That’s an endorsement. We are rapidly approaching WrestleMania 39 weekend and as usual, it will be the biggest and busiest few days of the wrestling year. Fans from all over the world will be coming out to see what WWE is doing that weekend, but there is also a lot of stuff that has nothing to do with what happens in the ring. One legend has put in a request for what he would like to see. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He Would Know: Edge Calls 36 Year Old Raw Wrestler Today’s Rated-R Superstar On March 31, WWE will induct the Class of 2023 into the WWE Hall Of Fame. In a new YouTube video, Hulk Hogan has endorsed the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers, Jacques and Raymond, to be inducted this year. The Rougeaus teamed together in the WWE from 1986-1990. WWE normally inducts one tag team a year and has not announced this year’s team. The only inductee announced thus far is Rey Mysterio. The team was rather awesome. It’s a gig. WrestleMania has evolved so much over the years that it is almost nothing like what it was when it first started. The show has gone from little more than a really souped up live event to a stadium filling event that takes place over two nights. Things have gotten so much bigger that it needs someone to keep track of them all, which is what we will have again this year. The announcement came via the envelope that Miz’s wife Maryse gave him last week. After making the announcement, Miz was attacked by Seth Rollins and left laying. That’s a long time. Title reigns are some of the most defining spans of time for any wrestling promotion, as they often serve as cutoff points in a company’s history. A long title reign coming to an end can mark the beginning of a new era, especially if that wrestler is set to become the next big star. Now a current reign has reached a mark that has not been seen in a very long time. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Mick Foley, With Lita, Sings “Sexy Kurt” On August 30, 2020 at Payback, Roman Reigns won the Universal Title from the Fiend in a triple threat match also involving Braun Strowman. Reigns has held the title ever since, and as of February 16, 2023, he has held the title for 900 days. This is the fifth longest World Title reign in WWE history and the longest since Hulk Hogan’s 1984-1988 reign, which lasted 1,474 days.
