That could slow things down. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to not be able to get in the ring and some of them are more serious than others. You never know when you might see someone having to sit out a good deal of time before they can have a major match and that can make things a lot more complicated. Now it seems to be slowing down the debut of a top WWE prospect. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Undertaker Reveals Surprising Name Considered To End The Streak Back in 2021, WWE officially announced the signing of Olympic gold medalist Gable Steveson. While Steveson has made some appearances and was even Drafted by Monday Night Raw, he has yet to actually wrestle a match in WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Steveson is talking about returning to amateur wrestling and attempting to win another Olympic gold medal in 2024. He’s in. WWE is a truly international wrestling company, with a worldwide audience and live events taking place throughout the world. They have all kinds of countries represented on their roster as well, with wrestlers of several nationalities up and down the card. That list has grown recently and now another international star has officially been seen on WWE television. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Right Here, Right Now: Independent Tag Team Sends WWE Cease And Desist Letters Over Name International star Dragon Lee was shown in the crowd this week on NXT. Lee, who announced that he had signed with WWE in December, was listed under the Dragon Lee name. This is similar to how previous new signees debuted in the crowd before. Lee did nothing else on the show and did not get physical. There is no word on when he will make his in-ring debut for the company. Lee has wrestled at a high level around the world. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Bad News: WWE Superstar Reportedly Arrested Last Month Over Firearm Charge Earlier this year, William Regal returned to WWE and was named the Vice President of Global Talent Development. According to PWInsider.com, Regal has several responsibilities with WWE. This includes taking notes on every match at a television taping and talking to the wrestlers about how to make their matches better, including being “more realistic from an in-ring perspective”. Sometimes a wrestlers will not be around for one reason or another but it might not be anything that bad. With multiple rosters throughout the company, there will be times when wrestlers jump from one to the other, which seems to be the reason for a recent absence. It can happen to anyone. Injuries are one of the great equalizers in wrestling as any wrestler can get hurt and put on the shelf at any time. You never want to see someone get hurt and left out of the ring for any amount of time, as their time on the injured list could go on for awhile. Now another AEW star has revealed that he is hurt, but he has an idea of how long he will be out. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One Step: Huge Update On Jeff Hardy’s DUI Charges, Case Closed AEW’s Fuego del Sol has announced that he suffered a foot injury during a match in Sacramento, California last Sunday. The injury took place when del Sol hit a dropkick but his opponent landed on him, resulting in a dislocated foot. The foot was popped back into place during the match, but damage was still done. Del Sol also suffered a small fracture near his toe. He is expected to miss five to six weeks of action, though any possible ligament damage could extend his time up to about three months. Khan not only helped found AEW but has also purchased Ring Of Honor. That is the kind of move that almost never takes place in wrestling but Khan made it work. Khan mentioned the appearance on Twitter, calling Helwani “a fraud” and saying he was as legitimate of a reporter as AEW’s Tony Schiavone.
