Therefore the show is call Slam Dunk as AEW stacks the card because it might be able to draw a good bit more fans this week. Hopefully that is the case as Rampage hasn’t felt important in a few weeks now. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Trios Titles: Elite vs. AR Fox/Top Flight The Elite is defending and since this is Slam Dunk, there are a lot basketballs as props. Dante and Nick start things off by throwing a basketball at each other. Nick hits Matt in the face with the ball by mistake though and the champs are kicked out to the floor early on. Fox dives onto all of them in a pair of dives and then adds a third with a basketball. Back in and Omega grabs a headlock before running Fox over with a shoulder. The basketball comes back in and ..

AEW Star Launched Into Orbit During Wednesday’s Dynamite (It’s A Long Evil Uno Story)

Well that’s….different. AEW has gone from non-existent to one of the biggest wrestling promotions in the world in less than four years. The company’s main television show, Dynamite, has been a major part of its rise as the show regularly features the top AEW names in a variety of matches. However, this week’s show was a bit different, and an AEW star had his own version of things. This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite took place on Tuesday night instead of its usual Wednesday night time slot due to TBS’s coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs. During the Wednesday time slot, AEW’s Evil Uno live tweeted his own version of Dynamite, which did not air and had nothing to do with anything that took place on the Tuesday version of the show. Here is what Uno said took place: The show begins! We have a special commentary team of Excalibur, Daddy Magic, Bill Regal, one of The Boys (can’t tell which one) and of course, Evil Uno! #ItsExplosive — EVIL UNO is a GOOD GUY (@EvilUno) October ..

AEW Forbidden Door Live Coverage And Results

Forbidden Door Date: June 26, 2022 Location: United Center, Chicago, Illinois Commentators: Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone It’s a special show as we have a host of international guest stars from New Japan coming in for a bunch of big time matches. The main event is for the Interim AEW World Title as CM Punk being stripped of the title was off the table. Other than that, we have a series of title matches which should make for a great show. Let’s get to it. Buy-In: Hirooki Goto/Yoshi-Hashi vs. QT Marshall/Aaron Solo Solo and Hashi start things off with Hashi working on a headlock. A running shoulder drops Solo again so it’s off to Marshall vs. Goto, with the latter knocking Marshall around without much trouble. Solo comes back in and cheap shots Hashi though, allowing Marshall to get in a cheap shot on Goto. That lasts all of a few seconds before the big beatdown is on to put Solo back in trouble. Everything breaks down and Marshall’s cartwheel tumbling dive drops Goto and Hashi. ..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – June 20, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: June 20, 2022 Location: Pinnacle Bank Arena, Lincoln, Nebraska Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton We are less than two weeks away from Money in the Bank and that means we are probably in for some qualifying matches. Those can make for some interesting showdowns, though I’m not sure I would get my hopes up for that around here. On top of that, Riddle gets to deal with the fallout of losing to Roman Reigns on Smackdown. Let’s get to it. In Memory Of Tim White. Here is Bianca Belair for a chat. After getting in her catchphrases, she says that the match with Rhea Ripley isn’t happening….for now. So who gets the title shot at Money in the Bank instead? Tonight we have five women competing, in the form of Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Asuka and Becky Lynch, in a fatal five way match to see who gets the shot. All five competitors come out one by one to say they should get the title shot while also taking shots at each other. Belair says she is..

SmackDown Live Coverage And Results – June 10, 2022

Smackdown Date: June 10, 2022 Location: Raising Cane’s River Center Arena, Baton Rouge, Louisiana Commentators: Michael Cole, Pat McAfee It’s officially Money In The Bank season and that means we need to have some qualifying matches. Maybe they can even play the theme song fourteen times. Other than that, we might get to hear about something related to Roman Reigns wrestling again sometime in the future. But probably not. Let’s get to it. Commentary hypes up tonight’s historic show. Money In The Bank Qualifying Match: Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre In the back, McIntyre throws Butch around and says he’ll see Sheamus out there. They hit each other hard to start with McIntyre getting the better of it off some chops. A Michinoku Driver gives Drew two but Sheamus sends him to the apron for the forearms to the chest. That’s reversed so Drew can hit his own, only to have Butch offer a distraction. Something like White Noise on the apron drops McIntyre and we take a break. Back with Sheamus hi..

