That’s something special. There are all kinds of things that need to come together to make a wrestler a success. At or near the top of the list is the ability to talk, as it can make the fans care about you in a way that almost anything in the ring just cannot do. Being able to use the right words help, and now another WWE star is revealing a special privilege that she has when it comes to talking. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Oh No: Former Impact Wrestling Star Arrested For Violating Order of Protection Involving Wife During a new interview with Sports Media with Richard Deitsch, Monday Night Raw star Rhea Ripley revealed that she has some creative freedom with promos. While there are promos where she is required to say certain things to get points across and cannot change much, she has “free range” on backstage segments. Such freedom when it comes to promos are not common in WWE, with only a handful of wrestlers being granted such permission. Ripley is quite the star. Check out her rece..
That’s a special moment. While wrestling is scripted and the results are known ahead of time, there are certain things about it that are more realistic than others. At the end of the day, these wrestlers are out there doing their jobs in front of millions of people. That can make for some tricky situations as they try to do their work while keeping their minds right. Sometimes that needs a boost, and that was the case in an infamous moment. He’s back. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE, following a six month absence. McMahon is back to facilitate a sale of the company, though it has led to wonder about whether he will rejoin the creative team. While there is nothing to suggest that he has done it so far, McMahon did do something this week that he has not done since his return. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Jey Uso Makes His Decision About The Bloodline According to Fightful Select, McMahon was backstage this week at Monday Night Raw. There was no official reason for him to be there, though one WWE talent suggested that he was there to see John Cena, who was returning at the show. According to PWInsider.com, there was nothing to suggest that McMahon had anything to do with the show’s creative. Finally, according to Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful.com, McMahon is reported to now be sporting a mustache. Vince McMahon……had a mustache backstage…..per one of the talent I heard fr..
That would be a change. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE. McMahon has taken his former role as Chairman of the Board, with the reported goal of selling the company. This has led to the question of whether McMahon will return to the creative side of the company. Now we might know a little more about such a change. Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar accepted MVP’s offer of a match against Omos at WrestleMania 39. The match would be a first time pairing as Lesnar and Omos have never faced each other. According to WrestleVotes on Twitter, the match was McMahon’s idea, who pushed it through and made it happen. WWE and its executives have consistently said that McMahon has no impact on the creative side of the company. I’m told the highly anticipated, very compelling (??) Brock Lesnar vs Omos WrestleMania matchup was the idea of one specific, powerful person who pushed it through. pic.twitter.com/VpcdEFsLzJ — WrestleVotes..
Yeah that might shake things up. There have been a lot of changes to WWE in recent months but the biggest change of all is still in the works. By the end of the year, the company is likely to have been sold to a buyer still to be determined. That is going to shake things up in a huge way and the future is not clear. That is certainly the situation for one of the company’s higher profile names. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: RUMOR KILLER On Vince McMahon Returning To WWE Creative During a post on Twitter, SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee questioned his future in WWE. McAfee cited his daughter being born soon, as well as the potential sale. Depending on the owner, McAfee was not sure if he “wanted to work/make money for those people.” McAfee took a hiatus from WWE to work on ESPN’s College GameDay but did return for one night to call the Royal Rumble. There is no word on when McAfee is scheduled to return to WWE commentary. https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1628516628991447040 McAfee has been..
Maybe not? Vince McMahon’s return to WWE has shaken up just about everything in the company. McMahon is back to negotiate a sale of the company and that is going to chance the company’s future in a big way. At the same time, the question has become what else McMahon will be doing. This week we saw some speculation about just that, but it might have been jumping the gun. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Done: Wrestling Legend Goes A Step Further To Prove His Retirement Earlier this week, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful sent out a tweet saying that a WWE talent had said they “believed” McMahon had returned to the WWE creative team, though this was never confirmed. Sapp sent out another tweet later in the day, saying that other sources have said that the original statement was “unfounded”. WWE has been adamant about the fact that McMahon has no intentions of returning to WWE creative and is only interested in selling the company. This week, a WWE talent reached out and told me they believed Vinc..
Clearing things up. It had been previously reported that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was backstage at Raw this past week and was expected to be on the show. However, that ended up not happening, and Stratus left the arena before the end of the show. According to a report from Ringside News, Stratus had a long meeting with Triple H was and then her participation in the show changed after that. It is unknown whether she was angry about the situation and any report saying there was an “issue with creative” cannot be substantiated. Trish Stratus was backstage for #WWERAW this week. That would have been different. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in just a few years and the upgrades have been quite the improvement. Rather than having women’s wrestling as little more than filler on a show, it has since become some of the more important material in all of WWE. That is still the case to this day, though there was quite the change in what we saw this week. They have people in mind. There are some very talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, but there are also several top names outside of the company’s circle. Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, a championship that he set his sights on when he returned to WWE last April. The match has already been built, and now we know a bit more about one of the biggest pieces. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: In Advance: Possible Spoiler On Elimination Chamber Title Match This week on Monday Night Raw, Rhodes and Reigns’ advocate Paul Heyman had a face to face showdown, where they talked about their history with Cody’s father Dusty. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the segment that aired was different than the one originally planned. The original segment did not involve Heyman, who was in town because he is part of the creative team for any segment involving Brock Lesnar. Heyman and Cody put together the final segment, which was designed to make Cody vs. Reigns feel like the biggest m..
It’s a new way to go. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the 2023 Royal Rumble event was said to have been the “easiest” that it’s has been in a long time, with regard to putting the show together. This is due to the lack of creative involvement from Vince McMahon. This year’s Royal Rumble was the first under Triple H and the report states that there was a good feeling about the show in the end, including the morale among talent. Furthermore, it was said that from a day-to-day and weekly basis, the atmosphere is much more laid back. One of the only reminders of Vince’s influence remains the “Vince’s office” directional sign that hasn’t been changed since he left but points to a section of the backstage area that is completely different. Vince has been notorious for changing things at the last minute and creating a sense of chaos and unease right before a show goes on the air. The report further states that the process of the Rumble itself was the easiest in a long..

Not quite the same. The biggest wrestling story of the year thus far has been Vince McMahon’s return to WWE. McMahon more or less forced his way back to control of the company and the question remains what kind of impact that is going to have on WWE. The boss has spoken. According to a report from Fightful, Triple H held a meeting for all talent prior to tonight’s episode of Raw. This was similar to the talent meeting that he held prior to last week’s episode of SmackDown. At the meeting, Triple H reassured the Raw roster that he is still in charge of creative and that Vince McMahon’s return to the company had no effect on that side of things. He also debunked last week’s rumors that the company had already been sold to the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund. Kevin Dunn and Executive Vice President of Talent for WWE Dan Ventrelle were also speaking at the WWE Raw talent meeting. Editor’s Opinion: I am glad that he did this with the Raw roster, much like he did with SmackDown. In the modern age that we live in, it’s often easy for a lot of information to be out there, and determining which is fact, and which is fiction, can be difficult at times. It’s good to see the executives stepping up and being as transparent as possible w..
