Uh Oh? Bray Wyatt Misses Weekend MSG WWE Live Event, Not Around As Much Lately

That might be something. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and that means the biggest stars in the company are going to be on display in some of the show’s top stories. It would make sense to have them around as often as possible, but now one of the most well known names in WWE today seems to be missing in action, both from television and from a live event. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Flashback: Bayley Seemingly Special Backstage Moment In Tweet To Trish Stratus According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Bray Wyatt did not wrestle at this weekend’s WWE live event at Madison Square Garden. LOOK: Liv Morgan Appears At New York Knicks Game, Gives Man The Cold Shoulder

She’s not having it. Wrestlers are celebrities in a unique way, as while they are certainly known to the public, they are rarely known for anything but their time in the ring. That does not offer them many options for getting their name out there otherwise, but it does happen occasionally. Now we are seeing it again as a WWE star had a moment that is likely to get her noticed. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hi There: International Star Makes Official WWE Debut Liv Morgan was a guest at Tuesday’s New York Knicks game in Madison Square Garden to promote WWE’s upcoming live event in the same venue. During the night, Morgan was acknowledged as a guest of the team and presented with a customized Knicks jersey with her name on the back. Also during the night, Morgan was shown watching the game while a fan spoke to her, but she barely acknowledged anything he said. The Knicks’ Twitter account shared the clip, saying Morgan definitely did not hear a word of what was said to her. View this post on I..

Monday Night Raw Results – March 6, 2023

Monday Night Raw Date: March 6, 2023 Location: TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts Commentators: Kevin Patrick, Corey Graves We are less than a month away from Wrestlemania and tonight is going to be one of the bigger shows, as John Cena is back. There is a good chance that we get his Wrestlemania match set up this week, as he is running out of time. Other than that, we also get a face to face staredown between Logan Paul and Seth Rollins. Let’s get to it. The Bloodline (Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa) arrived earlier today, with Heyman reiterating Roman Reigns’ orders to deal with Sami Zayn. Now Zayn escaped on Friday, so he must be here in Boston tonight. Instead, Sikoa is going to solve the Kevin Owens problem tonight, and Jimmy will solve Zayn, whether Jey is here or not. Jimmy and Solo leave and Heyman calls Reigns. Kevin Owens vs. Solo Sikoa Owens jumps him before the bell but Sikoa fights back and we officially get going. Sikoa kicks away at him a few times and a right ha..

The Thinking Behind It: Here Is WWE’s Reasoning Behind Taking Money In The Bank To London

The big time. We are in a new year and that means it is time to start doing new things in WWE. That can include all kinds of new concepts, or perhaps doing something in a different way. WWE has a lot of options open to it and some of those can be rather interesting. One such change has already been announced and now we know a good bit more about how the plan came into being. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Up? Former NXT Champions Make Main Roster Debuts Last week, WWE announced that it would be holding its annual Money In The Bank event this year at the 02 Arena in London, England, marking the first time the event has been held outside of North America. According to Fightful Select, WWE could have held the show in a stadium and sold it out, but they felt that the 02 is the “Madison Square Garden of England” and wanted to run the venue. In addition, running Money In The Bank in England makes the event feel like one of the biggest of the year. There have been some big ones. Check out ..

WATCH: WWE Officially Announces Special Match For Royal Rumble

That’s, uh, something. We are coming up on the beginning of the new year and that means it is time to start getting ready for some new stuff. For WWE, that means continuing the build to the Royal Rumble, which will include sixty wrestlers being used in two matches. Now though, WWE is advertising something else for the show that might be quite the featured attraction. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Bray Wyatt Returns To Action At Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event A new advertisement is airing before videos on WWE’s YouTube channel advertising the “Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match” for the Royal Rumble. WATCH: Bray Wyatt Returns To Action At Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event

