Without fans watching, there is not going to be much of a future to the place. Drawing an audience is what matters most at the end of the day and now the biggest wrestling company in the world has set a new record when it comes to drawing in money through fans. Farewell: AEW Star Not Likely Returning To The Company

Maybe later. AEW has quite the talent roster, comprised of a varying mixture of wrestlers. This includes established veterans, current top stars and young up and coming talent. With so much talent available, it is impossible to keep track of everyone and sometimes a wrestler might not be able to fit in on the roster. That is the case again and you might not be seeing a young star again. According to Fightful, Jake Atlas is not expected back with AEW in the future. Atlas has not appeared with the company since he tore his ACL in January. Despite being shown in the “Jake Atlas Is All Elite” graphic that normally means that he is signed to a contract, Atlas was on a per appearance deal. Since then, Atlas has been arrested for domestic violence. AEW has not commented on Atlas’ situation. AEW Star Reportedly Arrested Over Domestic Violence Charges

That’s a serious one. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world and some of them are among the most larger than life characters that you will find in any form of entertainment. Watching them on television can be a lot of fun and you do not know what you might get to see from one week to the next. However, these wrestlers have lives once the cameras turn off as well and now one of them is having a serious issue. According to PWInsider.com, AEW’s Jake Atlas has been arrested and reportedly charged with domestic assault. Atlas had called his partner to pick him up at a bar before suggesting that the two go to a third person’s home. This resulted in an argument when Atlas’ partner paid more attention to the third person involved than Atlas. Eventually Atlas was taken back to the apartment he shares with his partner, who attempted to leave. Atlas reportedly attacked him and scratched his partner’s arm and tore his shirt. NXT Locker Room Reportedly Unhappy Over Nash Carter’s Firing

It might not go well. While a lot of wrestling is a regular day to day operation, there are some occasions where things do not go as usual. That may often be for a bad situation, and it can cause some issues for the other people in the promotion. That is the case at the moment in WWE, as a recent release is not going well for the people who are still with the company. Earlier this month, WWE released Nash Carter over allegations of domestic violence from his wife, Kimber Lee, and a photo of Carter with a Hitler mustache. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the NXT locker room is not happy with the decision to release Carter, as he was well liked backstage. The photo is said to be from when Carter, now 27, was 19 years old. WWE is said to have been aware of the situation before the story went public. We need someone new. Champions are some of the most important people in all of wrestling. Holding a title means something in the industry as it shows fans who the most important wrestlers are, as those shiny belts are easy to spot. Someone losing a title means a lot, and now that has taken place again, though this time it wasn’t inside of a wrestling ring. Last weekend, MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) won the NXT Tag Team Titles for the second time, defeating the Creed Brothers and reigning champions Imperium. Earlier this week, Carter was released from the company following domestic violence allegations and the release of a photo of him impersonating Hitler. WWE has announced that the titles have officially been vacated, with new champions being crowned next week on NXT. That’s a twist. Wrestling is a weird industry, as it is known that the wrestlers are acting and playing characters, but at the same time, it is their job to make you believe that what they are doing is real. That can make it more interesting when someone does something outside of the ring, which seems to be the case again. This time though, it isn’t entirely clear what has WWE more upset. Earlier this week, WWE released NXT Tag Team Champion Nash Carter after his wife Kimber Lee accused him of domestic violence as well as wearing a Hitler mustache and doing a Nazi salute. According to Wrestling Observer Live, WWE released Carter due to the photo and not the violence allegations, as Lee’s statement was seen as unreliable. BREAKING: WWE Releases Reigning Champion Over Domestic Violence Allegations

That’s a big change. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today but sometimes some of them leave the company for one reason or another. That might be for something rather negative and those situations can often be for a serious matter. That seems to be the case again, as a rather prominent wrestler has been let go from the company over an allegation. According to Sean Ross Sapp, NXT Tag Team Champion Nash Carter has been released from WWE. This comes after Carter’s wife, Impact Wrestling wrestler Kimber Lee, accused him of domestic violence and posted a photo of him with a Hitler mustache and doing a Nazi salute. However, the wife of Carter’s partner Wes Lee has posted a tweet of her own, saying that Carter is the victim of Kimber Lee’s mental abuse and Carter and Kimber Lee have not been together. Alberto Del Rio and Paige were involved in a romantic relationship from at least May 2016 until December 2017, during which the two were engaged to be married. During their time together, the two had various issues and altercations, including drug issues and alleged domestic violence events. Rich Swann had quite the whirlwind of a 2017 in a short span of time as he was once a WWE superstar, then he and the company mutually agreed to part ways, and following that Swann decided that he no longer wanted to be a pro wrestler and announced his retirement from the sport. In December of 2017 Swann was suspended indefinitely by WWE for violating their zero tolerance policy for domestic violence. Rich Swann and his wife Vannarah Riggs, also known as 'Su Yung' were involved in an altercation with one another that resulted in Swann being arrested. Rich Swann was arrested on charges of battery and false imprisonment, and in January of this year the charges that were placed against him were dismissed due to lack of evidence to find him guilty. Campbell McLaren stated in a recent interview that Alberto El Patron (Jose Rodriguez) will be stepping down from his figurehead role as the president of Combate Americas, according to <a href="http://fightnetwork.com/law/combate-americas-c-e-o-states-alberto-el-patron-to-step-down-as-president/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Fight Network</a>.</p><p><em>“He’s probably stepping back his official roles from Combate and he’s going to focus on more on wrestling for the next year or two. Paige Might Be Charged With Battery Over Airport Incident

