PHOTO: Alexa Bliss Literally Suffers Bloody Injury Coming Home to Her Dogs

Alexa Bliss is one of the most marketable stars that WWE has under contract, which often means a crazy schedule that keeps her away from home for significant stretches of time. Anyone with pets will tell you how hard it is to leave them for an extended period of time. The five-time WWE Women’s Champion just went more than 20 days being home. RingSideNews followed the story of her day on social media. The story goes that she went home for a “visit” and could only stay for about 8 hours. However, her dogs were so happy to see her after basically three weeks away that Alexa Bliss suffered a bloody lip in all the excitement. Potentially sensitive photo is below: Get home – dogs are so excited that they split my lip… fantastic pic.twitter.com/6NmIcHjkOj — Lexi (Kaufman) Cabrera (@AlexaBliss_WWE) November 18, 2022 It’s not anything that will keep her out of the ring, but we’ve all gotten a happy scratch or love bite from our pets, especially after some time apart. It’s just a testament ..

SmackDown Results – November 12, 2021

Smackdown Date: November 12, 2021 Location: Scope Arena, Norfolk, Virginia Commentators: Pat McAfee, Michael Cole We are nine days away from Survivor Series and it would be nice if they talked about the show a little bit more. The show has been acknowledged more than once, but the champion vs. champion matches have gotten almost no attention whatsoever. I’d love to see the show built up some more, but we have too many other things to get to first. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Here is Sonya Deville, with the Smackdown women’s Survivor Series team: Shotzi/Natalya/Shayna Baszler/Aliyah, but they need a fifth. That would be the captain of the team: Sasha Banks. Shotzi isn’t happy with this though and is ready to fight Banks, but here is Naomi to come out and get in Sonya’s face. Naomi hits Baszler and the fight is on. Sasha Banks/Aliyah/Naomi vs. Natalya/Shotzi/Shayna Baszler Banks bulldogs Natalya down to start so it’s off to Baszler in a hurry. That earns her some running knees..

Monday Night Raw Results – September 10, 2018

Monday Night Raw Date: September 10, 2018 Location: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, Louisiana Commentators: Renee Young, Michael Cole, Corey Graves It’s the go home show for Hell in a Cell, though I’m not sure how much attention that is going to get since we’re about a month away from Super Show-Down and a month and a half away from Evolution. WWE doesn’t seem to mind about going that far into the future so Sunday might not get the most attention. Let’s get to it. Here are Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman to open things up with the roster (the lower portions of it that is) around the ring. Dolph says we told you so because they beat the Shield down. We get a recap of Strowman vs. Reigns, which has morphed into the trio vs. the Shield. This led up to last week’s huge beatdown, with most of the roster getting together to wreck the Shield, with Seth Rollins nearly being thrown through a police van window. Back in the arena, Strowman calls Ziggler and McIntyre his Dogs..

What Were the Original Plans for the ‘Mixed Match Challenge?’

The Mixed Match Challenge has had varied success since WWE created the show for users on Facebook Watch live after ‘Smackdown Live,’ but the Inquisitr has explained what the original plans for the series were. As it stands, the Mixed Match Challenge is a single elimination tournament between teams of both face and heel competitors from ‘Raw’ and ‘Smackdown Live.’ The winning team will be donating money to a charity of their choice. The initial plan for the finale was to pit Asuka and The Miz up against Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman. Both of these teams represent the ‘Raw’ brand and have significant charities attached to their names. Strowman and Bliss aim to raise money for Connor’s Cure. [This post contains video, click to play] Meanwhile, Miz and Asuka are raising money for Rescue Dogs Rock. [This post contains video, click to play] The events of the finale would set up two ‘WrestleMania’ matches in Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship and The Miz vs. Braun..

WWE Had to Shorten the Women’s Championship to Fit Alexa Bliss

RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently spoke with Great Day Houston. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Why she chose to get into professional wrestling: “It’s such an amazing sport, I watched it growing up and it was never really something I knew I could get into, but once I got the opportunity I knew I had to get on it and I knew I had to try for it. I told my mom, I said, ‘Mom I’m going to try out for WWE.’ Her response was, ‘The heck you are!’ She was like ‘You’re are not doing that!’ So I had to try out without her knowing but know she’s like the biggest supporter and so proud of me.”

Being on Total Divas: “It’s a lot of fun I’m just starting to get into it. They filmed us all in Japan which was really cool, we got to dress up in all these really cool character outfits and it was a lot of fun. It’s really cool, except like, I myself am a very private person and I’m not as mean as I appear to be. But its been a lot of fun and its been really cool to see how everything works. I just feel bad cause sometimes they as me ‘What are you doing this week?’ And I’m like ‘I’m sitting at home with my dogs watching Netflix, what are you doing?'”

Her championship title: “This is the RAW Women’s Championship. What’s funny is – this is a little backstage information – the championship had to be shortened for me because it was so big on me, they actually had to take off size to let it fit me. But that’s why I’m ‘Five Feet Of Fury.'”

You can check out footage from the interview embedded below:
