Bray Wyatt Dealing With Physical Issue

That could be a problem. It was previously reported that Bray Wyatt missed a scheduled live event appearance at Madison Square Garden over the weekend, along with missing Smackdown this past week. Some new information may give some clues as to why this happened. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Wyatt has an undisclosed “physical issue” and is currently out of action. It is unknown at this time. What exactly the issue is, and how long he will be away from WWE. Earlier this week, it was reported by F4WOnline.com that Kevin Owens tweaked his knee during a WWE live event in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend. The belief was that the injury was an MCL sprain,. However, Dave Meltzer has confirmed that Kevin Owens will be part of the Survivor Series WarGames match. CageSideSeats reported this morning that Owens is rehabbing his knee at the WWE Performance Center and was consulted by WWE doctors on Monday. The report also details that the former WWE Universal Champion is still traveling with WWE and his status for tonight’s SmackDown and other shows is unknown. Matt Cardona On Possible WWE Return: “Always Ready For Any Opportunity”

He’d take a call. There have been a lot of returns to WWE over the last few months and a lot of that has been credited to the new regime in charge of the company. As a result of Vince McMahon losing power in the company, some wrestlers who have left the company have been willing to consider a return. Now another company might be interested should the right offer come up. During a new interview with Metro, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, said that while he does not want to return to WWE, he would be willing to take a phone call. Cardona said that right now, he is focused on having the most fun and making the most money possible. However, he does want to wrestle in Madison Square Garden again and have another WrestleMania moment. In addition, Cardona issued a statement to Wrestling Inc., saying that he was busy with other projects but was “Alwayz Ready” for any opportunity. Other than that, we have a street fight this week between Keith Lee/Swerve Strickland and Josh Woods/Tony Nese, after Woods attacked Lee last week. Jade Cargill’s Next Challenger Revealed

She’s that…person. On tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, it was revealed who will be the next challenger for Jade Cargill and the TBS Championship. After defeating Leila Grey in her debut with the company, Madison Rayne will be challenging Cargill for the championship on next Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. This will be a part of their ‘Quake by the Lake’ special. From Bleacher Report: Fresh off being hired as the head coach of the AEW women’s division, Madison Rayne made her in-ring debut for the promotion in a match against Leila Grey. Rayne took control at first, but Grey used a lot of heel tactics to put herself in a better position. Stokely Hathaway was there with her to make sure she had an even greater advantage. AEW Announces Extended Backstage Roles, Bringing In Madison Rayne

Sharing knowledge is always good. AEW issued a press release earlier today, announcing expanded backstage roles for several of its current talent. The company also announced they are bringing in Madison Rayne to assist and coach their women’s division. From the press release: AEW CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan announced an expansion to AEW’s talent relations team with the promotions of key staff members including Sonjay Dutt, QT Marshall, Pat Buck and Tony Schiavone. In addition, Madison Rayne will join AEW as a coach in the women’s division. As AEW continues its meteoric rise, the expanded talent relations team will strengthen the infrastructure required to facilitate the development, health and safety of AEW’s outstanding roster. The following promotions and additions are effective immediately: Sonjay Dutt (Retesh Bhalla) has been promoted to Vice President of Production and Creative Coordination. Things are looking up. To say WWE is in a state of flux would be a huge understatement as there have been all kinds of changes taking place in the last few weeks. Those changes could have some very long term implications for the company and some individual people, but how positive they are remain to be seen. There is however some good news for WWE, at least in the short term. According to PWInsider.com, this week’s Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden was a sellout and had been for several days before the event. While there were tickets available on the secondary market, wrestlers and crew were told that there were no complimentary tickets available leading up to the day of the show.
