Emma Opens Up About WWE Return After Five Year Absence
It’s good to be back. There have been a lot of stars returning to WWE in the last few months and those returns do not seem to be slowing down whatsoever. It can be a big deal when someone returns after months if not years away and that was the situation last week. Now the latest returning star is opening up about her return, as it was quite the special moment. Last Friday on SmackDown, Emma made a surprise return, answering Ronda Rousey’s open challenge in a losing effort. Emma has since responded to her return with both a tweet and an Instagram post. The latter is simply saying “home” while the Instagram post talks about how she left WWE nearly five years ago to the day before getting to return with some “unfinished business”. Good for them! Wrestling is a very unique form of work and it comes with a rather unique lifestyle. Wrestlers are constantly on the road and it can be difficult to find a way to have a normal life. This certainly includes romantic relationships outside of the industry, but two current wrestling names have found a way around that. As it turns out, things seem to be going very well. Monday Night Raw’s Carmella has announced that she and WWE broadcaster are engaged, with Graves proposing to her on Saturday. Carmella accepted, though there is no word on when the two will be getting married. Graves and Carmella have been dating since 2019 and are now on the same WWE brands following the 2021 Draft. <p>Reby Hardy responded to a remark made by Twitter user @KingCrump83 that if it wasn’t for her recent <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/trash/" title="trash">trash</a></strong> talking the legal battle over the “BROKEN” gimmick would have been resolved by now.</p><p><em>“Some people say that if it wasn’t for @RebyHardy talking trash all the time, GFW would have signed off on the contract already. I dont know.”</em></p><p>Hardy responded to these remarks with a series of tweets on Twitter. He says he was told the day before winning the 6-pack challenge on Smackdown Live that he was going to become the number one contender. Concerning his run as an enhancement talent prior to this, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong> told him that WWE’s audience has a <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/short/" title="short">short</a></strong> memory and Mahal says, “I guess we’ll all find out about that”.</p><p></p><p>Mahal says he got pretty down on himself emotionally after being released from WWE a couple of years ago. He was drinking a lot and his weight ballooned to 260 lbs. He realized that he needed to change his lifestyle, so he began dieting and getting into shape, and soon enough WWE came calling. He says that Impact Wrestling actually called him about coming to work for them as well, but he chose to come back to WWE.</p><p>He says that during those two years he was very negative and was working the indie scene and just didn’t care. As soon as he started to care about himself and his wrestling again, everything changed and opportunities started to arise again. He says he’s remaining very positive now, and he keeps a daily planner of his goals. One of his goals is to have the best body in WWE, and another is to win the WWE Championship.</p>
