WATCH: Mick Foley Wants To Join The Judgment Day (And It’s Great)

He’s worth something! Stables have been one of the most important recurring concepts in wrestling as they solve multiple problems at once. Above all else, it can allow wrestlers to get on television a bit more, as instead of short spots from individual people, they can appear together for longer stretches. Now a legend wants to join one of the most prominent modern stables. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Return: Vince McMahon Backstage At Monday Night Raw (With A Huge Change) Mick Foley has released his video resume in an attempt to join the Judgment Day. Foley lists off several of his career highlights, including a focus on his times flying off of Hell In A Cell. During the video, Foley also makes fun of Dominik Mysterio’s time in prison and includes an Al Snow reference. Thus far, Judgment Day has not responded to Foley’s offering to join the team. This is something different. Check out the resume, plus the two sides in action: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post c..

Big E Is Unsure If He Will Ever Wrestle Again

WWE superstar Big E was recently interviewed by Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, discussing his future in the ring. He gave an update on his condition and if he will ever return to the ring again: “That [whether he thinks he’ll ever wrestle again] I’m unsure of. I’ve also talked to a couple doctors who told me, ‘Hey, if you break this again, it could be even worse. It could be even more catastrophic,’ and these are spine specialists. “But now at 36, after working through a lot of those things, after being mentally healthier. Man, this job has allowed me to meet so many different people from so many walks of life and have so many different experiences, and now — I don’t know, man. I think of life after 36, and I see so many of the guys I grew up watching in wrestling. I think too of the athletes that I love who participated in MMA, or were boxers and you see them at 50, and you see their body ravaged. And that’s not the life that I want. “My hope is — I feel great now. And I’m grateful..

There are so many moments in the show’s history, which makes things more interesting..

A Weird NXT Situation: One Tag Team Title Is Vacated But The Other One Isn’t

That’s not good for the title. Championships have been one of the most important things about the wrestling world for a very long time and that will probably always be the case. Someone wanting to win a championship and be on top is a very logical concept and something that any fan can understand. Now though, some titles could be in a place they don’t go to very often. Last week on NXT, Cora Jade turned on Roxanne Perez, despite the two of them being the reigning NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. This week, Jade said that she was done with Perez for good and dropped her title belt in a trash can. WWE.com’s roster page now lists Perez as one half of the champions with the other title vacant. There is no word on how Perez’s new partner will be chosen. Opinion: Something like this had to happen and I’m curious to see about where this is going. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the titles dropped for the time being, but what might make sense is to have some WWE teams get involved in going aft..

WWE Is Going To Take A Special Look Back At An All Time Legend

I’d say he deserves it. There are certain wrestlers who have managed to become all time stars in WWE. These are the names who have had some of the biggest impacts in the history of the company and whose legacies continue long after they hang up their boots. WWE has a history of honoring these legends and that is going to be the case again soon as it is anniversary time. In honor of the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut on May 9, 2002, WWE will begin Batista Week on Monday May 9. WWE will be celebrating the week with special looks back at Batista’s career on its social media channels, including Top 10s and playlists. There is no word on if Batista himself will make any kind of appearance during the week. This comes less than a month after WWE celebrated the 20th anniversary of Randy Orton’s debut. With the 20-year anniversary of @DaveBautista's WWE debut just around the corner, join WWE in honoring The Animal all week long! #BatistaWeek pic.twitter.com/uUpKJ16knh — WWE (@WWE) Ma..

Smackdown Date: April 22, 2022 Location: MVP Arena, Albany, New York Commentators: Michael Cole, Pat McAfee We are less than two weeks away from Wrestlemania Bakclash and it is time to start adding some things to the card. Roman Reigns still doesn’t have anything to do, though there is still the chance that they pick up whatever they stared with Shinsuke Nakamura two weeks ago. Let’s get to it. We open with the contract signing between Charlotte and Ronda Rousey with Adam Pearce in charge. After a recap video of their issues together….there is no contract. Drew Gulak brings it out and has even made a special PowerPoint presentation (it was his thing when he was on 205 Live) about the rules of an I Quit match but Charlotte tells him to shut up. She has been looking forward to this match for a long time and lists off some of the ways she can make Rousey submit. Charlotte signs and says she beat Rousey at Wrestlemania. Rousey explains the idea, allowing Charlotte to say she won at Wres..

