A valet reportedly found the gun and called authorities, leading to the arrest. Deville has possessed the weapon since she was stalked by a fan in August 2020. The gun is registered to her in Florida but not in New Jersey and Deville has a hearing scheduled for later this month. AEW Signs Top Star To New Deal, Gives Him Several New Jobs

It can be even more impressive if someone becomes a legend in their own time, making them even more valuable. A promotion will often want to try to keep someone like that under contract for as long as possible and now AEW is doing just that with perhaps its most famous star. According to Variety, Chris Jericho has signed a new three year contract with AEW, which will keep him in the company until December 2025. In addition to wrestling, the new deal comes with additional duties for Jericho, who will become a producer, an advisor to creative as well as a mentor to younger wrestlers. Jericho has been with AEW since the beginning and is the current Ring Of Honor World Champion. McMahon has run the company for over forty years and now we are in for a very different future. According to Fightful Select, Bruce Prichard is taking over leadership of the creative team, with his first show in charge being this week’s SmackDown, with Triple H and Ed Koskey assisting. That’s why they do it. There are all kinds of wrestling shows through the WWE’s calendar every year and some of them are more important than others. At the very top of the list is WrestleMania, which has long since been established as the biggest wrestling show of the year. It is such a big deal that cities will bid on the right to host it, and now we can see why that is the case. WWE has announced that this year’s WrestleMania 38 brought in $206 million in revenue to the Dallas, Texas area. This is a new record for WrestleMania revenue and the first time the show has broken two hundred million dollars. The revenue brought in was the equivalent of 1,777 full time jobs in the area, as 67% of the fans were from outside the Dallas/Arlington region. That doesn’t seem good. There are times when it seems that WWE does not know how to present a wrestler. This can cause some problems, as it often leaves wrestlers on the sidelines with nothing to do for a long time. It can be quite nice to see the company come up with something for them, and that seems to be the case again with a wrestler who has not been used much lately. What Pat McAfee Says Every Week That Gets Him In Trouble With WWE

It’s a hard job. There are a lot of jobs to do in the wrestling world and some of them are rather important. While the wrestlers themselves are the focal points of any given wrestling show, there is another group of people on most events that have an important role of their own. That would be the commentary team, whose consists of guiding the fans where the promotion wants them to go. It seems that WWE was not pleased with one of their more prominent voices. During the most recent edition of his podcast, SmackDown broadcaster Pat McAfee revealed that he gets yelled at every time he refers to someone as a “future Hall of Famer”. Someone, occasionally Vince McMahon, will speak to him in his headset, saying that the company does not know if a wrestler will be inducted into the Hall of Fame or not. See you soon. Over the last year and a half, WWE has released a ton of wrestlers from the company. That is the kind of change that you do not see happen very often in wrestling and unfortunately it cost a lot of people their jobs. While it certainly changes how WWE works, it also changes how other promotions work as well. Now, some of those promotions are able to pick up more than a few new wrestlers as a result. On November 2, 2021, WWE released several wrestlers from their contracts. These wrestlers were on 90 day no compete clauses, which have now expired as of February 2. Every promotion has been affected in one way or another, with some of them being more devastated than others. WWE has managed to keep things going, but there is still something related to the virus that still needs to be addressed. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE wrestlers who are not vaccinated against the Coronavirus have been told that they are less valuable than those who have been. This comes as several countries require wrestlers to be vaccinated in order to participate on overseas tours. Fightful Select is reporting that Xavier Woods makes little to no additional money from his work on the UpUpDownDown Youtube channel or his work with G4. Instead, WWE applies both of these jobs towards Woods’ downside guarantee, meaning that they are treated the same as Woods’ time in the ring. He had some reasons. There have been a lot of wrestlers released from WWE over the last year and a half with several of them being less than surprising. With so many names on the WWE roster, it made sense to see some of them go. At the same time though, there were releases who did come as quite the surprise.
