WRESTLING RUMORS: Triple H Returning To Old Position

Welcome back! To say there has been a lot of upheaval behind the scenes in WWE in recent months would be a huge understatement. The company’s front office has been turned upside down in a lot of ways and that is probably going to be continuing in the near future. It can be interesting to see how things shake out, and now another big change seems to be putting things back to how they were before. Triple H Suffers Cardiac Event, Undergoes Surgery

Hopefully it isn’t too bad. Wrestlers are larger than life characters and you are going to see them doing some completely insane things at various times. The issue was caused due to a genetic issue and Triple H is expected to make a full recovery. There is no word on when Triple H will be able to make a return to work. RUMOR: Bad News For How WWE Views NXT

Three’s a crowd? WWE is the biggest and more powerful wrestling promotion in the world, to the point that they are regularly running four television shows, all with their own unique rosters. That alone is going to be tricky, as it can be difficult to keep track of everyone on every show. There is also a pecking order to the whole thing, and WWE has certainly figured it out. According to Jon Alba of Living The Gimmick, NXT is still considered the developmental show rather than the third brand of WWE. This comes after several instances of NXT being presented as a third brand, including winning the Battle For Brand Supremacy at Survivor Series 2019. Earlier this week, NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his Monday Night Raw debut, losing to Jeff Hardy in less than two minutes. Sources in #WWE tell me #WWENXT is officially viewed internally as "developmental," rather than the third brand as Paul Levesque's team has promoted over the past few years. That bodes well for women in the sport. The deeper that bench is, the more we’ll see young girls who want to do this when they grow up. Ten years from now, there will be women saying that Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai and Xia Li inspired them. That’..

NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo recently spoke with Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard section to talk about his hectic schedule, working SmackDown, NXT and his relationship with WWE. Ranallo first explained how his hectic schedule has affected him. He speaks about his time on SmackDown Live before moving to NXT: “With WWE, the biggest issue was the weekly travel for SmackDown. I also had a job with Showtime Championship Boxing, and now Bellator MMA, so I was busy almost every weekend and the fact that I had to be on the road with SmackDown Live, which was a dream job in live TV on the USA Network, was going to kill me. Literally. My close friends saw how it was affecting me, and it just came to a head. There were other issues, and they’ve been dealt with, and honestly, I’ve never had a better relationship with WWE, especially Paul [Triple H] Levesque and Michael Cole, two people who are instrumental in me being the voice of NXT. The amount of support I’ve received from everyone, and I mea..

At the time, I don’t think I was ready for it with some stuff with my family life and my personal life to take care of. He understood that. It had nothing to do with wrestling.
