Changing roles can be good sometimes. NXT Trainer and Coach Matt Bloom recently appeared on the ‘Real Monster Radio’ show, where he discussed a number of topics. Terry Taylor, Fit Finlay, Robbie Brookside, Norman Smiley, Steve Corino, Alexander Winkler, ‘Oney Lorcan’ Chris Girard, who just recently retired from being in the ring, Johnny Moss, and we have a few UK coaches that are on the cusp of being full-time coaches as well.” You can see the full interview below: [This post contains video, click to play] Lorcan was released from WWE in November 2021 but returned in October 2022 as a coach at the Performance Center. Not A Fan: Former WWE Star Slams Logan Paul, Credits Shawn Michaels For Paul’s Success

I guess he isn’t impressed. Celebrities appearing at wrestling events has been a concept that has been around for decades. It can be interesting to see famous people from outside of the industry getting a chance to step inside the ring. Comeback: 67 Year Old WWE Hall Of Famer Returning To The Ring After 10+ Years

One more? Wrestling is a unique sport in that you will occasionally see people who are not normally wrestlers getting in the ring for a match. You don’t often see a coach or a broadcaster taking part in other sports, but wrestling is not exactly normal. It can be a special moment when someone gets back in the ring after a long absence though and now we are set to see it again. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: We’re Getting Started: Backstage WWE Reaction To Vince McMahon’s Return, Changes So Far During a recent edition of his After 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff, 67, announced that he will be returning to the ring at a show in Florida on February 11. This show is all about the Elimination Chamber, with John Cena defending the Raw World Title against five challengers. The only other match of note on the card is Big Show vs. HHH, but it’s a far cry from the main event. Let’s get to it. The opening video only focuses on the Chamber..

Not Him: WWE Pulls Hall Of Famer From ECW Tribute Show

They’re the big ones. WWE is the largest and most powerful wrestling company in the world, meaning they are where several wrestlers want to wind up. Some wrestlers are talented and valuable enough to keep around after their in-ring careers are over and get to stick with the company in a backstage role. One such star was unable to attend a special show as a result. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Would Be A Record: WWE Hall Of Famer Wants To Return After 21 Years For Royal Rumble Over the weekend, Battleground Championship Wrestling presented its “Tribute To The Extreme” event at the 2300 Arena (formerly the ECW Arena) in Philadelphia. He will return to the company beginning in January 2023. Regal was written off of AEW television a couple of weeks ago when MJF knocked him out with the same brass knuckles that Regal gave him to win the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. Further according to Tony Khan, Regal can return to WWE and coach but not be an on-air personality in 2023. Editor’s Opinion: This is great news for everyone involved and a perfect role for him. He is one of the greatest wrestling minds of the last 40 years and everybody that is around him will benefit from his experience. He knows how to work with talent, executives, and peopl..

WATCH: AEW’s Thunder Rosa Records First Song

It’s another field. Wrestlers are very talented performers in that they are able to go to a ring or grab a microphone and convince fans to watch something that they are doing. That is more difficult than it seems but it can be very effective when it is done right. Welcome Back? Controversial 43 Year Old Former Star Working Backstage At Survivor Series

Another hand. There are a lot of people needed to make a wrestling show work and a lot of them are not people you see in front of the camera. In addition to the wrestlers, there are coaches and producers who help put the matches together. WWE has a large group of such producers and this week saw them bring back a name to help things out a bit, though it might not be so well received. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: The Next Big Thing: Triple H Reveals Brock Lesnar Is Selling Meat According to Fightful Select, Brian Kendrick served as a producer on the SmackDown Women’s Title match between Ronda Rousey and Shotzi at Survivor Series, assisting Jason Jordan. Therefore, the main event is a five on five Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown Survivor Series elimination tag for pure bragging rights. At least they didn’t have a..

John Laurinaitis Threatened To Fire A WWE Trainer Over Wearing Sweatpants

It’s a corporate thing. WWE is a rather large company and the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. They have their headquarters at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut, which is run like any othe corporate office would be. This can make for some slightly strange issues though and now a former WWE star is explaining how serious things got for him at one point. During an appearance on Story Time With Dutch Mantell, former WWE coach Tom Prichard told a story about wearing workout gear to WWE headquarters. Prichard said that he felt it was appropriate since he was an in-ring coach. However, former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis said that he needed Prichard to dress more professionally. Laurinaitis even called in to check on what Prichard was wearing and threatened to fire him for not dressing appropriately, resulting in Prichard changing. Opinion..

More Details On Jon Moxley’s New AEW Deal, Surprise Appearances Possible

There is some more to it. AEW has quite the talented roster of stars and it makes sense for the company to want to lock up some of the more important members for as long as they can. In some cases this involves adding some extra responsibilities to their workload, which was the situation for one of AEW’s top stars. Now we know some more about how everything will go from here. Earlier this month, AEW President Tony Khan announced that AEW World Champion Jon Moxley had signed a new five year contract with the company. The new deal would make Moxley exclusive to AEW and its international partners while also giving Moxley coaching and mentorship responsibilities. There is no word on what kind of mentorship would be included. According to Fightful Select, Moxley’s status with promotions like GCW and Pro Wrestling Revolver is not clear, though he reportedly insisted on finishing up with GCW over the weekend. AEW’s the Firm appeared at the show to help Nick Gage take the GCW World Title fro..

Jon Moxley Gets Several Responsibilities With New AEW Deal

Stick around for a bit why don’t you. The rise of AEW has changed the wrestling world as there is now a new place near the top of the wrestling world for several wrestlers to go. The company has come a long way in just a few years but they also need to look towards the future. One of the most important things is to have the right people in the right places and now they have secured that for the long term. AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Jon Moxley has signed a new five year deal with the company. The new deal make him exclusive to the company and its international partners (including New Japan Pro Wrestling) and will see him move into mentoring and coaching roles. I'm excited about tonight's huge announcement that @AEW World Champion @JonMoxley has signed a 5 year contract extension! It's fitting that Mox will be in action to kick of..
