gesture was taken from us. Now, it doesn’t even feel strange not doing it. People said we only knew how to work one style. Then we switched it up completely. People said Bullet Club had peaked for years now. Yet, here we are, as we continue to help it stay interesting and popular.” Nick Jackson comments on ‘Being The Elite.’ “I always knew it was going to be big for us, b..
