A Way To Go: WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks 44 Year Old Could End Retirement Soon

He has an idea. There are some great wrestling stars who are no longer active wrestlers. Two WWE Legends Talk Helping Edge vs. The Judgment Day

He has some options. There are different ways to present a feud, with one of the options being to have one wrestler vs. a group. It can make things complicated for the one who is on their own and the situation often involves finding someone else to help in the fight. That is the case again and now two legends are at least considering offering their assistance to their old friend or rival. Over the last several months, Edge has feuded with the Judgment Day. While Edge has had assistance against the team, he has been outnumbered on multiple occasions. Now two legends are talking about the story. REVIEW: Extreme Rules 2016: Extreme Rematches

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Extreme Rules 2016 Date: May 22, 2016 Location: Prudential Center, Newark, New Jersey Commentators: Byron Saxton, John Bradshaw Layfield, Michael Cole It’s a night of rematches but in this case we have a few bonus stipulations to carry things forward. Let’s get to it. On the pre-show, here are the Dudley Boyz with someth..

Welcome back. There are a lot of people who are involved in making a wrestling show work. In addition to having the wrestlers in the ring doing everything they need to do, there are also the people behind the scenes who help put the whole presentation together. WWE Hall Of Famer Undergoes Spinal Surgery, Can Never Wrestle Again

That might be for the best. One of the major criticisms you will hear against wrestlers is that what they do is fake. While it is true that the results of the matches are pre-planned, what you see taking place in the ring is very real, as these people are putting their bodies on the line on a regular basis. That kind of work can wear on wrestlers after a bit and now one of them has had to get a lot of work done to repair the damage. WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has revealed that he underwent spinal fusion surgery to repair damage to his back. The damage was caused by years of wrestling and was said to be worse than the doctors originally believed. As a result, Dudley will never be able to wrestle again, though he had no plans to do so. There is no word on when Dudley will return to his position as a WWE producer. WWE Legend Announces He Needs Back Surgery

That could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries in the wrestling world and some of them are a lot worse than others. Some of them are the kinds that take place all at once but others are things that have been built up over the course of a long career. Either kind needs to be taken care of though and that seems to be the case again with another wrestling legend. During the latest edition of his Table Talk podcast, WWE Hall of Famer and current producer D-Von Dudley announced that he will be undergoing back surgery in the near future. Dudley said that he has been dealing with the issue since 2010 and should be missing about two to three weeks of work. WWE Hall Of Famer Turned Down Vince McMahon’s Offer Of A Producer Job

Not everyone is into that. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world but that does not mean it is for everyone. There are a variety of wrestling fans as well as wrestlers who do not seem to like the way WWE is run these days. That can come from a lot of different directions, but a lot of it comes from the way the wrestling product is presented. That wound up being the deciding factor in a legend not sticking with the company. Bubba Ray Dudley was a guest on Stories With Brisco And Bradshaw and discussed Vince McMahon offering him a spot as a producer with WWE. However, Dudley turned down the position because he did not want to be someone who carried orders from the WWE office to the wrestlers. Instead, Dudley wanted to try and help the wrestlers by being creative in putting together their matches. He said he would be interested in trying the job one day. Dudley has a deep background in wrestling. Check out some of his time in the industry: [This post cont..

How did you think it would go? One of the biggest wrestling stories of the week has been the pretty much disaster that was Charlotte vs. Nia Jax on this week’s Monday Night Raw. Ronda Rousey Working With WWE Names On Wrestling Project

A hope shot? It is very rare that you see a wrestler become one of the biggest stars in a promotion in the blink of an eye, but that was the case when Ronda Rousey debuted back in 2018. Now we might be seeing her doing something at least related to WWE. According to PWInsider.com, Rousey has been filming content for the ESPN+ series Peyton’s Places with WWE’s Paul Heyman and D-Von Dudley. WWE News: Finn Balor Wants To Form A Dream Team

Holy dream team! Tag team wrestling has rarely been WWE’s strong suit. Yes they had a great run back in the 1980s, but other than that and the period of Edge and Christian, the Hardys and the Dudley Boyz, there have not exactly been a lot of great times for WWE’s tag team divisions. They have a tendency to group big names together as bigger tag teams, which one wrestler is teasing doing again. While it has died down a bit in recent years, there was a time when the Bullet Club was the hottest group in professional wrestling. The team went from a group of wrestlers in New Japan Professional Wrestling to one of the biggest things around, to the point where they had quite a bit to do with the rise of AEW. Over the years, the stable has had quite a few members, but now two of them may be up for a WWE reunion. Finn Balor was recently interviewed by CBS Sports where he mentioned a potential tag team with AJ Styles. Balor spoke about his respect for AJ Styles but said that their scheduled ha..
