Cody [Rhodes] was a guest on Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where the former ROH Champion revealed which Legacy member he was incredibly jealous of during their time as a team. Cody opens up by explaining why Rey Mysterio means so much to him, recalling what the former WWE Champion had done for him: “I have a Wookiee life debt to Rey Mysterio and he doesn’t even know it. Rey was kind of the one who ribbed me and brought me into the office that day with Vince [McMahon] and said, ‘I want to work Cody at WrestleMania – he [has] got some good ideas.’ And I did, thank God. Tyler Breeze Reveals How He Was Almost Fired Several Times In His Career

Tyler Breeze and Fandango were recently interviewed on Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where they discussed how Breeze he was nearly fired on several occasions. Fandango first explained how he and Breeze weren’t complacent and pitched gimmicks to get themselves on TV: “It was just example of, like, before tagging with Breezy, you weren’t really booked on TV, so it’s easy just to sit around every week at TV and being frustrated, but I think we utilized the [WWE].com guys really well, just kind of being proactive. And trying to almost, like, pitch our own little gimmick there and I think it’s just a good example of being proactive and just trying to make something happen. Sheamus and Cesaro Explain Who They’d Like to Face, Pretending to Drink Beer on ‘Raw’

‘Raw‘ Superstars Sheamus and Cesaro were interviewed on Edge & Christian’s Podcast of Awesomeness where they spoke about the bar scene they were involved in and finding new people to face as the Raw Tag Team Champions. Christian asked Sheamus and Cesaro if they gave the team their all when they were first told they’d be teaming. Sheamus responded. “I was in from the beginning, the get-go. We both talked about it, like, where we were, and we battered each other in the best of seven [series] to remind people just how good we were and what we could do. Who Will Induct the Dudley Boyz Into the Hall of Fame?

This totally reeks of awesomeness. Earlier this year, the Dudley Boyz were announced as part of the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame class. The induction itself is long overdue but it also brought up the question of who would be inducting them. That question was answered today with a surprise announcement. The team deserves this. [This post contains video, click to play] On today’s episode of “Busted Open Radio”, host Bubba Ray Dudley offered the honor of inducting he and D-Von Dudley to Edge and Christian. Who’s Idea Was For AJ Styles to Win the US Title at Madison Square Garden?

<p>While appearing on <a href="https://art19.com/shows/ecs-pod-of-awesomeness" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Edge & Christian’s podcast</a>, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/aj-styles" title="AJ Styles">AJ Styles</a></strong> revealed that it was actually <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong>’s idea for <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/Kevin-Owens" title="Kevin Owens">Kevin Owens</a></strong> to drop the United States Championship title to him at the Madison Square Garden event a few weeks back.</p><p><em>“To me, it’s smart. It’s something that hasn’t been done in a long time and to do it at Madison Square Garden and everybody with WWE knows that’s a big deal. I think it was awesome. I think it was very clever and I loved it.”</em></p><p>Styles recalled, <em>“there was a pop, ‘he won! Yes!’ but, ‘well, who’s going to walk out there?’ and then, there was another pop because nobody walked out there. It was really cool, but it was smart to not do that every year, but every couple of years to do something like that. I think it just came down to doing something different and it was Vince’s call and no one else’s. And yeah, it was great.”</em></p><p>Styles went on to explain how he wouldn’t be surprised to see the WWE Championship change hands at a SmackDown Live live event.</p><p><em>“You never know. And who knows? When the guys wrestling, whoever it may be wrestling Jinder Mahal, they may switch it. If you’ve got John Cena working Jinder Mahal on the main event or whatever, it could possibly happen. That’s a good idea. That’s a business move to some extent.”</em></p>

Edge Says WWE Medical Staff Has Barred Him from Ever Wrestling Again

<p>While speaking about his early retirement back in 2011, Edge mentioned that despite the desire from fans to see him back in the ring, he would never wrestle against due to his injuries. He would then reveal that WWE medical <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/staff/" title="staff">staff</a></strong> has barred him from ever wrestling <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/again/" title="again">again</a></strong>.</p><p><em>“I appreciate that people always ask me, ‘oh, so you’re going to come back for one more match, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/right/" title="right">right</a></strong>?’ It’s a huge complement that you want me to come back for one more match; however, it can never, ever happen. Edge Says Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe Should Have Been Saved for WrestleMania

<p>During the recent installment of the E&C Podcast of Awesomeness, Edge talked about the upcoming match between <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/brock-lesnar" title="Brock Lesnar">Brock Lesnar</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/samoa-joe" title="Samoa Joe">Samoa Joe</a></strong> and mentioned that WWE should have saved the match for <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/go/wrestlemania" target="_blank" title="WrestleMania">WrestleMania</a></strong> next year.</p><p><em>“You want my take? Here’s my take, ok, I’m assuming that they wanna go Reigns and Brock at WrestleMania. I personally would have gone Brock and Joe at WrestleMania because it’s different, it is fresh, it is believable.