AEW Rampage Results – February 4, 2022

Rampage Date: February 4, 2022 Location: Wintrust Arena, Chicago, Illinois Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Chris Jericho We’re still in Chicago and it’s a stacked card as Jay Lethal challenges Ricky Starks for the FTW Title. On top of that, Sammy Guevara defends the TNT Title against Isiah Kassidy and Adam Cole faces Evil Uno. Ok so maybe they’re not all huge matches this time around. Let’s get to it. Adam Cole vs. Evil Uno Cole jumps him to start and the choking begins on the ropes. That lets Cole get a bit more cocky but Uno fights up and runs him over. The Swanton hits knees though and some kicks rock Uno. The Boom finishes for Cole at 2:25. Result: Adam Cole b. Evil Uno – The Boom (2:25) Post match Cole lists off a bunch of names that he has beaten while he is still undefeated. He doesn’t care about last week because it doesn’t exist. Several New Names Added To Men’s Royal Rumble Match

The next of many. We are less than a month away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start putting some names on some lists. The Royal Rumble requires sixth names to fill in the show’s two namesake matches and that can take some time. It makes sense to get on these things in a hurry, and that is what WWE was doing in a big way this week. This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw five new names added to the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Over the course of the show, the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and the Mysterios (Rey and Dominik) announced their entries in the match. Later, Vince McMahon added Austin Theory. This comes after Johnny Knoxville announced his own entry last weekend. The Royal Rumble takes place on January 29. Those are some talented stars. Check out who is joining the Royal Rumble: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is the kind ..

The Big Round-Up: WWE Lists Its Top 25 Matches Of 2021

Count them up. There are so many wrestling matches in the course of a year that it is almost impossible to keep track of all of them. That is the case with every promotion, but WWE has more content than it knows what to do with most of the time. Therefore, it can be interesting to look back at what you might forget during the course of the year, and that is what WWE is doing for you at the moment. WWE has released a list of the Top 25 Matches of 2021. The list includes a variety of matches from the main roster television shows, NXT and NXT UK, along with pay per views and specials. The matches took place over the course of the year, ranging from the beginning all the way to the end. It is not clear who picked the list or voted on the matches. Here is the list: 25. Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley – No Holds Barred Match (..

WWE Legend Lists His Problems With Today’s Product, Cites Changing Fans

Can you blame him? WWE has been around for a long time now but the company is certainly undergoing some problems at the moment. There have been a lot of challenges for the company and the fans are not exactly watching as much as they used to. At the same time, the company has released all kinds of wrestlers in a short amount of time. This can make for some confusing moments, with one legend seeming to agree. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler appeared on Busted Open Radio and spoke about the current WWE product. Lawler said that it can be hard to watch at times, as he felt like he needed to cram for an exam to know what is going on and who everyone is. He went on to say that things change so fast these days and fans have a shorter attention span. As a result, WWE has to keep things constantly moving to keep up, which can make things harder to remember. Here are some of Lawler’s comments, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com: On Modern WWE “Sometimes it’s sort of hard for me t..

Again: SmackDown Star Moved Back To Monday Night Raw

Move over. There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that you can only find so many places for them. As a result, WWE has its wrestlers split into multiple rosters, with Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK. Those rosters are not knocked into stone though and every now and then you see someone moved elsewhere. That was the case again this week, though it was a bit of a strange situation. Reckoning’s WWE.com profile once again lists her as a member of the Monday Night Raw roster. This comes after she was moved to SmackDown, though she never actually wrestled on the show. Reckoning, better known as Mia Yim, has not wrestled since December 2020. There is no word on why she has been absent from television, or if she will be known as Reckoning or Yim when she returns. She is worth having around. Check out what might be coming to Monday Night Raw: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] ..

Ring Of Honor TV Results – June 30, 2021

Ring of Honor Date: June 30, 2021 Location: UMBC Event Center, Baltimore, Maryland Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman We are rapidly approaching Best In The World and a lot of the card has either already been made or is pretty obvious. That is not a bad thing either, but we also have to set up the rest of the Survival of the Fittest tournament. In other words, you can feel things getting interesting around here again and that is a very nice thing. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Quinn McKay welcomes us to the show and runs down the card, which will be headlined by the Survival of the Fittest finals. Here’s how all six of the finalists qualified. But first, this. Matt Taven vs. Dutch Dutch has Vita Von Starr and Bateman with him. Taven goes straight at the monster to start and gets shoved down without much effort. Some heavy forearms to the chest have Taven in trouble but Dutch’s powerslam is broken up. A dropkick has no effect on Dutch, who runs Taven over to send us..

