The bigger the star, the more interesting the move can be, which is the case with anyone from any promotion. Now one of the bigger international stars is indicating that he is in for a major change. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Clean Slate: Backstage Meeting Reportedly Held Over AEW Star’s Past Actions Earlier this month, Jay White lost a Loser Leaves Japan match, signaling that he would be leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling. Earlier this week, White sent out a tweet saying “Peace” with the hashtag “SwitchbladeEra”, referencing his Switchblade nickname. White is still scheduled to face Eddie Kingston for New Japan in San Jose, California this weekend, though his New Japan deal is expected to expire shortly thereafter. First Up: WWE Teases Logan Paul’s Summerslam Match

That’s one down. We are on the way to Summerslam later this month and the show has the potential to be a big one. What matters most is that the show has the biggest card and the top stars in the company but that is easier said than done. WWE has the roster to make it work, and now they are one upping things by bringing in a new star to put him on the show as well. WWE has heavily hinted that Logan Paul will face the Miz at Summerslam on July 30. A tweet showing Paul holding up a sign saying he was coming for Miz has been posted, with a Summerslam hashtag included. This comes after Paul announced that he had signed a full time contract with WWE earlier this week. Paul has wrestled in WWE before, including teaming with Miz to defeat the Mysterios at WrestleMania 38 in April. Following the match, Miz turned on Paul, which set up their match at Summerslam. Possible Sign That Naomi Is Done With WWE

This could be a bad one. The biggest wrestling story of the week has been Naomi and Sasha Banks walking out on WWE. The two left last week’s Monday Night Raw over creative differences involving the show’s planned main event. Since then, WWE has spoken negatively about the two of them and things are not looking great. Now things have been taken to another level. According to Wrestlinginc.com, Naomi has removed all references to WWE from her social media accounts. This includes removing the “WWE Superstar” description and “FeelTheGlow” hashtag. Now, her biography simply has links to her Instagram and TikTok, though her handle is still @NaomiWWE. There is no word on when or if Naomi could return to WWE programming. Opinion: This whole situation is such a mess and I have a bad feeling that it is going to turn into a huge logjam as neither side is interested in waiting. Well that got serious. There have been a lot of changes in WWE over the last year and a half, with all kinds of wrestlers being let go from the company. That has caused a huge shakeup within the company and changed the way that wrestlers see WWE. That means some wrestlers might want to leave before they are let go, but that is not always going to be granted. Now things have gone in a different direction. Earlier this month, Mustafa Ali announced that he had requested his release from WWE, but the company turned down his request. This has led to a Twitter campaign using the hashtag “FreeAli”, with a fan sending the tweet to the WWEOnFox account. The fan was blocked, which caused Ali himself to block WWEOnFox. Wrestling Fans Begin Movement To Bring WWE Star Back To Television

Let the people speak. Wrestling can be a complicated industry but ultimately it comes down to one thing: giving the fans something that they want to see. This sounds easier than it really is, but sometimes the fans can give you one heck of a hint. It can make things a lot better, though the promotion has to listen. That seems to be the case again, as some fans have made something clear. According to Wrestlinginc.com, a movement on Twitter to bring Mia Yim back to WWE television has begun in recent days. Using the hashtag “WeWantMiaYim”, fans have started asking WWE to allow Yim back on television. Yim, also known as Reckoning during her time in Retribution, has not wrestled on WWE television since the December 31 edition of Main Event.
