That’s a special tribute. Music has played a big part in wrestling for decades as the right theme song can make or break a wrestler. Backstage News On Why MVP Missed WWE Crown Jewel

There is your explanation. Starting back in 2018, WWE has presented a pair of events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia every year they have been able to go. The company is very well compensated for running the shows and it makes a lot of business sense, but there have been some public relations issues as a result due to some of the country’s laws. Now another one has caused a wrestler to miss the latest event. Last week on SmackDown, Braun Strowman attacked Omos’ manager MVP, laying him out with a series of running powerslams. As a result, MVP did not appear at this weekend’s Crown Jewel event from Saudi Arabia. According to Fightful Select, MVP did not appear at the show because he is a former Muslim turned atheist, which is a violation of Saudi Arabian law. Opinion: This is one of those situations where there is not much MVP could do to avoid missing the show so something had to be done to deal with the situation. WWE used the most logical method they had available while also tying it..

REVIEW: WrestleCon USA vs. The World 2022: The Better Version

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? WrestleCon: USA vs. The World Date: April 2, 2022 Location: Fairmont Hotel, Dallas, Texas Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Veda Scott This is about as obvious of an idea as you can get: take a bunch of wrestlers from WrestleCon weekend and put them in a bunch of matches, one country vs. the rest. This show has a tendency to be one of the weaker of the WrestleCon offerings but there are some talented people on the card. Let’s get to it. Warrior Wrestling Lucha Libre Title: Sam Adonis (USA) vs. La Hiedra (World) vs. Mr..

Stephanie McMahon Announces Major New WWE Streaming Deal

That’s what matters most. WWE does a lot of things and has their hands in a lot of industries around the entertainment world. At the end of the day though, they are a wrestling company and what matters most is getting as many eyes as possible on the product. That makes one of their latest announcements all the better, as more people will be able to view WWE programming. WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon has announced that the company has reached a new streaming deal with the Foxtel Group in Australia, resulting in BINGE being the new streaming partner for WWE in the country. According to a press release, the service will offer a 24/7 streaming channel, all major WWE television shows and other events at no extra cost. Opinion: This is something that seems run of the mill for WWE but it also shows you just how big the company is. Getting a new deal with a company big enough to go all over Australia is a major deal and for WWE it feels like something so normal. It brings in more money to WWE..

Next Time: WWE Cancels Upcoming Event

One less on the calendar. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world and that gives them a lot of advantages over other companies. One of their major strengths is the name recognition that comes with running regular events around the country. It means something to get to see the action live, but that will not be the case for some fans. According to PWInsider.com, WWE has canceled its upcoming Sunday Stunner event on October 16 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. There was no reason given for the cancellation of the show, which would have been the first WWE event in the venue, and no makeup date announced. The event was to be a SmackDown show, featuring matches such as the New Day vs. the Usos and Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross. Opinion: This one comes a bit out of nowhere and I’m curious to know why the show was canceled. There is always the chance that it was due to low ticket sales, which would not be the most shocking in a new venue. WWE is on a bit of a roll ..

WWE Considering Bringing Reunited NXT Team To Main Roster

They could be next. WWE is a unique wrestling promotion in that they have so many resources available to them. One of their biggest is their own in-house developmental system in the form of NXT. As a result, the company is able to build up stars with national exposure before bringing them up to the main roster. That might be what we are getting to see again. Over the weekend, Veer Mahaan reunited with Sanga at an NXT live event to reform the Indus Sher tag team. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is considering bringing the team up from NXT to the main roster at some point in the near future. There is no word on when the team might be brought up. Indus Sher teamed together in NXT before splitting up, with Mahaan coming up to main roster. Opinion: I can go with the idea of bringing the team up to the main roster, but I would hope that WWE has something a little more interesting in mind this time. Indus Sher basically consisted of two big, strong guys from the same country with..

His boots are hung up. Wrestlers have one of the strangest career paths in any industry as it can be rather difficult to get out of the industry. Since wrestlers can find work in a variety of places around the country, it can be easy to keep going for a bit longer than they should. You do see some wrestlers who are able to find a way out of the ring though and another one has done just that. Former WWE star Matthew Rehwoldt, better known as Aiden English, has announced that he will not be taking anymore in-ring bookings. Rehwoldt said that he does not feel like he belongs in the ring anymore and would rather focus on other areas. Instead of wrestling, Rehwoldt will be focusing on broadcasting and other industries, including voiceovers, gaming and esports. I've always been most at home with a mic in front of me ..

The show is going to be interesting for a few reasons, including the fact that it is the first Summerslam ever not under Vince McMahon’s watch. That means we might be seeing something new this time around so let’s get to it. The opening video features a country song about Nashville and how it’s a crazy town. The rest of the video looks at the major matches, with Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar not getting that much of a focus above the rest. Raw Women’s Title: Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch Lynch is challenging. They go to the mat to start with Belair running her over, only to have Lynch snap the arm to take over.
