Wrestling is an over the top industry that is built around the idea of people doing things that you would never see anyone do otherwise. It might not make sense in the real world but it makes sense here, and that is the kind of thing that has an appeal to fans. At the same time, the wrestlers go through all kinds of things that others go through every day, and now one is talking about a very serious incident. NXT star Amari Miller posted a video to TikTok seemingly revealing that she attempted to end her life one week ago. Former WWE Star Gets Very Good Legal News

That’s a good step forward. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are regularly on television doing things that no one else would ever do in regular life. That can make for some rather interesting moments, though that is not the end of what happens to them. There are several things that take place after the cameras stop rolling and now a former wrestler is getting some good news in his personal life. Last month, Patrick Clark, better known as Velveteen Dream, was arrested twice in the span of a week on various charges. However, according to PWInsider.com, the August 20 charges of First Degree Battery and Trespassing have been closed, as a hearing scheduled for September 28 has been canceled. Court records cited a lack of evidence in dropping the charges. Clark was recently released from a 25 day jail sentence for a probation violation stemming from the August 20 charges. Opinion: That is some good news for Clark, but he still has more than enough legal issues to worry about. ..

It Gets Worse: More On Jeff Hardy’s Arrest, Off Of AEW TV

It gets bigger. There are very few modern wrestling stars on the level of Jeff Hardy. After one of the most successful tag team careers in history, Hardy went on to become a top singles star and multiple time World Champion. However, personal issues have taken their toll on him, including another DUI arrest earlier this week. Now things have gotten even worse for Hardy. According to F4WOnline.com, following Hardy’s DUI arrest, WarnerMedia issued a decree that Hardy was not to be used in any more promotion for AEW programming. A ladder match scheduled for this week’s AEW Dynamite between the Hardys, the Young Bucks and the Jurassic Express is no longer being advertised in AEW’s official preview.
