That’s a serious problem. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history and unfortunately several of them have left the company under less than ideal circumstances. Some of those instances are due to something taking place in a wrestler’s personal life, which is what seems to have happened to a former WWE star whose career fell apart as a result. It could be a bit. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and unfortunately some of them are a lot worse than others. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt and they can happen in the blink of an eye, even right in the middle of a match. That seems to be the case again and now it very well may be something that keeps a star on the shelf for the time being. It’s a Hall Of Fame thing. Wrestling has a history of working with celebrities and it has been a mixed bag over the years. There are several celebrities who are there for the sake of promoting their latest project and nothing more, while there are occasionally celebrities there for their love of wrestling (among other things). The latter was the case this week and a WWE legend got involved as a result. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Tag Team Splits On NXT In Mid-Match Betrayal Bad Bunny, who has worked with WWE multiple times in the past and is set to host this year’s Backlash, was a guest on the Late Late Show this week. During the interview, wrestling was brought up, resulting in Bunny bringing out Rey Mysterio. Host James Corden then faced Mysterio in a match, where he was quickly defeated. Mysterio is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame later this month. Kind of one sided. Check out the match (the wrestling portion begins at around 11:00), plus Bunny and Mysterio in WWE:..
They’re done. Tag teams have a strange history in WWE as they often feel like they are put together for the sake of being split up. This can cause some rather abrupt endings for teams, as they seemingly go from happy to split in a matter of days. Something similar has happened again in NXT as a team that only started having troubles a few weeks ago have now split up. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: BREAKING: WWE Announces Newest Inductee Into Hall Of Fame Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley split up this week on NXT when Paxley turned on Nile during a match. The two were involved in a #1 contenders triple threat match when Paxley refused to accept Nile’s tag and then attacked her. This comes after a few weeks of taunting from Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre, who have been saying that the two are not a real team. The two had been regularly teaming together since August 2022. They have a history together. Check out the split, plus the two in happier times: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post..
He’s a big one. While there are all kinds of accomplishments and milestones to be achieved in WWE, there are very few that stand the test of time. Almost any title that is won is eventually going to be lost, which creates a problem for remembering some wrestlers more than others. There is one honor that sticks around forever though and now another star is receiving the special recognition. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: No More: WWE Star Confirms Departure From Company This week on the Bump, Ric Flair announced that the Great Muta will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2023. Muta was a force. Check out what he could do in the ring: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post con..
That’s some high praise. The introduction of AEW into the wrestling world has changed quite a few things, as now a new batch of wrestlers with their own style has been brought into the landscape. That’s an endorsement. We are rapidly approaching WrestleMania 39 weekend and as usual, it will be the biggest and busiest few days of the wrestling year. That is some high praise. There are several different factors that go into making a wrestler feel like a big star. While in-ring abilities and presentation are important, there are other things that can help a lot, including the proper nickname. Almost every big time wrestler has had one over the years and now one of the most prominent of all time sees it in use for another star. That’s one way to go. With so many talented wrestlers in WWE, it can be difficult to find something for everyone to do. That’s something special. There are all kinds of things that need to come together to make a wrestler a success. At or near the top of the list is the ability to talk, as it can make the fans care about you in a way that almost anything in the ring just cannot do. He’s back. Any wrestler can go through all kinds of health issues during their time in the ring. These things can put them on the shelf for any length of time and there is often little that can be done about them. In addition to the in-ring issues, there are other health problems that can pop up every so often. That was the case again in a serious way for a wrestling legend, but now things are looking up.