He’s back. There have been a lot of returns over the course of the year, with some huge names returning to WWE after lengthy absences. It can be quite the moment when one of these wrestlers comes back and we find out what is next for them. That was the case at Extreme Rules with Bray Wyatt, but he was still missing something a few months into his return. Now that has been solved. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: VIDEO: WWE Star Possibly Injured At Live Event, Helped From Ring WWE held a live event at Madison Square Garden this week, which featured a five way ladder match for the Intercontinental Title. Jinder Mahal complained that he was not in the match, with Wyatt interrupting him. This led to a match between the two, with Wyatt winning. This was Wyatt’s first match since his return and his first since WrestleMania 37 in April 2021. It had to happen. VIDEO: WWE Star Possibly Injured At Live Event, Helped From Ring

It can happen at any time. Wrestlers can get injured in any match on any night and there is no way to guarantee someone’s safety. That is the kind of thing that you never want to see unfortunately there are some matches that make getting injured even more possible than others. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again, as a wrestler had to be helped to the back after some issues. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not So Much: WWE Reportedly Makes Change To Wellness Policy, Partially Due To AEW WWE presented a live event at Madison Square Garden this week, featuring a five way ladder match for the Intercontinental Title. During the match, Kofi Kingston tried a double stomp off of a ladder onto Santos Escobar, landing on his knee upon impact. Escobar was forced to be helped to the back after the match. There is no word on how long, if at all, Escobar will be out of action. Gunther won the match to retain his title. This was nasty. Check out the stomp and Escobar being helped out: [This post..

Yes So Fast: Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Return Status

Welcome back. Injuries are a terrible thing to see in wrestling, as they can leave someone on the shelf for a long time to come. The only good thing about an injury is that most of the time, a wrestler is able to get back in the ring. That leads to a guessing game about when they will return, and now we know when one of the bigger WWE stars will be returning to the ring. IN CASE YOU’VE MISSED IT: He Did What? More On Huge Upset This Week On AEW Dynamite Drew McIntyre has been out of action over the last three weeks due to a ruptured eardrum, with the injury coming during Survivor Series: WarGames. McIntyre was pulled from a Tag Team Title match against the Usos last week as a result but no return date was announced. However, Madison Square Garden’s official website is advertising McIntyre’s return on December 26 in an eight man tag, teaming with Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens and Sheamus against the Bloodline. There is no word on if McIntyre will wrestle before then. McIntyre is worth ..

Survivor Series 2022 Results

Survivor Series 2022 Date: November 26, 2022 Location: TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts Commentators: Kevin Patrick, Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Wade Barrett It’s time for WarGames and no that still doesn’t feel right to say. We have a men’s and women’s version of the match here and that should make for a great core of the show. There are only five matches on the card but double WarGames is probably enough to carry things, especially with the Bloodline vs. Team Drew McIntyre as the likely headliner. Let’s get to it. The opening video is a five minute Ozzy Osborne music video, with Ozzy saying Welcome To WarGames at the end. Team Belair vs. Team Damage Ctrl Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Mia Yim Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross If you’re not familiar, we have two teams of five, with each team sending in a person for dive minutes. After that, the team who won the advantage coming into the match (Damage Ctrl in this case) will send in its second w..

REVIEW: Halloween Havoc 1998: Time’s Up

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net, starting today. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Halloween Havoc 1998 Date: October 25, 1998 Location: MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada Attendance: 10,663 Commentators: Tony Schiavone, Mike Tenay, Bobby Heenan We’re FINALLY here after six weeks of buildup. It’s a double main event with Warrior and Hogan in the battle for Hollywood’s sanity and ego as well as Diamond Dallas Page challenging Goldberg for the World Title. However the show is remembered far more for something that had nothing to do with the wrestling. Let’s get to it. The open..

REVIEW: Halloween Havoc 1999: The Zaniness Is Upon Us

Halloween Havoc 1999 Date: October 24, 1999 Location: MGM Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada Attendance: 8,464 Commentators: Bobby Heenan, Tony Schiavone The Russo Era is officially upon us as we got a big time preview this past Monday. However, this show is the real thing with Russo getting to direct where things go from here. Expect to see a lot more pointless talking, a lot more insanity and a lot more shouting about what I did to deserve this. Let’s get to it. The opening video focuses on Sid vs. Goldberg and mentions the whole “Goldberg can’t touch him” bit, which has basically been ignored. Hogan vs. Sting gets even less hype. A LOUD Weasel chant is ignored by Heenan as Tony announces that due to Rey Mysterio being injured, the Filthy Animals have been stripped of the Tag Team Titles. The solution? A triple threat hardcore title match for the belts with Kidman substituting for Mysterio. Well why bother having a match when you can just make it hardcore? They run down the rest of ..

