Alexa Bliss Gets Married Over The Weekend

Wedding Bells are ringing! According to People magazine, Alexa Bliss married her long-time sweetheart, musician Ryan Cabrera, over the weekend. Their wedding was “very non-traditional,” “rockstar” and self-described as “the s–tshow.” The couple was interviewed two weeks prior to their wedding; below are some highlights: On their wedding venue: “We were like, ‘Oh my God,’ it’s absolutely perfect,” Cabrera said. “It’s absolutely gorgeous and nestled within the mountains. At the bottom, there are vineyards, and behind the house there’s a beautiful lake. It’s just far enough outside of Los Angeles, too.” On coming down the aisle to Cabrera’s song “Worth It:” “I’m just trying to figure out how I’m going to get through this because it’s such an emotional song,” Cabrera said. “I don’t think she understands, because we were talking about doing our vows, and I was like, ‘Maybe we should do it in private.’ I cry a lot! I can’t help it. I’m that guy. It is what it is. I’m emotional, so it’s ..

Netflix Cancels GLOW’s Final Season Over Coronavirus

So close yet so far. Wrestling is the most unique form of entertainment in the world as it is some weird mixture of action, drama, comedy, romance and theater, plus the athletic side of it adding an entirely different layer. That makes for some of the most fascinating viewing to be found anywhere, but also an incredibly interesting industry for outsiders to look into. That was the case with a pretty big show, but now it has been cut off just before its ending. Back in 2017, GLOW debuted on Netflix and offered a different look at the world of wrestling. This was a very unique take on the industry as GLOW was based on the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling series from the 1980s, which was more of a show about wrestling than a wrestling show. The Netflix series has been well received and has even won a few Emmy Awards, but the series is not going to have the best finale. According to Deadline.com, Netflix has decided to cancel the series, meaning there will be no fourth and final season. The ..

Someone Else Isn’t Happy With Their Status In WWE (And You Can’t Blame Him)

We might have another one. It seems that we can’t go a week without having someone being unhappy with WWE and wanting to leave. A year ago that wouldn’t have been a very big deal, but with the rise of AEW and other promotions, there is suddenly a lot more reason to believe that someone who wants out may actually get out. We now have our latest candidate. Tyler Breeze sent out a series of Tweets on Sunday, seemingly venting frustration about being stuck on Main Event instead of being a regular performer on Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live. Breeze also talked to a fan, saying that a push like the one received by Jinder Mahal isn’t likely for him and also speaking to a referee, saying Breeze will see him tomorrow at Main Event. Breeze has performed regularly on Main Event this year with his last match on Monday Night Raw coming on December 28, 2018 in a battle royal. Eventually you say No Thank you I’m worth more…. — Prince Pretty (@MmmGorgeous) March 31, 2019 Is that what happens? ..

We Missed The Last Dance. A WWE Tag Team May Be Done With Little Fanfare.

Well they were nice while they lasted. It’s hard to say where things are going to go in the WWE. You might see a person go from a singles wrestler to a tag wrestler to being a manager or almost all points in between. It’s the nature of the business and sometimes someone is a great fit in one area but not so much in the others. At the moment, something that seemed successful might have come to an end. According to Tyler Breeze via Twitter, his team with Fandango, collectively known as Breezango, may be finished. Breeze was asked on Twitter to name a tag team that didn’t get enough love. Breeze responded “Breezan…never mind”, suggesting that the team is no more. Fandango has been recovering from an injury and has yet to make his return to TV. It is currently not known when he will be back or what he will be doing upon return. Breezan….. never mind ? https://t.co/s8hKV9N5ut — Prince Pretty (@MmmGorgeous) March 23, 2019 These guys can look like stars. Check out their appearance on 205 ..

Former NXT Superstar Returns To The Brand, Challenges Ricochet

The developmental division may have gotten a bit more pretty. On this past week’s episode of NXT, Tyler Breeze made his return to the brand, and challenged Ricochet for the North American Championship. You can see a clip of that match below: [This post contains video, click to play] From WWE.com: Breeze’s shocking return to the black-and-gold fortress came after Ricochet called on NXT management to find a challenger for his NXT North American crown. Adding value to Regal’s rolodex, Breeze proved to be the competition Ricochet was waiting for. Minutes into the match, Prince Pretty wrapped The One and Only with a pinning predicament that fluidly turned into a knee-bending leglock. From there, as “Breeze is gorgeous” chants filled Full Sail Live, it was clear the gritty effort by Breeze would push Ricochet to his limits, forcing the latter to fire on all cylinders. Late in the contest, Ricochet’s attempted springboard moonsault was met by a superkick from Breeze, leaving him room to..

Kurt Angle Says GLOW Is Helping Bring More Attention to Wrestling

<p>Kurt <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/angle/" title="Angle">Angle</a></strong> talked about the success of GLOW on his recent interview with the <a href="http://www.dallasobserver.com/arts/wwe-champion-kurt-angle-en-route-to-dallas-for-great-balls-of-fire-talks-changes-in-sport-9622067" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dallas Observer</a> recently.</p><p>He talked about GLOW’s recent popularity which led wrestling into mainstream environment again, and the main event <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/women/" title="women">women</a></strong>’s matches:</p><blockquote> <p>I would say that <em>GLOW</em>’s popularity had an influence on us having women’s main event matches. But the WWE has been working on their women’s division for years, and we’ve already been leading up to having the <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/girls/" title="girls">girls</a></strong> main event TV shows.</p> <p>A few years ago, WWE made the decision to stop referring to the women wrestlers as “divas.” When I was in WWE the first go-round, the women were having bikini pillow fights and it was all about the look of the girl. Now it’s all about their in-ring ability. <em>GLOW</em> is helping bring more attention to wrestling and women’s wrestling in particular. I think people who watch WWE will watch <em>GLOW</em> and vice-versa.</p> </blockquote><p>GLOW is Netflix’s latest show which is based on a promotion of the same name, called Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. The show was released via <a title="Netflix" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflix" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Netflix</a> on June 23, 2017.</p>
