Another Wrestling Promotion Returning To National Touring

Get the trucks ready. The Coronavirus had a huge impact on the wrestling world and a lot of those changes are still being felt to this day. While things are not completely fixed and there are a lot of areas that need to be improved, you can see that we are getting better. That is the case again with one of the bigger promotions as it has some good news for itself and its fans. Impact Wrestling has announced that they are returning to the road for regular television tapings starting in 2022. This will include their regular Impact Plus specials and pay per views as well as Impact tapings. Former World Champion Suffers Broken Ankle, Out For Year

It can happen to anyone. You have all kinds of wrestlers on any given roster and unfortunately some of them are going to get hurt at one point or another. There is no way around it and some of the injuries are a lot worse than others. Unfortunately it seems that someone has been hurt again and now it is going to be a long time before we see him in in the ring again. According to Dave Meltzer, Sami Callihan suffered a broken ankle at this weekend’s Impact Wrestling taping and will be out of action until spring 2022. There is no word on how Callihan broke his ankle at the taping or what will be done to make up for his absence. Callihan is a former Impact Wrestling World Champion and teamed with Eddie Edwards in a losing effort against Moose and W. Morrissey at Victory Road over the weekend. Matt Sydal Suffers Injury at GFW Impact Tapings

<p>The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Matt <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/sydal/" title="Sydal">Sydal</a></strong> suffered a dislocated shoulder at the most recent set of GFW Impact Wrestling tapings.</p><p>While there are no exact details of how the injury occurred, it’s believed that it may have happened during the last mach of the tapings. That match featured Sydal teaming with Sonjay Dutt & Alberto El Patron to take on the team of Trevor Lee, Low Ki and <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/bobby/" title="Bobby">Bobby</a></strong> Lashley.</p><p>Sydal worked an <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/indie/" title="indie">indie</a></strong> match last week in Israel but was limited in what he was able to do inside of the ring. He is currently scheduled to face Ricochet at a UK indie show tonight.</p>

GFW Spoiler Notes: Former WWE Talent Appearing?, Hardy Boyz/Impact Update, More

<p>The following are backstage notes from tonight’s GFW Impact tapings in Orlando, FL. courtesy of PWInsider:</p>There has been some pressure from America’s Top Team about Bobby Lashley concentrating full-time on MMA pursuit and pulling back on pro wrestling commitments. The <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/hardy/" title="Hardy">Hardy</a></strong> Boyz settlement has been a hot <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/topic/" title="topic">topic</a></strong>. While it was noted previously that they were close to an agreement with Anthem, that is not the case. It’s believed to be the complete opposite. There are plans for the “Swole Brothers” to get in the ring tonight at the taping. Naomichi Marufuji, Taiji Ishimora and Hijo del Fantasma are all scheduled for singles matches at tonight’s tapings. Gail Kim Announces Retirement at Impact Tapings

<p>At the most recent <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/2017/07/03/gfw-impact-wrestling-spoilers-july-3rd-2017/">GFW Impact tapings</a>, Gail Kim announced she will be retiring effective at the end of 2017.</p><p>As reported by <a href="http://www.f4wonline.com/tna-news/impact-tv-taping-notes-gail-kim-announcement-super-x-cup-238556" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">F4WOnline</a>, Kim came out Monday during the TV tapings at the Impact Zone to address the Impact Orlando crowd. During her <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/promo/" title="promo">promo</a></strong>, Kim told fans that while she would be returning to the ring once medically cleared, she would hang up her boots at the end of the year. Kim has not wrestled since October 2016 after suffering a back injury, forcing her to vacate the Knockouts Championship.</p><h5>Gail Kim’s Accomplishments</h5><p>During her career, Kim, 40, won the Knockouts Championship a record six times for a combined 710 days. Kim is also a former Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Madison Rayne. In 2015, Kim helped Team <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/hardy/" title="Hardy">Hardy</a></strong> win the TNA World Cup. In 2016, Kim became the first Knockout inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame. She also won the WWE <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/women/" title="Women">Women</a></strong>’s Championship in 2003.</p>

Chris Adonis Suffers Injury at Impact Tapings

<p>PWInsider reports that Chris Adonis (former WWE Superstar Chris Masters) suffered an injury during Monday’s Impact tapings in Mumbai, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/india/" title="India">India</a></strong>.</p><p>It’s being said that Adonis went to a local hospital to get an MRI but it’s currently unknown exactly what injury he had suffered. Due to the injury, he was unable to work the set second of tapings on Tuesday.</p><p>We will keep you updated if we receive an update on his condition.</p>