Matt Cardona On Possible WWE Return: “Always Ready For Any Opportunity”

He’d take a call. There have been a lot of returns to WWE over the last few months and a lot of that has been credited to the new regime in charge of the company. As a result of Vince McMahon losing power in the company, some wrestlers who have left the company have been willing to consider a return. Now another company might be interested should the right offer come up. During a new interview with Metro, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, said that while he does not want to return to WWE, he would be willing to take a phone call. Cardona said that right now, he is focused on having the most fun and making the most money possible. However, he does want to wrestle in Madison Square Garden again and have another WrestleMania moment. In addition, Cardona issued a statement to Wrestling Inc., saying that he was busy with other projects but was “Alwayz Ready” for any opportunity. There is no word on WWE being interested in a Cardona return. Opinion: I don’t..

REVIEW: Hell In A Cell 2016: “Scary” Show

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Hell in a Cell 2016 Date: October 30, 2016 Location: TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton It’s the annual “scary” show as we have three matches inside the Cell. In this case we’ve got Rusev challenging Roman Reigns for the US Title, Kevin Owens defending the Raw World Title against Seth Rollins and, possibly, a main event of Charlotte going after Sasha Banks’ Women’s Title. If that’s true, it’s the biggest match in the history of women’s wrestling. Let’s get to it..

REVIEW: Royal Rumble 2008: The Shock Factor

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Royal Rumble 2008 Date: January 27, 2008 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City New York Attendance: 20,798 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole Jonathan Coachman, Joey Styles, Tazz I believe this is my fifth time reviewing this show but I’m always curious to see how much different it feels having recently watched the TV leading up to it. The show has been set for a long time now and that means we need to get on with the pay per view already. Of course there is the Royal Rumble, but the Raw W..

REVIEW: Saturday Night’s Main Event #35: Make Me Buy That Show

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Saturday Night’s Main Event #35 Date: August 18, 2007 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York Attendance: 16,827 Commentators: Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield, Jim Ross It’s time for the annual hour and a half long commercial for Summerslam which makes you want to watch the original run of this series again. This show has nothing advertised outside of an update on who Vince McMahon’s illegitimate child might be. The show doesn’t make a difference anyway but I’m almost worried about what is go..

That’s The Ticket! WWE Gets Some Good News About Monday Night Raw

Things are looking up. To say WWE is in a state of flux would be a huge understatement as there have been all kinds of changes taking place in the last few weeks. Those changes could have some very long term implications for the company and some individual people, but how positive they are remain to be seen. There is however some good news for WWE, at least in the short term. According to PWInsider.com, this week’s Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden was a sellout and had been for several days before the event. While there were tickets available on the secondary market, wrestlers and crew were told that there were no complimentary tickets available leading up to the day of the show. WWE has not run Madison Square Garden since a live event on March 5. Opinion: There was an old saying in WWE that amounted to as the Garden goes, so goes business. While it might not be the same as it was before, the Garden is still one of the most important places in all of wrestling, especially ..

Monday Night Raw Results – July 25, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: July 25, 2022 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton, Corey Graves We’re officially in an all new era as Vince McMahon is completely gone and HHH is now in charge of creative. That may sound very interesting on paper but I would give it another week before you see any major changes. There might be some surprises here and there this week though as it’s the go home show for Summerslam. Let’s get to it. We open with Miz and Logan Paul mid-brawl in the ring with referees having to break it up. With that out of the way, here is the Bloodline for a chat. Roman Reigns gets to the point by having the Garden acknowledge him before handing it off to Paul Heyman. After the mic goes out (Heyman: “We have a sound guy that must be from New Jersey or something. We want your name written down. You’re the next one out the door.”), we hear about everything Brock Lesnar has done over the years. Lesnar has ruined a lot of..
