It was fun while it lasted. There are so many wrestlers on the WWE roster that it can be easy to forget about some of them. To make it even more complicated, there is also the NXT roster, which features stars who are not on television nearly as often. Occasionally someone will quietly slip away from the company and that seems to be the case again with an international star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Considering Two Huge Backlash Main Events According to Tokyo Sport, Sarray’s WWE contract has expired and she will be returning to the ring in Japan on May 16. Sarray signed with WWE in 2020 but her debut was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. She appeared infrequently on NXT and was eventually repackaged into an anime inspired character who transformed with a magical necklace. WATCH: WWE Releases First WrestleMania Movie Trailer Featuring Seth Rollins And Becky Lynch

Tis the season. We are less than six weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and that means it is time to start setting up the biggest weekend of the WWE’s year. This year’s show takes place in Los Angeles, California and just like last time, WWE is airing some parody movie trailers to tie into the Hollywood theme. The first one has already aired and features two of the bigger stars in WWE today. NXT is back on the road for the first time since Stand & Deliver all the way back in the spring. That is something that could do a lot of good for NXT and the card is pretty stacked as well. We have a bunch of title matches here, capped off by Bron Breakker defending the NXT Title against Grayson Waller inside a cage. Let’s get to it. The show was filmed after last week’s AEW taping and features special matches, plus presumably tributes and maybe classic matches from Briscoe’s career. Ring Of Honor Pure Rules Title: Hagane Shinno vs. Wheeler Yuta Yuta is defending under Pure Rules and Shinno is from Big Japan. They go with the grappling to start with Yuta working on a head/wristlock. Shinno shrugs that off and strikes away but gets caught with an Angle Slam for two. The company regularly features a variety of shows recapping recent action or focusing on interviews with wrestlers. Those shows have their own regular hosts, but a former one is now recalling a time when he was desperately trying to get off his own show. Well that’s….different. AEW has gone from non-existent to one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world in less than four years. The company’s main television show, Dynamite, has been a major part of its rise as the show regularly features the top AEW names in a variety of matches. However, this week’s show was a bit different, and an AEW star had his own version of things. This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite took place on Tuesday night instead of its usual Wednesday night time slot due to TBS’s coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs. During the Wednesday time slot, AEW’s Evil Uno live tweeted his own version of Dynamite, which did not air and had nothing to do with anything that took place on the Tuesday version of the show. Three New Stars Make AEW Debuts On Rampage (Contains Mild Spoilers)

They’re up next. AEW has built up a rather diverse and talented roster in its time. The company features a mixture of young, up and coming stars, current names and veterans, who have come together to create a mixture of matches and wrestlers. New names still need to be added though and that was the case again this week as three more names made their AEW debuts. The main event of this week’s AEW Rampage saw FTR and Shawn Spears defeat the Embassy in a six man tag match. Following the match, the Kingdom, comprised of Mike Bennett and Matt Taven with Maria Kanellis, interrupted in their AEW debuts. The Kingdom and the Embassy then joined forces to attack FTR until Samoa Joe and Wardlow made the save. This comes less than a week after the Kingdom reportedly finished up with Impact Wrestling. A sign of things to come. We are getting close to the end of the year and that means we are getting close to the start of the Road To WrestleMania. Next year’s WrestleMania will take place in southern California and should be one of the biggest events in WWE history. That is next year’s event, but WWE is already thinking about the following year’s WrestleMania and took a big step towards it this weekend. On Saturday, WWE held its annual Extreme Rules pay per view in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the home of WrestleMania 40. Before the show, WWE officially unveiled the logo for WrestleMania 40.
