This includes a full medical staff to take care of various issues, but there are other instances where additional help is needed. The Wrestling Observer reports that this is not the case though, as Riddle’s situation violates the WWE Wellness Policy. Riddle’s first positive test resulted would have likely resulted in a thirty day suspension (as per WWE’s policy), but he did not wrestle from July 25 until August 20, which is less than thirty days. As good a reason as any. Wrestling is a sport all about conflict, which is made all the trickier when a majority of fans know that what they are watching is scripted. At times though, there are some feuds that look more realistic than others because there is an element of reality in them. Two major WWE stars have some real life issues and now one of them is explaining a bit more. There have long been stories of real life heat between Charlotte and Becky Lynch, despite the two of them formerly being friends. Lynch appeared on the MMA Hour (Lynch’s segment begins around 1:43:40) and discussed the issues between her and Charlotte and offering an explanation. According to Lynch, the issues stem from the two of them being competitive and wanting to be the best. The two of them competed for the top spot and ultimately fell out because of it. While the stars and familiar names are the ones who receive the most attention, several other people are also included in a variety of roles. That is the case with some of the wrestlers who are there to make others look good and now there is some controversy about a statement involving some of them. Earlier this year, AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa was forced to take time away from the ring due to a back injury. According to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, since Rosa’s hiatus began, her friends, including names such as KiLynn King, Madi Wrenkowski and Jazmin Allure have not been used as AEW extras. It’s a busy night. WWE has dominated the wrestling world for decades and has long since had a tight grip on almost anything that takes place. Things have changed a bit in recent years though, as promotions are now able to present their own events on large stages as well. That is going to be the case in December, but WWE might be wanting some of the same space on the same day. This week on AEW Dynamite, an announcement was made that Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2022 will take place on December 10. According to Fightful Select, WWE will be presenting an NXT premium live event on the same day, though it is not clear if the two events will take place at the same time. Final Battle is scheduled to take place at 4pm EST. In September, NXT presented its Worlds Collide event on the same day as AEW All Out. WWE and AEW are at the top of the list and the two are in combat for dominance in the United States. They went head to head for a good while under the Wednesday Night Wars, and now they might be going at it again for one day only later this year. AEW has announced that its next pay per view, All Out, will be taking place on Sunday September 4. Some of these shows have been on the air for several years and there have been some very impressive moments over the course of those years. This includes several taped shows, with the list growing over the next coming weeks in a surprise change. According to PWInsider.com, NXT has announced that it will be taping two upcoming shows later this week, along with a third show at some point in the future. This means that the June 7, 14 and 21 shows will all be taped in advance, with the June 28 show being back to a live edition. It’s a delayed honor. There are very few honors in the WWE world as important as an induction into the company’s Hall of Fame. While there have been a lot of different names inducted over the year, there are very few major names in the company’s history that are not inducted. The induction ceremony can be quite the moment, and now we might have an idea when an overdue entry will take place. Former WWE star Batista was announced as part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2020. However, the induction ceremony was postponed until 2021 due the Coronavirus pandemic. Batista was unable to attend the ceremony due to a scheduling conflict. WWE removed him from the class as per his request, leaving him to be inducted later. According to PWInsider.com, Batista will be in attendance in Dallas this year for Undertaker’s induction but is not expected to be inducted until 2023 in Los Angeles over WrestleMania 39 weekend. You can’t tell if someone is going to be out of action for a few days or several months and it can make for some rather scary moments. In this case though, you might not be able to tell if anything is wrong or not as the situation is not entirely clear. There are conflicting reports about AEW’s Thunder Rosa suffering an injury this week at Dynamite. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rosa suffered an injury, though it is not clear when it took place. Rosa teamed with Mercedes Martinez to defeat Jamie Hayter/Britt Baker, setting up Rosa’s match with Baker at Revolution. However, the Revolution match is still scheduled to take place, injury or not. You need the right people. There are a lot of people involved in making a WWE show work and several of them are not often seen on camera. In addition to the wrestlers you see in front of you, there are also the people who help put the matches together. WWE has a large group of producers who work with the wrestlers to make the matches as good as they are, but one of them has not been around as much lately. According to Sean Ross Sapp during a Fightful Select podcast, TJ Wilson, better known as Tyson Kidd, has not been backstage at recent WWE events. As a result, several women were not interested in appearing in the women’s Royal Rumble match as Wilson would not be producing it. Wilson is still with WWE, though there are conflicting reports on why he has not been working. That can make for some interesting moves, as it can be fascinating to see wrestlers jump from one promotion to the other. That can be rather tricky to pull off, but if someone finds something that clicks, it can work wonders for them. During a recent edition of his WOO Nation podcast, Ric Flair claimed that he once again owned “the Man” name. WWE had been fighting him over the name, which had been used by Becky Lynch. If this is the case, Lynch will no longer be allowed to use the name. However, according to Fightful, WWE still has permission to use the name, but has been moving away from it, with Lynch being referred to as “Big Time Becks”. There was a reason for that. WWE has a lot of different television shows available, but that is not the extent of their content. In addition to everything they put on television, they have a wide variety of web series available as well. Some of these have quite the fan base, though one recent change was not so well received. Now we know a bit more about why that was the case. Earlier this year, Paul Heyman was replaced on WWE’s Talking Smack series. The move came just after live fans returned to WWE events and it was unclear why the change was made. Heyman explained the change in an interview with Ariel Helwani, saying that he was unable to appear in the studio for the show while also appearing in Roman Reigns’ corner for the dark match main event. As a result of the scheduling conflict, Vince McMahon made the call for an immediate change. There is nothing to suggest that there is any heat on Heyman. It’s an interesting interview.
