Can’t they all just get along? There have been all kinds of stars throughout the history of WWE, with only a small handful reaching the top of the company. It means a lot to see one of those stars becoming all time legends, meaning they are remembered long after they hang up their boots. At the same time though, not all legends get along and that is the case again, with one having something to say about the other. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took to Twitter this week to bash fell Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield for his history of bullying accusations. Flair said that WWE’s anti-bullying campaign must not apply to Layfield, with Flair naming Joey Styles and “Jason” Roberts (presumably Justin Roberts, who accused Layfield of bullying) as former victims. WWE Hall Of Famer Returns On Monday Night Raw To Manage Current Star

He can do some things. There have been a lot of stars throughout WWE’s history and some of them have become legends of the industry. You know these stars when you see them and it can mean something to see them show up again after a long absence. That was the situation again this week, as a legend showed up in a new role in an effort to build up a younger star. This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield made a surprise appearance, introducing Baron Corbin as the newest member of the Monday Night Raw roster. Corbin was sent to the show in exchange for Rey Mysterio, who jumped to SmackDown last week. This comes after Layfield picked Corbin up in his limo after a loss on SmackDown back in August. Their night wasn’t done, last night at UFC 276, several celebrities and superstars were in attendance. This included the McMahon family, as well as Pat McAfee, who took in the show. Wrestling Legend Announces He Will Never Wrestle Again

That might be for the best. There have been a lot of wrestlers throughout history but only a few of them have reached the top level. Fans know the biggest names in history because they have left enough of a mark throughout their careers. That is the case with one wrestling legend, though he has announced that he can never wrestle again as the injuries have caught up with him. During an appearance on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle revealed that he will never wrestle again after double knee replacement surgery. As a result, he is not wrestling again out of fear of hurting his knees again. Angle said that while he is still in a lot of pain, he can walk around better than before the procedure. They’re good at that kind of thing in NXT. One of the most common criticisms that you will see of wrestlers is that they are not real athletes. Critics will cite the predetermined nature of a match to say that everything about wrestling is fake, which is just not the case. What the wrestlers are doing in the ring is very real and shows you just how athletically gifted these people are. That was on display again this week. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, NXT held a powerlifting combine at the Performance Center earlier this week. It is rare for some of those names to change, but every now and then you hear something different and it can kind of throw you off a bit. That being said, sometimes a change is needed and it can make things better. It seems that we are seeing that again at the moment. This week on SmackDown, Baron Corbin officially changed his name to Happy Corbin. The change comes after Corbin ended his unlucky streak by winning money gambling in Las Vegas over the week. Nice to see you. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, there is almost no choice but to split them up into different rosters with exclusive wrestlers. It is the best way to keep things moving with so many wrestlers, but there are ways to get wrestlers from one show onto another in short order. That was the case again this week in a moment that was better than it should have been. This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a special appearance from Baron Corbin. Early in the show, Corbin announced that he was here at the request of Jinder Mahal, who offered to pay him to take out Drew McIntyre. This comes after Corbin has fallen on hard financial times and needed the money. Corbin was able to appear based on the Brand To Brand Invitational, which allowed one wrestler to appear on the opposite show four times a year. Corbin was defeated by McIntyre in their match.
