Dynamite Date: March 8, 2023 Location: Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, California Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Tony Schiavone We’re done with Revolution and that means it is time to start getting ready for Double Or Nothing. That show is only two and a half months away so AEW actually needs to put some things together a little bit faster here. Other than that, we have a lot of fallout to get through so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. All-Atlantic Title: Orange Cassidy vs. Jay Lethal Cassidy is defending and everyone is sent to the back to start. Cassidy takes him down with an armdrag but gets reversed into a rollup for two. Back in and Lethal counters the tornado DDT but can’t get the Figure Four. They go outside with Lethal’s shoulder getting posted before going back inside, where he crotches Cassidy on top. The wrestlers are talented and there are all kinds of people who can do a variety of things, but only a few are able to connect with the audience in a special way. One of the more popular wrestlers with that ability might not be around the company for a little while. This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite featured a Face Of The Revolution ladder match with eight stars. Early in the match, Eddie Kingston and Ortiz brawled off with commentary saying they had to be separated. Following the show, AEW aired a video, showing Kingston being interviewed. Kingston’s entire statement was “I quit AEW. Peace.” There is no word on where this is going. That was abrupt. We are about a month away from Stand & Deliver and the card is starting to take shape. While nothing has happened yet and Roadblock is next week, you can probably figure out a lot of what is coming. Tony Khan Announces New AEW Show

More content is coming. This week on Dynamite, Tony Khan was scheduled to make a big announcement. That announcement was actually made by Adam Cole, in which he shared that a new AEW show was coming to TBS. Called “AEW: All Access”, the show will will follow some of the company’s biggest stars week-to-week as they seek to remain at the top of the company while also exploring rivalries between them. The show will also detail the lead up to major AEW events and pay-per-views. Cole also announced that the night that the show debuts, which will be sometime in March, he will also be making his return to in-ring competition.
