AEW Revolution 2023 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts
It’s Revolution and things are not exactly feeling hot coming into the show. The main event is a sixty minute Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson challenging MJF for the World Title, which means there won’t be as much time for the usual deep card this time. Other than that, we have Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match and Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy in what seems to be a Buried Alive match. Let’s get to it. Zero Hour: Mark Briscoe/Lucha Bros vs. Ari Daivari/Varsity Athletes The Mark Briscoe vs. Mark Sterling and company feud continues for reasons I don’t think I follow. Briscoe also has some new friends in the Lucha Bros and that means we could be in for a new trio. The division could certainly use them, but for now they have to get rid of something like this, as AEW is giving them a nice spot to get their feet wet as a three man team. Love is in the air! People Magazine is reporting that Sonya Deville proposed to her longtime girlfriend Toni Cassano last week at a wine cellar cave in Towaco, New Jersey. Frankie Kazarian Leaves AEW; Joins Impact Wrestling
Sometimes you need a new job. At tonight’s Impact Wrestling Hard to Kill pay-per-view event, Frankie Kazarian announced that he had signed a new, long-term contract with the promotion. Kazarian cut a promo during the show, stating that after wrestling from Impact, he had to decide whether to remain complacent and be with “people he thought were his friends” or push himself and he chose to push himself. According to a report from PWInsider, after his 40-minute match with Josh Alexander, Kazarian asked AEW to be released and it was granted. It was said to be a completely amicable situation based on Kazarian wanting to push himself harder as he’s getting closer to the latter point of his career. In Impact, he’d had a chance to be more in the mix than he’d likely be able to get the opportunity to do in AEW, given how massive that company’s roster is. Tony Khan Reveals Details Of William Regal’s Return To WWE

During the media scrum for the upcoming ROH Final Battle pay-per-view this weekend, Tony Khan revealed some of the details behind William Regal’s departure from AEW and return to WWE. Khan said that Regal approached Megha Parekh, who is part of AEW’s legal team, with a request for the promotion not to renew his deal, as he wanted to return to WWE. Not only is his son working in WWE, but he also wanted to coach alongside some of his old friends now that Triple H has gained control of the company. Seth Rollins Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee At WWE Live Event
Friends Forever. WWE recently ran a live event in Rochester, New York, which featured a match between Seth Rollins and Austin Theory for the United States Championship. Rochester also happens to be the hometown of Brodie Lee, who tragically passed away in December 2020.