<p><a href="http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/paige-police-suggest-charged-airport/#.WW-qGIjys2z" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pro Wrestling Sheet</a> reports that <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/paige" title="Paige">Paige</a></strong> could possibly be charged with battery in the incident that involved Alberto El Patron at the airport a few <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/weeks/" title="weeks">weeks</a></strong> back. It will be up to the State Attorney’s office to make the final decision.</p><p>El Patron was originally being investigated for the charge and his investigation is still not complete. A representative from the Orlando PD told the site the following statement:</p><p><em>“OPD detectives have <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/found/" title="found">found</a></strong> that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis with Battery (Domestic Violence). Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”</em></p>

<p>Jeff Jarrett held conference call today and addressed the allegations of Alberto El Patron’s domestic violence situation that he is currently involved in. Here are a few highlights:</p>Jeff Jarrett said the situation with Alberto is unfortunate. They are “digging into this matter” Jarrett said he is picking brains of NFL and NHL coaches/personal regarding Alberto situation. It’s a case by case basis when dealing athletes. When a caller <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/asked/" title="asked">asked</a></strong> if they were going to edit Patron off episodes of Impact, they snubbed the caller and moved on to the next question. When asked about if the GFW title is currently vacant, Jarrett wouldn’t comment much on it as there is currently an investigation going on. Witness Reveals What Really Went Down Between Paige & Alberto Del Rio

<p>The witness who saw the altercation between <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/paige" title="Paige">Paige</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/alberto-del-rio" title="Alberto Del Rio">Alberto Del Rio</a></strong> recent <a href="https://heavy.com/sports/2017/07/alberto-del-rio-paige-domestic-abuse-incident-witness-uncle-cocaine/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">spoke</a> to Heavy.com regarding the situation. Here are a few notes from what actually transpired:</p><p>– The witness admits to discreetly attempting to take pictures of Paige as she walked and talked on the phone until she was noticed. Paige walked back into the restaurant and one of the four people at her table walked out, presumably to see if she was still there.</p><p>– Paige came storming back out of the restaurant “crying and yelling.” Del Rio, visibly “soaked” in liquid, chased after her as she fled onto the nearby tram system. Page told Del Rio, ‘You’re such an abusive husband, I hate you. You’ve ruined my life, you’ve ruined my career’” Del Rio and Paige continued their argument for a <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/short/" title="short">short</a></strong> while on the tram car as Del Rio said, “Check her bag, she’s got all the coke in it, it’s all hers.” This is when the witness started recording the audio.</p><p>– “<em>Let’s do it, get the cops,”</em> Del Rio can be heard saying in the video. Paige responds by saying, <em>“Just stay out of my life, leave me the f**k alone, I’m trying to get away from you.”</em> This is when Del Rio started claiming that Paige assaulted him.</p><p>– The witness believed the argument between the pair started because Del Rio said inflammatory comments about one of Paige’s family members.</p><p><em>“From what I gather, he said something like, ‘I hope your f***ing uncle dies tomorrow, and grabs her wrist because he was mad she was on the phone for so long,”</em> said the witness. <em>“They wanted to leave, so he got mad and grabbed her wrist. She got upset and threw water on him and she ran out.”</em></p><p>After the audio stopped recording, the witness said that she stayed along with Paige and asked if she needs any assistance.</p><p><em>“I just wanted to help at that point,”</em> she said, noting that an airport security guard with a K-9 stopped Del Rio <em>“because they could smell the alcohol.”</em></p>

Alberto Del Rio Under Investigation for Domestic Violence Incident

<p>Former WWE Superstar & current GFW Champion <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/alberto-del-rio" title="Alberto Del Rio">Alberto Del Rio</a></strong> was detained by police in Orlando yesterday according to witnesses. PWInsider contacted the <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/local/" title="local">local</a></strong> police and was issued this statement:</p><p><em>“There was an incident at Orlando International Airport at about 3 p.m. Sunday involving Jose Rodriguez (DOB 5/25/1977) The reported incident was a domestic violence battery, and it is still under investigation. No arrests have been made as of this time, but the case remains open. That is all the information we have for release at this time.”</em></p><p>Additionally, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2017/07/10/alberto-del-rio-investigated-for-domestic/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">TMZ reports</a> that an eyewitness said that “there was an altercation” between El Patron and a female companion. While cops have not released the woman’s identity, a witness says <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/paige" title="Paige">Paige</a></strong> was at the airport with El Patron.</p>
