On The Road: 53 Year Old Wrestling Legend Details Efforts To Return To The Ring

That’s an amazing turnaround. You never want to see a wrestler get hurt as it can leave them out of the ring for a very long time. There are some incredibly serious injuries out there and some of them can take years away from a wrestler’s career. It can be quite the sight to see them get back in the ring and we might be on the way to seeing that with a wrestling legend. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On The Bad List: WWE Star Reveals She Is “Beat Up”, Possibly Out Of Action Buff Bagwell was involved in a June 2020 car wreck that resulted in a variety of injuries, including a hurt knee. Bagwell appeared on Road Dogg’s Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast and revealed that if an upcoming test shows no evidence of infection in his knee, he can have a rod planted into it, followed by a knee replacement. If those procedures go well, Bagwell could return to the ring after he recovers. Bagwell, 53 years old, has only wrestled four times since his injury, most recently in October 2023. WWE Turned Down Rehab For Former WCW/WWE Star

He’s one of many. WWE has been around for a very long time now and there have been a lot of wrestlers to come through their doors over the years. Some of them have made a bigger impact than others but they have all done at least something in the company. WWE does some nice things for its current and former wrestlers, but one of them does not seem to meet the requirements for one of those offers. Former WWE and WCW star Buff Bagwell appeared on the Who The Fook Are These Guys podcast and revealed that WWE would not send him to rehab when his substance abuse issues were increasing. Bagwell only wrestled for the company for a few weeks before being fired in 2001 at the beginning of the Invasion. This took place before WWE began offering every former wrestler rehabilitation treatment on the company’s time. Bagwell did have some good moments in his career. How Vince McMahon Reacted To A Horrible Match

He matters most. While he might not be around as often as he was before, there is no one more powerful in WWE than Vince McMahon. His opinion or thought on a wrestler, storyline, or pretty much anything in the company can determine its fate and that is often a powerful weapon. It can be both good and bad, though in one infamous occasion, it did not turn out well at all. Back on July 2, 2001, Monday Night Raw included a WCW World Title match with Booker T. defending against Buff Bagwell. The match was meant to kick off the new WCW but was so poorly received that it partially caused the plans to be canceled, setting up the InVasion storyline instead. It was an important night in WWE’s history, but what did McMahon think about what happened? Jim Ross discussed the match on his Grilling JR podcast, saying that McMahon was not happy with the result. The match resulted in a loss of fan interest and momentum for the story, as McMahon felt that Booker T. and Bagwell could have a good match t..

Former WWE/WCW Star Arrested, Faces Long List Of Charges

I think we’ll call that a bad day. Every now and then, you hear a wrestler’s name in the news for something that is probably not going to go well. Sometimes you see someone getting in some pretty serious trouble and that could put their lives on a rather different path. That is now the case with a former wrestler, and it is quite a big case this time around. According to the Georgia Gazette, former WCW and WWE star Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was arrested in Cobb County, Georgia on May 22 on a variety of charges. It is not clear when the incident took place, but Bagwell was in a car accident last August which resulted in a variety of issues. There is no word on if this is the situation that led to the charges, though there is no other incident on record which would lead to the charge. Here is what Bagwell is facing: * Giving false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer * Speeding * Failure to yield when entering an intersection * Hit and run; duty of driver to stop of re..

Video: Watch Jerry Lawler Dance With Rikishi In A Very Nice Tribute To Brian Christopher

Keeping it in the family. Last year, Brian Christopher, better known as Grandmaster Sexay, passed away at the age of forty six. Christopher was a fairly successful wrestler over his career with his highest level of fame coming as part of the team Too Cool, also including Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi. Their dance act was rather popular, and that popularity continues to this day and this weekend in particular. On Saturday night, Christopher’s father Jerry Lawler and former partner Rikishi appeared at a Memphis Grizzlies game for part of their Grind City Wrestling night. Rikishi and Lawler performed the Too Cool dance on the court, with Lawler performing Christopher’s part. Before the dance, Rikishi talked about how Christopher was his friend and Lawler said it would be an honor to take his son’s part. There were other wrestlers in attendance for the evening as well, including the Steiner Brothers and Buff Bagwell. These are some kind words. Check out Rikishi’s speech: [This post contain..