Hell In A Cell 2022 Date: June 5, 2022 Location: Allstate Arena, Rosemont, Illinois Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton, Pat McAfee, Michael Cole It’s time for one of the big gimmick shows and I think you know what is headlining. However, things have changed a bit at the last minute, as Cody Rhodes has suffered a torn pectoral muscle, meaning his match against Seth Rollins will be more than a bit different. The match is still on and inside the Cell, but I’m not sure how much Rhodes can do. Let’s get to it. The opening video looks at some of the history of the Cell before moving on to talk about almost every match on the card. NXT In Your House 2022 Live Coverage And Results

NXT In Your House 2022 Date: June 4, 2022 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph We’re back with another special show as NXT gets in on another WWE pay per view weekend. This time around they’re dusting off another classic with In Your House, which has very little to do with what we’ll be seeing. The card is fairly short but there are five titles being defended, making it pretty stacked at the same time. Let’s get to it. The opening video is based on the old In Your House intros, complete with Todd Pettingill doing the voiceover to run down the card. Joe Gacy gets to come through the house’s door and lights a poster on fire. Legado del Fantasma vs. Tony D’Angelo/Stacks/Two Dimes The losing team has to join the winners. During Legado’s entrance, the referee finds a crowbar, which seems to have been planted by D’Angelo and company. We also get a video with Tony Gallante narrating about how this is about controlling the streets and i..

Dynamite Date: June 1, 2022 Location: Kia Forum, Los Angeles, California Commentators: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross We’re done with Double Or Nothing and for once that means that we are going to be building towards another show. This time it’s Forbidden Door, which is going to includes a bunch of special matches between AEW and New Japan. Odds are that includes new World Champion CM Punk so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. CM Punk/FTR vs. Gunn Club/Max Caster Caster’s rap promises to make FTR pay like Amber Heard and that FTR is only here because of Punk’s coattails. Then the Club gets the city wrong twice before Bowens gets to do it right. Harwood takes Austin into the corner to start and hands it off to Wheeler. Austin powers him into another corner so Colton can come in, only to get backdropped. Punk comes in and drops a top rope ax handle onto the arm, much to the fans’ delight. Caster manages to send him into the corner but Harwood is right back with a powerslam. A do..

AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 Live Coverage And Results

Double Or Nothing 2022 Date: May 29, 2022 Location: T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada Commentators: Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone AEW is back on pay per view and that should mean good things. The main event will feature CM Punk challenging Hangman Page for the World Title, but the question is around MJF. While he is scheduled to face Wardlow in a match a long time in the making, he has had some issues with AEW and there is a chance he won’t show up. That wouldn’t exactly be great to see so let’s get to it. Buy In Show: Tony Nese/Mark Sterling vs. Hookhausen Hook and Nese start things off with Hook taking him down without much trouble. Danhausen comes in and is allowed to grab a headlock before Nese runs him over. The curse is loaded up but Danhausen goes with the middle rope hurricanrana instead. Nese drops Danhausen again and it’s Sterling coming in to stomp away in the corner. Sterling misses a legdrop though and Danhausen suplexes his way to freedom, allowing the tag off to H..

Smackdown Date: May 27, 2022 Location: Simmons Bank Arena, Little Rock, Arkansas Commentators: Michael Cole, Pat McAfee We’re almost up to Hell In A Cell and that means it might be time to actually add some things to the card. I’m not sure what the main event is actually supposed to be but maybe we get something else this week. If nothing else, New Day has a mystery partner to FINALLY wrap up their feud with the Brawling Brutes. I’m sure. Let’s get to it. We open with a recap of the Usos taking out RKBro last week to unify the Tag Team Titles. Randy Orton was injured pretty badly last week to put him on the shelf for the time being. Here are the Usos for a chat. After thanking Roman Reigns for making this possible, we hear about how the Usos recently celebrated twelve years in this company and they couldn’t have done it without the fans. The fans have cheered and booed them while seeing their up and definitely (Jey’s word) seeing their downs. After all their time together and all th..

