The show will feature two matches with sixty people between the two of them and that is going to require a bunch of people working together. Can’t they all just get along? There have been all kinds of stars throughout the history of WWE, with only a small handful reaching the top of the company. It means a lot to see one of those stars becoming all time legends, meaning they are remembered long after they hang up their boots. At the same time though, not all legends get along and that is the case again, with one having something to say about the other. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took to Twitter this week to bash fell Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield for his history of bullying accusations. Flair said that WWE’s anti-bullying campaign must not apply to Layfield, with Flair naming Joey Styles and “Jason” Roberts (presumably Justin Roberts, who accused Layfield of bullying) as former victims. WWE Teaming With Dark Side Of The Ring Creators For New Wrestling Series

That might be a different take. There are all kinds of stories in the wrestling world and some of them can be quite fascinating. You never know what you might hear about in wrestling and over the last few years, several more of those stories have received attention. This has come in the form of several documentaries, and now we are going to be in for another set with a different perspective. According to SEScoops, WWE will be teaming up with Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, the creators of Dark Side of the Ring, for a new wrestling TV series. The VICE TV series is described as “Campfire Talks” about previous generations of wrestling. WWE legends will be included in the series, including Steve Austin, and the creators will have access to the WWE archives. There is no word on when the new series will air. We’re not done yet. There is so much history to professional wrestling that there is no chance in telling all of its stories. With so many characters, angles and plot twists both in front of and behind the scenes, the stories never really end. Now it seems that we might be getting to hear some more of those stories from one of the more prominent pairs of storytellers in a long time. Last week, VICE TV released its slate of programming for the 2022-23 television season. The slate was missing Dark Side Of The Ring, the professional wrestling documentary series, suggesting that the show might be canceled. However, on Monday, the VICE TV Twitter account sent out a message saying that they were committed to the series, with its producers Evan Husney and Jason Eisener working on new material. It’s a different kind of show. Wrestlers have a weird reputation when it comes to celebrity status, as you do not get to see them doing much outside of the ring. They are well known for that kind of appearance, but it is rare to see what else they can do. Now though, we might be getting to see a wrestler try something else, though seeing them is not the point this time. AEW star Marko Stunt has announced that he has tried out for the singing competition show The Voice and has even received a call back to return for the next round. The idea of the show is that the judges will decide who should continue on the show based on the person’s voice rather than their look. Action: Bray Wyatt Appearing In Upcoming Feature Film

He could be good at it. There are several wrestlers that fans seem to think would work out well in Hollywood. While they are very good in front of a camera at a wrestling show, there is a world of difference in being in front of a camera in a mainstream TV show or movie. Sometimes it has worked out though and now another prominent wrestling star is getting the chance. In an interview with Metro, Callosum Studios owner Jason Baker revealed that the former Bray Wyatt would be beginning filming a part in a movie later this month. The movie will be a feature length film and is described as “Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu”. It’s something new. When Roddy Piper tried to get into acting, he was told that he was just a wrestler. When Piper was wrestling, he was told he was just acting. While wrestling is built around athleticism, there is also a lot of performing included. Some wrestlers have been able to turn that into an acting career, and now another wrestler seems to be trying to do the same. According to Fightful Select, Windham Rotunda, formerly known as Bray Wyatt, has been taking inquiries about opportunities in Hollywood for various projects. Rotunda was recently seen on the Warner Brothers property in Burbank, California with Jason Baker, who designed Wyatt’s lamp in WWE. We are coming up on one of the most important times that WWE has seen in a very long time as fans will be returning to live events for the first time in nearly a year and a half. That is the kind of thing that WWE has been building towards for a good while and it would make sense for the company to push them as hard as possible. They might be doing that in another way. In an interview with Below The Line, WWE’s Lead Production Designer Jason Robinson mention that WWE is considering new sets for the upcoming shows. This would include news staging and graphics, plus additional augmented reality, meaning 3D elements that wrestlers can walk around. That’s always nice to hear. One of the interesting stories from this year has been all of the changes taking place backstage in WWE. The company has seen more shakeups in the last few months than in recent years and it is not surprising that it will take time to adjust to the new reality. Some have done better than others though, and now we know a bit more about the changes. According to PWInsider.com, both John Cone and Jason Jordan, who have recently been promoted to higher positions backstage in WWE, are receiving high praise from various sources in the company. Earlier this year, Cone replaced the recently departed Mark Carrano as the second in command in the talent relations department under John Laurinaitis. Jordan had been working as a producer for over a year before being promoted to lead producer in April. Honeymoon over? AEW has only been around a little over two years at this point, with Double Or Nothing 2021 marking the two year anniversary of their first event. The promotion has done rather well during their time and they have established themselves as one of the hottest wrestling companies to come along in a very long time. However, not everything is going to work perfectly, and that might be the case again. According to the Pro Wrestling Torch podcast, Wade Keller and Jason Powell mentioned that there have been backstage issues between AEW’s Executive Vice Presidents, including Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks. It is not clear what has been causing the problems. Some of the group is said to not be speaking to each other, though it is not clear what caused the issues or which people have the biggest problems, but that might not even be the biggest issue. Update on Jason Jordan’s Return to WWE

It had been previously reported that Jason Jordan underwent neck surgery back in February, and has been out of action since then. According to a report from PWInsider, Jordan is scheduled to be at this week’s Raw from Richmond, Virginia. It is unknown at this time if he will be used on camera, or is just going to be backstage. Jordan has been off of WWE Programming since the February 5 episode of Raw, when General Manager, and father, Kurt Angle, sent him home. The Rock And John Cena To Work Together On ‘The Janson Directive’ Film

The Rock has now confirmed that 16-time World Champion John Cena will be joining him. Together, they will work on The Rock’s new film, “The Janson Directive.” As WWE.com write, the two Superstars will be reuniting in the thriller, “The Janson Directive.” This film is based on a novel by Jason Bourne creator Robert Ludlum. The book has been on the radar for The Rock for some time, and it now appears that his studio Seven Bucks Productions alongside Universal Pictures will be coming together to create the film based on it.