Impact Wrestling Results – June 24, 2021

Impact Wrestling Date: June 24, 2021 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: Josh Matthews, D’Lo brown We are on the way to Slammiversary and the show is starting to take shape. This week is likely going to deal with the fallout of Tommy Dreamer (yep) being announced as the new Anthem representative, because not only do we need two bosses, but one needs to be Tommy Dreamer. Last week Dreamer fired Don Callis, right before Kenny Omega gets to defend against Sami Callihan. Let’s get to it. The opening recap looks at the end of last week’s show with Dreamer announcing Callis’ firing. Don Callis and Kenny Omega arrive but Callis is not on the talent list. Callis lists off his recent accomplishments and he insists that he is here with Omega. Rosemary vs. Kiera Hogan Tasha Steelz is here with Hogan. We hit the stall button to start with Hogan bailing to the floor. Commentary talks about the MICKIE trash bag from last week as Rosemary plants Hogan with a side suplex f..

LOOK: Bayley’s Wrestling Resume From Ten Years Ago (This Is Great)

You have to start somewhere. One of the more entertaining and unique stories from WWE over the last few months was Billie Kay and her resume. For months, Kay tried to get someone to team with her by way of offering her head shot and resume. While Kay’s resume got a bit more out there every time, such a thing is something that wrestlers may try. It turns out that one current major star has tried just that. Shimmer Wrestling has tweeted out a photo of a photo and resume that Bayley sent in to them ten years ago. The resume lists off Bayley’s career timeline to that point, including wrestlers she has faced during her career. One of the items mentioned that she had wrestled thirty matches in three years. Bayley responded, being amazed that she had wrestled so infrequently in such a long time, saying that she wrestled that many matches in a week during a marathon WWE taping session in 2020. Found this today. Mail from 10 years ago. pic.twitter.com/77JzyRLAIP — SHIMMER Wrestling (@SHIMMER..

NXT UK Results – November 12, 2020

NXT UK Date: November 12, 2020 Location: BT Studios, London, England Commentators: Andy Shepherd, Nigel McGuinness We’re coming up on the end of the Heritage Cup tournament and that means we are going to need some finalists. A-Kid advanced to the finals last week and this week we find out who his opponent will be. Other than that, we have the debut of Rampage Brown, who looks like he could be a big deal. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. The Hunt vs. Kenny Williams/Amir Jordan Eddie Dennis is here with the Hunt. Boar takes Williams into the corner and it’s Primate coming in off the top with a shot to the back. A headlock doesn’t do much to Primate but a dropkick sends him into the corner for the tag back to Boar. The Hunt is knocked outside by a springboard elbow and some dives have them down as well. Back in and Boar sends Williams flying towards the camera to take over. The Hunt pounds Williams down in the corner and Boar adds a headbutt for a bonus. The face pulling is on but W..

AEW RUMOR: Legend Possibly Appearing At Full Gear

I’d call that a big get. One of the most exciting things to see in the wrestling world is a big jump. You never know when you are going to see someone move from one promotion to another and it can make for some of the best moments in the sport. These names can go from one place to another at the drop of a hat and the bigger the name is, often the more exciting everything can be. That might be the case again next week. There have been a lot of legends in WWE over the years and that means they have been able to present all kinds of people in different ways. On the other hand, AEW has not been around all that long so far. They are developing a history of their own, but it is going to take time. The company has had its share of moments though, and now they might be borrowing from another one. AEW has released a new commercial for their Full Gear pay per view which asks who will be the next major surprise to debut on the show. The commercial lists off various names who have appeared for t..

VIDEO: Star Studded Monday Night Raw Preview Featuring Top Names

It’s a packed one. Monday Night Raw is not your usual professional wrestling show. There is no other show that runs three hours a week every single week for the entire year. That is a hard thing to accomplish and yet WWE managed to do it fifty two weeks a year. With so much going on, there are only going to be so many shows that stand out. We are coming up on one of those this week. Like any other wrestling company, WWE is built around star power. The bigger the name that appears on the show, the bigger of a deal that they really are. That is the case with Monday Night Raw every single week, as stronger names are going to draw a bigger audience. With WrestleMania 36 just around the corner, WWE needs a strong go home show and that is what we seem ready to get. WWE.com’s preview for this week’s Monday Night Raw lists Brock Lesnar, the Undertaker, Edge and Becky Lynch for the show. All four of these names will be wrestling at WrestleMania, though it is not clear which night any of their..