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – May 25, 2022

Dynamite Date: May 25, 2022 Location: Michelob Ultra Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada Commentators: Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone It’s Double Or Nothing weekend and that means it is time to get in the last Dynamite before the pay per view. That means it is time to find out who will be in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments, which should make for some interesting matches for the pay per view. It’s also the third anniversary of the first AEW show so this should be good. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Wardlow vs. Shawn Spears In a cage with MJF as the referee and Wardlow has to win here to get MJF on Sunday. Wardlow is still handcuffed to start so Spears gets in a few shots, allowing MJF to stomp away in the corner. The double teaming is on, including sending Wardlow into the steps. MJF stops to talk too much trash though and gets hit in the face, allowing Wardlow to drop Spears. The Swanton connects but MJF won’t count, allowing Spears to get up. One heck of a chair ..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – May 23, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: May 23, 2022 Location: Ford Center, Evansville, Indiana Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton We’re in a bit of a different era these days, as we now have unified Tag Team Champions, plus the lack of Sasha Banks and Naomi. I know WWE got their chance to complain about Banks and Naomi last week, but why do it once when you can do it again? Other than that, we might actually get something new set for the pay per view next weekend. Let’s get to it. We open with a recap of the Usos beating RKBro to win the Raw Tag Team Titles. The Bloodline wrecked RKBro after the match. Here is Riddle for a chat. Riddle talks about how things have been hard for Randy Orton in the last few years. His back was messed up before the unification match and he could barely walk. Riddle isn’t happy with “that tribal piece of trash” Roman Reigns and he wants revenge on all of the Bloodline. Vengeance is sworn and he knows that Orton is watching at home. The RKBro chants ta..

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – May 18, 2022

Dynamite Date: May 18, 2022 Location: Fertitta Center, Houston, Texas Commentators: Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone It’s Wild Card Wednesday, meaning we find out the two Joker entrants in the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments. Other than that, we have two Dynamites left before Double Or Nothing and that means it is time to start hammering out a few more matches on the card. Most of the show is already set though and that can make things all the more interesting. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Owen Hart Foundation Tournament First Round: Samoa Joe vs. ??? Non-title and the joker is….Johnny Elite (Nitro/Morrison). Feeling out process to start as Joe doesn’t seem overly impressed. Joe knocks him into the corner for some shots to the ribs, followed by an elbow to the face. Some shots to the face have Joe in a bit of trouble though and Elite knocks him to the floor, setting up the big twisting cannonball to take Joe down again. We take a break and come back with Joe hitting a big..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – May 16, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: May 16, 2022 Location: Scope Arena, Norfolk, Virginia Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton We’re in for a big grudge match with Omos vs. Bobby Lashley inside a cage. This is the third match between the two of them after they split the first two, though I’m not sure if it’s the best idea with the Cell pay per view a few weeks away. Other than that, we will probably get another push towards the Usos vs. RKBro on Friday, which will totally be the big conclusive ending. Let’s get to it. We open with a long recap of Omos vs. Bobby Lashley. Here’s what’s coming on the rest of the show. Omos vs. Bobby Lashley Inside a cage with MVP in Omos’ corner. Before the match, MVP runs down the history and goes over the ways you can win the match (pinfall, submission, escape) before promising a lot of violence. Hold on though as Cedric Alexander jumps Lashley from behind in the aisle and the big brawl is on. We take a break and come back with the opening bell,..

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – May 11, 2022

Dynamite Date: May 11, 2022 Location: UBS Arena, Belmont Park, New York Commentators: Excalibur, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone We’re back on Long Island this week and that means it’s going to be a bit of a Bizarro World situation. CM Punk is getting to face Long Island’s own John Silver, but the big story is MJF getting to name the stipulations for his match against Wardlow with Wardlow’s freedom on the line. If nothing else, it should be fun to hear MJF get that kind of a hero’s welcome. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Owen Hart Foundation First Round: Adam Cole vs. Dax Harwood Harwood starts fast with some shots to the face but gets kneed in the ribs to cut him down. That means Cole can start to pose a bit as he stomps Harwood down even more. Harwood gets sent ribs first into the post and it’s time to go outside. Cole sends him into various other things, including HARD into the post as we take a break. Back with Harwood getting sent chest first into the buckle. Harwood is fine enou..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – May 9, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: May 9, 2022 Location: XL Center, Hartford, Connecticut Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton We’re done with Wrestlemania Backlash and now it is time to start getting ready for Hell In A Cell. This means that we are likely in for MORE rematches, as WWE continues to get more time out of their one set of ideas. Not much happened last night on the Raw side, but Cody Rhodes’ rise continues. Let’s get to it. We open with a recap of last night’s main event, with Roman Reigns pinning Riddle so the Bloodline could beat RKBro/Drew McIntyre. Here is RKBro for a chat. Randy Orton talks about how they came up short last night, but that was just a battle and they will win the war. The original plan was for a Tag Team Title unification match, but Roman Reigns cut that off because he knows the Usos can’t beat RKBro. That’s why they’re going to Smackdown this week and DEMANDING that Reigns allow the match. If Reigns doesn’t say yes, it shows how little he beli..
