By His Ruling: Lawsuit Filed Against WWE By MLW Dismissed, Case Not Over Yet

Dismissed for now. While WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world, they are certainly not the only one. The company has dominated the industry for so long but there are still several other promotions to be found. One such promotion was not happy with WWE’s actions and did something about it, but that has not turned out very well for them. This week, according to PWInsider.com, US District Court Judge Edward J. Davila dismissed the case, basically saying that MLW did not make a strong enough argument to back up claims of WWE violating antitrust laws. At the time, Boogeyman was feuding with John Bradshaw Layfield, who was in the ring when Boogeyman caused worms to rain from the ceiling. Layfield wound up rolling around in worms and Bauer says Vince McMahon found the visual hilarious. Three Wrestlers Fired Over Legitimate Attack At Recent Show

That’s serious. There are a lot of factors that go into a wrestling match in order to make it work. Wrestlers are tasked with making the fans care about what they are seeing, while also telling a story and keeping your opponents safe. Most of the time this works out well, but there are times when things go off the rails. That was the case again recently and it got bad in a hurry. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Los Parks (LA Park, LA Park Jr. and El Hijo de LA Park) are no longer with Major League Wrestling (MLW) after they legitimately attacked two wrestlers at the March 31 show. MLW owner Court Bauer has confirmed the story. The three were scheduled to run in on a Jacob Fatu math to set up Park vs. Fatu, with Alex Hammerstone making the save. The trio “went into business for themselves” with real punches and chair shots, causing all three to be fired. Fatu and Hammerstone are both ok after the incident. Someone will be interested. While WWE and AEW receive most of the attention, there are still some outstanding wrestlers outside of the major two companies. It can be a lot of fun to watch these stars come up through the ranks and showcase their skills, and thanks to modern technology, it is happening more than ever before. Now we are seeing one such wrestler hitting the free agent market. Former Major League Wrestling World Champion Filthy Tom Lawlor has announced that he is officially a free agent. Lawlor posted to Twitter, thanking Major League Wrestling for the last four years. There is no word on where Lawlor will sign next, though he is currently the New Japan Pro Wrestling Strong Champion. The voice of WCW discusses the growth of MLW. 20-year pro wrestling commentator Tony Schiavone is continuing his tenure in the business as the lead commentator for Major League Wrestling which was founded by former WWE creative writer Court Bauer. Recently, the promotion struck a deal with 'BeIN Sports' and their 'Fusion' show is currently airing on the sports network. While speaking with the Baltimore Sun, Schiavone revealed that when Bauer originally presented the gig to him as lead commentator it was not something that he was too keen on seeing as how he considered himself retired from the business. “To be honest, I didn't want to do it.
