DIG IT! Randy Savage’s Rap Album (Yes That One) Is Coming Back In A Special Way

OH YEAH! There have been all kinds of wrestling merchandise over the years and some of them are more unique than others. You never know what you might find out there as occasionally wrestlers will go a bit out of the box to market themselves. On occasion these items are more infamous than anything else and now one of the weirder ones ever is coming back. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Oh Yeah: Steve Austin Officially Set For Upcoming A&E Series Back in 2003, Macho Man Randy Savage released his debut, and only, rap album called “Be A Man”. The album featured an infamous title track attacking Hulk Hogan for various reasons. Recordstoreday.com has announced that the album will be re-released on vinyl for National Record Store Day on April 22. However, there will only be 1000 copies made and released throughout the country. It was a different time. “The Genius” Lanny Poffo Passes Away At Age 68

We have some sad news to report today as Lanny Poffo, who was known as “The Genius” in WWE has passed away at the age of 68. From WWE.com: The son of Angelo Poffo and younger brother of WWE Hall of Famer “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Lanny Poffo had a style all his own. Arriving in WWE in 1985 alongside his brother, “Leaping” Lanny Poffo was one of the first high-flyers in WWE. While he achieved some success as a fan favorite reading his own poetry and throwing Frisbees to the crowd, he reached new heights as The Genius while managing Mr. Perfect. Lanny had the honor of inducting his brother into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. Long Overdue. New Advertisement Suggests Something Big For Finn Balor At WrestleMania.

It would be worth the stage. One of the biggest names in wrestling today is Finn Balor, though he’s also one of the biggest what if’s going today. Fans know how good he is but the question is how huge could he be. Balor has all the tools necessary to be one of the top stars in the world and a lot of that is due to one specific thing that he does, which could be happening again soon. According to 411mania.com, a new advertisement for WrestleMania 35 features Balor in his Demon attire, which indicates that the character could be making his WrestleMania debut. Balor only uses the Demon character on rare occasions, sometimes only once a year. There is no word on what Balor will be doing at WrestleMania 35, but there is a chance that it will be a match against Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Title. The Taz Show Recap – NXT Analysis, Effective Commentary in Wrestling, Will Taz Return to the Announce Booth? More!

<h1>Block 1:</h1><p>Taz opens today’s show speaking briefly about last night’s episode of NXT. He says that Velveteen is a very captivating character with a terrific look, great size and a ripped body. He thinks Velveteen Dream has a plethora of potential moving forward, and if he had to pick two NXT Superstars who he believes will become legitimate <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/stars/" title="stars">stars</a></strong> he’d choose Dream and Aleister Black.</p><p>Speaking about the NXT commentary team, one line in particular really bothered Taz during last night’s episode. After Velveteen Dream dropped his elbow finisher from the top rope, Mauro Ranallo said, “The elbow was Macho like <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/randy/" title="Randy">Randy</a></strong>!”. Taz cringed at that line, and he really wishes Ranallo wouldn’t have compared Veleveteen Dream to ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage.</p><p></p><p>Taz understands that Ranallo is not making this comparison maliciously and he’s doing his best to get Velveteen Dream over, but Taz doubts <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong> is aware that this type of comparison is happening on a weekly basis on NXT. He doubts McMahon would approve of these young talents being compared to some of the business’ all time greats, and Taz believes Ranallo is simply trying too hard to get these guys over.</p>

<p>Russo welcomes former WWE writer Kristian Harloff to the show.</p><p>Harloff says that he was always a huge wrestling fan, and his favourite performer was ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. He moved to Los Angeles to become a writer and a stand up comedian, and he met Paul Heyman through a WWE event one evening. He asked Heyman how to get a chance to write for WWE and Heyman told him to write a letter. He told Heyman he already did that, so Heyman told him to write another one.</p><p>He wrote the company again, this time including his take on an in-depth ‘Invasion’ angle. This caught the attention of <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/stephanie-mcmahon" title="Stephanie McMahon">Stephanie McMahon</a></strong> and she flew him into Stanford for an interview.</p><p></p><p>Russo asks Harloff why he’d want to make the jump from being a stand-up comedian to writing professional wrestling. He says that he always wanted to work for WWE and he had to take the chance. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving in WWE he realized that it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows behind the curtains.</p><p>Harloff informs that he got on management’s radar <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/quick/" title="quick">quick</a></strong>, but not in a positive way. During his first pre-show production meeting which was led by <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong>, Harloff raised his hand to ask questions on multiple occasions. Coach came up to him after that and told him to settle down a little bit, because you don’t want to be ‘that’ guy.</p>

<p>Lawler is joined on today’s show by his co-host Glenn Moore.</p><p>Lawler informs that he injured his knee recently and it might require some attention in the near future. He recently visited a doctor with his son and the doctor told him that his son’s knees are three times worse than his, and his son is looking at a double knee replacement surgery. Lawler considers himself lucky to have been wrestling for 46 years and he has never required a knee surgery.</p><p></p><p>Lawler worked a cage match recently and had ‘The Mouth of the South’ Jimmy Hart in his corner for the match. He says that the cage was actually a very stable structure which surprised him, because he has worked in some pretty sad looking cages during his career. He informs that Hart threw his megaphone into cage at one point during the match and that reminded him of a cage match he worked against ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage many years ago.</p><p>Savage had Miss Elizabeth accompany him to the ring, and at one point she jumped into the cage. When she tried to climb back out of the cage, Lawler grabbed her skirt and the <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/whole/" title="whole">whole</a></strong> skirt came right off. The Memphis crowd got <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/quite/" title="quite">quite</a></strong> a show that evening. Lawler says that Elizabeth was a tremendous talent both as a <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/valet/" title="valet">valet</a></strong> and as an in-ring worker.</p>
