SmackDown Results – November 18, 2022

Smackdown Date: November 18, 2022 Location: XL Center, Hartford, Connecticut Commentators: Michael Cole, Wade Barrett Survivor Series is next week and odds are we find out what we are going to be getting in the men’s WarGames match. You can probably guess one of the teams but we are going to need another team to oppose them. The rest of the show could use some work too though and we might be getting something like that tonight. Let’s get to it. Here are the Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre for a chat, likely about their officially announced WarGames match against the Bloodline. Sheamus checks his mic in a callback to last week before asking how many times he and McIntyre have been to war. They have known each other for twenty years and it has created respect between them. Sheamus even had McIntyre as the best man at his wedding three weeks ago. The fans chant UCEY but Sheamus says they want a Brutey. Drew: “Did you just say Brutey?” Sheamus wants McIntyre to be an honorary Brute in..

Up Time: WWE Considering Two Surprising NXT Call Ups

That’s why they’re there. NXT is a unique situation in wrestling as it is both its own thing as well as WWE’s developmental territory. That means the wrestlers are there for the sake of being called up to the main roster when their time comes. It makes almost every match and show an audition, and it seems that WWE has their eye on two NXT stars for a potential call up. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is interested in calling up both Sanga and Xyon Quinn to the main roster. WWE is said to see Quinn as “the total package”. Sanga originally served as Grayson Waller’s bodyguard but has since split off on his own, acting as something of a sage, as well as defeating Quinn this week on NXT. There is no guarantee that the callups will happen or when they will take place if they do. Opinion: Quinn does not surprise me whatsoever as he has the exact look that WWE would want to push. Whether he is ready for that spot remains to be seen, but he certainly checks a lot of boxes for WWE...

WWE Gets Approval To Lose A Lot Of Money Soon

It’s one less thing. WWE is a huge company and that offers a lot of benefits. At the same time though, it can cause some problems of its own, as there are going to be some decisions made that can force the company to do things it might not want. There is a good chance that this has to do with money, and that is the case again this time, as WWE is going to have to cut some checks. WWE has announced that they have received preliminary approval of a settlement in a lawsuit filed against the company last year. Stockholders Ryan Merholz and Melvyn Klein sued WWE, along with several company executives, including Vince and Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, George Barrios and more, over making decisions that did not have the best interests of the shareholders in mind. There is no word on how much WWE will have to pay. WWE has had some money issues before. Impact Wrestling Date: May 20, 2021 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: D’Lo Brown, Josh Matthews We’re done with Under Siege and that means it is time to start getting ready for Moose vs. Kenny Omega at Against All Odds. Other than that, we need to fill out the rest of the card, which is a nice feeling as these regular big shows have done a lot of good things for the way Impact works month to month. Let’s get to it. In Memory Of New Jack. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Rohit Raju vs. Jake Something Shera is here too. Something forearms Raju outside in a hurry but the Shera showdown lets Raju get in a few cheap shots. Back in and Jake hits a hard shoulder and shouts a lot as Raju rolls outside. This time the referee checks on Raju, allowing Shera to get in a big clothesline of his own. Jake’s missed charge sends his shoulder into the chest, setting up Raju’s flying armbar for two. A kick to the face gives Raju two more and it’s time for a standing armba..

How Much Do WWE Superstars Make At Each House Show?

Ringside News recently revealed how much money WWE Superstars make competing at each house show throughout the week. WWE Superstars are asked to pay their own road expenses. While this doesn’t add up to a lot of money, it still comes out of their paycheck. With the news that WWE signed SmackDown Live to FOX for $1 billion, many are asking if the paychecks for people on the roster will improve. Dave Meltzer commented on this very thing on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier this week. Here is what he had to say: “The way that they do things you are paid on the house. Which is ridiculous now. I mean it’s been ridiculous for 10 years. Yeah, I mean it’s completely ridiculous now. I mean the house is not the revenue stream.” “What percentage is fair for them to get? I mean I don’t know if 50% is fair I mean 8% sounds awful low to me and that’s what they’re getting. With this kind of money, it probably makes it down to 5% unless they get what they’re gonna get.” If SmackDown Live does go to..
